Okay Icefire, please define freedom for me, and how it relates to the Iraq conflict. And no soundbites please, I want a good explanation.

Airsoft & Paintball and those in between.

www.gunsnguys.com I paid Å130 for a Tokyo Marui MP5 A5 and tactical sling. Å60 of that was the postage! Get a bulk order in and your laughing. Does anyone know a decent place that will do a G36K? I don't like the 36C that much. (British Army is laying on airsoft game soon! Will have tanks, helicopters, and airsoft mortar teams!!)

Oh you hypocrite, stupid, mindless, blind sheep....just like us Germans in 1933. right... the biggest mistake America ever made was to prop up a BS government in West Germany after WW2. Â I think rotting under the Bolsheviks would have been an appropriate fate for you Germans. Instead, we foolishly rebuilt your country. Countries don't do things out of the goodness of their own heart. The reason your country partook in the rebuilding, was because it was in the US strategic interest. A Soviet dominanted Europe would have been a barrel of laughs eh? You'd prob'ly all be dead now. So stop droning on about 'how much everyone owes us'.

Uh oh, does the fact that Bush actually got elected in this time, and is now legally serving as President unlike 2000, that he gets another 2 terms!!!!! BTW, winning the popular vote still means that half the country still don't want him. Hardly decisive. Oh well, looks like I keep getting to order stuff from the US on the cheap!

But Kerry will keep kicking and screaming to the bitter end. After the aftermath of the 2000 election, you can hardly blame them. If they had stuck at it, Gore could be President now.

Perhaps, but I don't get off by taking out my fustrations on the moderators. BTW - How can they call the election until all the votes are counted. I thought the law stated that all votes be in before its official. (Or is that just under UK law)

This is done so that vote is not decided by NYC and California alone. It's a (slight?) re-weighting of states, IMHO not so bad. What I don't get is why they don't split the electoral college votes based on the state's results? That would keep the weighting of the votes in favour of the smaller states, while really making all votes count, - not just those in the 'swing states'. This would make for much more balanced results. At the moment, if you're living in Texas as a Democrat or in California as a Republican you might just as well stay home on election day. Exactly what ive been saying , this is stupid at the moment its either 1st place or no place at all.  Oh yeah i am not so confident the whole world rallying and the anti-war rallys couldnt smoke bush out and i doubt if any scandal would get him out hes a conservative i doubt if he'd be involved in anything similiar as clinton  Well the Soviets didn't nuke Kennedy, but he took a round in the head. So then guys, who going to sign up before the draft is brought in? (Or before Bush declares himself President for life)

    Us presidential election 2004

Well I'm sure the Democrats will wait till the very end before conceding. Memories of the 2000 election will guarantee that! Many people say that Gore conceded too quickly. Edit - Don't worry if Bush gets in though. The American people have a great track record for bumping off their elected leaders, and it'll only take one scandal to get a couple of loons with rifles out and about!

I think Bordoy posted that statement without thinking it through. Or maybe they have gotten to him too!

Actually if Bush gets in, it can only mean good things for the UK economy. Now my Å can buy many, many $'s! I can't stop ordering from the US now, even though all the products are made elsewhere in the world and shipped there! Not to mention whats going to happen if the Us gets shitty with embargos again, as the EU is going to be in a position to crush them if they do so. Go Bush! So can can keep buying cheap PC equipment!

Ha, everyone would starve to death in weeks, trust me! We can't even get the assembly building finished properly, even though most of us didn't even vote for it, and we piss money away constantly. Christ, if we went independant, I'd move to England.

Did the Mail tell you that? We are having a referendum to decide that, so don't go making sweeping generalisations without any official statistics. I for one, are happy to be both. It's not a case of once we are signed up, we burn all the flags, hang the Queen, and remove Britain from all the history books. Get a grip, and stop being a victim of fear mongering.

No. There's only one Akira! But, frankly, I'll ask you: what major mobile workshops and materials to make WMDs did the US find and confirm that they served for that purpose? Nothing major. I think the mobile workshops were burnt out, and yes i can remember them on tv, not sure about the materials though. Those were not "mobile laboratorys to produce wmds". Thats a fact. Are you really that stupid that you think Iraq had wmds? Even after USAs own investigations have prooved that? Did i say Iraq had them? No. I said they had the mobile labs too, but no materials. I got a a few different types of bullets in my room, but no guns, therefore how can i use them? I hope those are not live rounds, as that would be a tad illegal in the UK. I suggest, that if they are live rounds, you take them to your local police station, and hand them in. I don't know who you got them off, but they should not be in your posession. If they are not live rounds, but empty catridges with the bullet wedged back in, then your analagy doesn't work.

Bet thats something they don't mention when you sign up! I know in the UK forces, you can opt into a scheme like this, but you a small stipend a year for doing so. They can't howver, just call you back to service. When your out, your out.

