We have Churchill. I hope it can serve as the queen of the ugly beasts at least until we bring some more stuff to teh horror gallery :) -

Well you cannot play his version in this mod, but I have made BMW R75 in three config and two colors. If you send your order right now you get a free MG34 on the side car for free. -

One plus side is this way you have areas which wouldn't have been shown in any map. I see it quite unlikely we had made a specific map for e.g. Paris. Also covering air warfare side of teh conflict is easier when the map is big. -

Yes it is. The map is is unzoomed max out so that you can see all the map area, but this hides many of teh smaller cities. Generally all the towns which had some military meaning in the campaign are included like Caen, Carentan, Falaise, Bayeux and even smaller towns like Ouistreham, Villers Bocage and Carpiquet. -

Paris is not the only place where you can see historical buildings and objects. I won't tell everything...you have to find them youself :) -

These are both on the map. The French side covers roughly St.Malo in the West (or south west) all the way to Amiens-Dunkerque line in teh East. The english side of the channel covers all teh southern England from east of Bornemouth (on the channel coast). In the North direction it goes a bit past London. EDIT: What I looked at a map..Because iirc it had the island of Jersey too, the west limit is further west...more like around Bath in England. -

The test glider was ment to be just a test base for the thing. Looks like it got released with the pack. Well, you will have properly looking gliders in the next release. -

Put a plane and a glider nearby. Then put the module next to both and voila the glider is connected to the plane. -

Relax. It was just a joke (looks like a big fail). No intention to hurt anyone. To your question. Yes, it is our intension to make that there are no black people in the final version. -

To my knowledge this seems to appear only where the texture is partly transparent. I have managed to eliminate it mostly by editing the trouble texture so that the alpha values are either 0 or 255 (i.e totally transparent or opaque). This is acceptable for things like wheels but not for windows etc. Also the thing to do with all models having transparent textures is to remember sort the textures after making any changes. -

I say it definately needs more than one grave cross. Different religions have hugely different markers. Orthodox have that extra bar under the cross and jews and muslims do not use cross at all. It also looks like SS men had an iron cross looking marker (like in WW1 aircraft). Even if you had a graveyard for only one religion (like normally) you want variations. Arma has few grave crosses and stones, but more is not a bad thing. -

Looks nice. Maybe add some blood splatters on the stretcher? EDIT: Previous question? The exaggarated ragdoll effects? I don't see it worth using time on adding more blood and blown off limbs right now. -

Air force, navy personnel, french resistance, ww2 time civilians, Rommel, Montgomory, Eisenhower, ...? I made a Goliath and the control box models, but it hasn't been fully completed. There were some problems make it easily controllable by a player. -

Lot of the things requested here are there already...although some of them not yet in the alpha. Germans have the 8cm GrW34 mortar and US has the 60mm M1 mortar. Both are transportable by a group of men. We also have these already ... PIAT, S-mine 35, US 155mm 'Long Tom', US 105mm howitzer. There are naval mines too...in two sorts. AA-artillery: Allied AAA is not on the top of the list (but it is not forgotten) because Luftwaffe wasn't a big issue in Normandy. Allies have some AA anyway, like quad 50 cal, single 50 cal and 30 cal on few vehicles. Germans have 88mm and quad 20mm. -

It's part of the original big map. -
Looks really great. Is the last pic photoshopped or can you really have so much smoke in the game at the same time? (for me the game begins to drop off the smoke when you have it too much)
-
This sounds very interesting. I'm really looking forward to this. You don't happen to have any teasers for us? ;) Don't forget to model a football so that we can have a match at no mans land in christmas 1914 :p

I said fighters. I was actually thinking US army airforce, but forgot to say army. I was thinking usaaf because P-51, P-47 and P-38 were army planes. Yes Corsairs were used by teh navy and I think Bearcats might have been used in Korea too (not sure though, but the time frame matches). -

The only prop fighter US used in Korea was Mustang. There was some arguing that Thunderbolts should have been used for the ground support but they were retired or given to national guard at that time. Thunderbolt would have been more suitable for that task. Many P-38 units shifted to other planes already at the end of the WW2. -

I wonder when that was written. The time when F-84 or 86 were around P-38 was long retired.. Funny song anyway. Not heard before :) -

You know those counter rotating props can actually help you to live old and not die young when the massive torque flipped you plane into woods after you opened the throttle too soon
