    Looks like ver1.48 is a winner!

    Yes there does seem to be some latency issues... however all in all better than previous releases. Hopefully 1.49 will be released soon and resolve the latency issues.

    I am sure we will see 1.49 soon. Many issues should be resolved in that release as well as more stability. Patience...

(just a regular soldier). The warping was pretty bad as well as a HUGE increase in lag on the same Missions. Remember we run a 24/7 packed server... we know when things are fishy. It was definitely starting to smell Have upgraded to 1.48 Beta... will see how things go.

    Suchey... I believe memory is the core issue with the increased crashes in 1.46.

    lol @ Dave In our experience thus far Clan Matches are somewhat unreliable in OFP. Fun but not somethiing to hat your hat on due to some issues with Servers and Netcode. Make sure whatever you do that you are playing matches on a REAL Good server (1.4Ghz+ with 1GB Ram and nothing else running on the system) with VERY high speed connection (T3 or better with more than 50% capacity available).

    Morgan... that would be the 'Who is Speaking' option that people want. When someone speaks it would say who is speaking with maybe a small Mic symbol next to their name or an extra display on the screen that pops up when someone talks. For now though I think even if they made it show up when you looked at the Playerlist with a MIC/Speaker symbol it would be enough to get the Spammers out.

    In my experience it is working pretty good. I have watched and whenever someone connects with a different Config than that of the Server it definitely let's you know. However, I have also notcied that it will give false readings with a slow connection (i.e. High Pings and lag situations). So i would put it at about 98% reliable... just watch the person it reports the config message on. If they have a bad connection did it read out a full message or just that their config was different? If it gives you a path (within the Config.bin) then you should be aware you probably have a cheater on your hands. If it is plain without the path it may just be lag...

    Yep... and I know many people that feel the same way. People that stick with games such as MOHAA and Wolf and such for MP are usually small minded and do not wish to change their ways. (i.e. learn to Fly and Drive Tanks) They are comfy with just shooting a gun and running. Now for SP... MOHAA and Wolf are cool because they have a plot and you play a role. Like Max Payne which IMO for SP is one of the best. But again OVERALL OFP blows them all away. There just is NO comparison. Now we just need Administration attention

    Yep. We continue to host HL, CS, DOD, Wolfenstein, and MOHAA. (Althoguh inferior in Gameplay they are superior in Administration aspect). I mean i really prefer OFP in all aspects other than the Administration side. I am sure BIS will get there... after all the HL engine has been out for a long time and was based on the Quake/Quake2 engine I believe so it has many more years behind it. I truly hope BIS listens and looks at all this stuff. It would be awesome to have more Administrative tools and abilities such as Logging.

    Reverend how so? Logs and Netcode are the 2 largest things that people desire based on response and Polls I have seen. 1) Better NetCode 2) Detailed Server Side Logging 3) Who is Speaking (so Mic Spammers and such can be kicked) 4) More and Better Dedicated Server Admin Commands (i.e. in game Banning)

    Maybe you could post the Mission you speak of with EXACT directions of how to replicate the crash. others could also test the scenario.

    Actually BIS could lock it down and then release a type of SDK. Not sure where they stand on that but I think that would be the way to go.

    What's the Parameter to require a certain version on a Dedicated Server? So that we can make people use 1.46. Hmmm... We find it impossible to police such events due to the fact we now have several servers online and they are fairly large capacity. Suggestions?

Fourth... you need to look at all the topics and you will see Keg is as much to blame as any other individual. I know he may be your 'friend' but understand he is definitely no more important to this community than others. Fifth... either lock down the topics you feel are going wrong or learn to read them in their entirety. I know being a Moderator for such a large forum is not easy... but guys you must realize that you have multiple societies clashing here. It's truly a melting pot full of different people from different parts of the world. The US and Canadian people are VERY aggressive and sometimes lacking in typing skills (heh)... while the guys from Europe (and abroad) are pretty snippy and short as well as sometimes self-righteous. Realize that people are VERY different. Sixth... I apologize if the above statements in my fifth point offended anyone from N. America or Europe. It is a generalization and my feelings. You see my wife is from Europe (Holland) and I have had more personal encounters with the differences in the cultures than most... and that is how I see it Sometimes we argue over stupid things because our minds sometimes just aren't insync.     We have the SAME problem. I have emailed support@bistudio.com and have not heard a solution or reason yet. I encourage others having this problem to email your context.bin and flashpoint.rpt files to them. We need this fixed ASAP... it is happening to all I fear. So currently there are NO stable servers running OFP (Up and Down all over ASE if you watch)

    Trigger Happy Yeah them scores are crazy at FragHaus huh? I used to think I understood the Scorring but anymore it's kinda messed up. For example... SU25's score as SOFT targets. Now that's screwy Anyway... if ya need hosting Trigger let me know. I can help ya guy.

    Placebo as I mentioned on ICQ, only a couple would represent FragHaus. Only one truly is responsible for FragHaus (me). If they don't show a 'FragHaus Tag' in some way then please don't assume they represent FragHaus. People have individual ideas and actions. If I stated something out of line or acted in anyway unbecoming in these forums I apologize. I do try to stay as professional as possible. Also... FHA (FragHaus Aliance) (the FH with the STAR) is a group that are Elite Players on FragHaus. Could be anyone from an Admin to just a good regular player on FragHaus. We are talking a pretty large group... and growing.

    Kegetys... I am sorry but I have seen enough of your continual complaining. You 'own' nothing. You have no 'rights' to anything. 'IF' someone chooses to give you props for your little MOD's or MISSION's then you should say 'Thank You, Can I Have Some More Sir?' and leave it at that<span style='color:red'><span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'>.</span></span> (I have made MODs and I have made Missions... and could careless where they are who uses them and if I get credit simply because while it may be a little time consuming it is SOOOO simple to do MODs and Missions and BIS are the ones who deserve all credit and have the rights to the game.) Now please stop following people around these forums ragging them about the subject. You have done it on no less than 5 different topics.