Those survey are always complete rubbish. A typical question would be... 'Did the battle of Helms Deep actually occur' People are not even going to think of Lord of the Rings, so they will answer yes if they are unsure in a historical context (ie Guess). The questions are always loaded, and then you have the people who always try to screw these things up by giving stupid answers.

I live in Virginia and I am <s>voting</s> (Im eleven) ruting for Bush and there is nothing you can do about it either. P.S. Why does everyone think Bush is evil? Have Any of you heard that Kerry is raising the tax income or whatever it's called? And I saw a vid that showed his comrades in Vietnam. And Guess What! They said he was just horrible to them. And he says he can make the whole US safe from terrorism. I personaly think that that's Immpossible. No offense to democrats and Kerry people but am I right? Oh and one other thing.... (no offense btw) with that monster slash flash vid.... do you really think kerry will stop that? (And be honest here) Btw, No Offense at all! Your eleven?! Please, step away from the politics and go out and enjoy yourself. Ordinarily I would encourage getting involved, but you have the dubious honour of being around in one of the most petty and pathetic elections I have ever seen. Forget all the ads you saw, as at your age you assume they are telling the truth. Both parties distort the truth so much its sickening. So forget all the evil-kerry propoganda you have read, and if someone tells you Bush is actually working for Satan, don't believe it either. So get off the PC, stuff the election, and go and have some fun. (BTW - Does anyone else think getting children this young involved is wrong. Politicians are so corrupt, we shouldn't let them anywhere near them)

Take it from someone who is dutch and went through the dutch schooling system, WW2 and britains part in it are very well handled and children are very aware of the sacrifices british sailors, airmen, soldiers and civilians made for their freedom. See Bordoy, you read this crap in the Mail, and take it for the truth. The report all the bad things (Or make it up), and offer it as the general reality. The Mail like to scare its readers. Everyone knows this. They know it as well, as it sells more papers. According to the Mail, Britain would today now be a barren plain, inhabited by rapists, paedophiles and asylum seekers. Hasn't happened yet, and they have been shaking their fists and shouting for decades! Try picking up a broadsheet, and reads that. these tabloids will rot your brain serioulsy. Do you like the idea of being brainwashed by a paper? Don't scoff, because it does happen. I read a paper for facts, not opinion. Why should I have someone make my mind up for me? Give me the facts and I'll interpret them as I see fit. As for the retard thing. Sun readers are retards, but Mail readers are worse. They should be smart enough to know better!

Don't make any sweeping generalisations based on the comments of one person on one forum. Â Well, you can't deny that brits are significantly more anti-EU than anybody else. Especially when it comes to mundane and irrevelant stuff like this. Indeed, basically down to the amount of retards we have that read the Sun and Daily Mail. Yes you heard me Sun and Mail readers. F*cking Retards! These are the people who dance to the agenda of the papers editor as they believe everything written in its pages as gospel. I knew a few people with the 'anti EU' crap mindset, until I actually used logic and facts to undo the damage that the media do. Bordoy, no-one is going to chain you to a Frenchman, despite what people say! Thre only problem I have with the Euro situation is the corruption, (but thats universal), and the twisted farming policies that really need sorting out.

    Us presidential election 2004

Sorry. We mailed them in. Â I take it you vote due to your dual citizenship? I wasn't aware you could do that. What I find strange is you are allowed to at all. As you live in Israel, shouldn't you only be allowed to vote for an Isaeli government, and not for a country you don't reside in? Wrong. Many countries allow dual citizenship. Both Israel and the US permit it. It has both benefits and obligations. We do file and pay taxes in the US as well, although much less than had we been residing in the US. Of course, the counterside is that Israel gobbles up our earnings much more than had we not been Israeli citizens. All of our children were born in Israel but are also full US citizens, with US issued birth certificates and passports. This was possible only because of our initial residency in the US for a non-contiguous total of 14 years since our birth (this is sufficient for one US parent). Our two oldest children also participated for the first time in this US election via absentee ballots. Rihto, that explains it a little more clearly. I see that if you do hold the dual citizenship, you still have obligations to go with it as well. (Taxes and such)

If you spent half your time living in the US I could understand, but from my experience of you over the years here, is that you live in Israel permenantly. Could you fill me in here? (BTW, if I misread your post, then ignore everything above! )

    Monster Slash!

Which is hiliarious when you consider your signature. Can you even vote yet? BTW, people who are filled with disgust from the movie, might want to read up on the 'Healthy Forests' policy Bush proposed. (Healthy = Slash down large portions, and flog the land to logging companies) Then it might all make sense.

Just bought myself a Tokyo High Grade AEG Mp5 A4 with sights and sling directly. Can't wait! Has anyone tried the Academy SA80? Was tempted, but prefer to hear a review first.

Avonlady, I'm not focusing on just one party, its the actions of both parties that disgust me. Its not a way to run a democratic election. I've seen cleaner more civilised elections held in primary schools.
