unable to join any official server after 1.94 hotfix
Beagle posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
When trying to log on to any official server after 1.94 hotfix, the error message shows up: Session lost - Verifying PBO failed enoch\addons\functions_f_enoch.ebo Update was forced by steam, data files were validated after update. -
Warlords is most often played against players... AI will hardly engage anything beyond 2000m on its own initiative. Regarding the Titan AA from SPAA, it will rarky hit somethign at maximum range, the best change to score a hit on a Manouvering target is 1000-3000m with head on shots beeing the most effetiv against players since the reation tiem is the shortest Missiles fired on the beam on a plane miss practically all the time.

Only Dwarden knows that ;) -
unable to join any official server after 1.94 hotfix

Addendum: all official servers are still on 145903, while client is 145977. The changes in enoch.ebo makes it uncompatible with older version. All servers need an update and a restart. -

14:12 CEST, situation remains unchanged. But at least the severs are empty now ;) And since I assume that the official servers should be up to date, that's a sign that something is wrong with "enoch.ebo" We need a hotfix for the hotfix -
Say hello to that MBT at 4000 with your VD of 2300, or try to lock something that is not rendered at your setting but can see you.... see why its mandatory. Warlords is a Multiplayer mission. If settings are possible that only a few öeople in the world can run on theyr quantum computers, why should anyone with a standard gaming PC try to play it as duck in a barrel.?

In real life, handguns are not issued to infantry at all, since the use of them in military combat is minimal. It was and is standard for Squad Leaders, Machinegunners and Sharpshooters. The effective range and panetration is to short to have any real use. The term Sidearm comes from the short saber that was used in the times of Muskets, hence, secondary armament. I've never seen a regular grunt with a sidearm, those were always onyl issues for special purpose, like guard duty in low risk areas, indoors, chief of watch etc....oh and in manouvers, the officers and sergeants always carried pistols with life rounds in manouvers... in case of "unforsseable circumstances" that may happen in longer lasting exercises somewhere in remote areas with equipment worth millions.
-
the sidearms for all decission was indeed abit wierd. I personaly rarely see any practical use for them, especially when carbines and bullpups are equiped. I see a use for them for MG-Gunners and designated Marksmen and Snipers.
-
there must be a reasonable limit on official servers for people that don't want to sacrifice their ultra gfx settings for potato gfx but 8000m view distance. the current 4000m are already pushing it, especially after hours into the mission.
-
I have to confirm this, different aircraft, different speeds and altitudes, even different weather settings, but no vortices.
-
Regarding Spetznaz, the russian radio protocols are missing speech files for "echelon right" and "echelon left".
-
We have the same issue with Tanoa right since warlords started.
-
thats what I was thinking too.
-
o.k. i used gametracker in another suspicious case...a player "a suspicious sandwich" is using the mine dispensers (and killingn its own team in the process) on EU#03 despite the fact those are taken out of the Armory. Thats suspicious.

Warlords is not worth playing anymore because of the rampant cheating
Beagle replied to vikingbjorn's topic in ARMA 3 - MULTIPLAYER
And thats the point. I don't join a Multiplayer pvp mission to get confronted mainly with AI and robots, which autocannons and ED-1D are. -
No nicks since I the kicks came too fast. Servers were EU#21 and US#21e yesterday and today.
-
looking at how they are used in vanilla game I would say it's a design decission, not a bug.
-
The main reason for me to buy that DLC was the tin foil hat and the tractor...they got me hooked with that features.
-
There is currently a annoying and plain not acceptable behaviour going on with the LIvonia warlords server. The same 2 player are on every day and kick joinign player before they have even loaded the mission. You cant join afterwards, and since they never end the mission, but rather occupy the next server, you end up beeing unable to enter any Livinoa warlords server that day.

Beagle replied to vikingbjorn's topic in ARMA 3 - MULTIPLAYER
It's an exploit, not a cheat, and this is by for not the onnly one. BTW you can get rid of those Turrets with a satchel charge most of the time. What makes me quit currently is when you run into an army of ED-1Ds with all the player hiding outside of OA. -
To be honest, auto turrets & combat drones do not belong into a pvp mission. If we start battling in robots, we could right go to battle mecha.

Server lag is still an issue when the "right" measure are applied by players to force it... even on 32 Player servers. I would not go that way again. It has never worked well over longer duration.
-
If it works that way 1 minute might indeed be a bit short. I would opt for 90seconds.
-
Depends on if that cooldown is per town, per player or in general. If it is general, 1 Minute is a damned long time., 1 minute per town gives you enough time to move a bit, while 1 minute per Player would have no effect at all.

TI detection is very dependend on temperature contrast. It varies a ot over time. The other issue is that the Viper Suit+Helmet+Additional Plate carrier turns the player into a tank. No other suit grants that much full body protection and the ghillies are only good if you stay put on the belly. The CTRG suit would have to go too, but it's visual camo is bad on Altis anyway. It's just black at range, and adds no armor.
