  1. Good stuff just blasting from you LAxemann! Thanks for this one. :)
  2. Oh yeah i didnt mean flying. Just some effect when moving fast forward. Looks a bit weird when they move super fast with no effect. But i got no clue of these things lol. :D
  3. Thank you. Tbh i dont care if its real or not. Having to empty a mag to kill someone is just not what ARMA has been over the decade. Its more on par with battlefield and the rest which is quite annoying. So thanks for making the combat lethal again. :)
  4. Maybe done or mentioned, but "missile engines" (the effect of fire spurting) would be nice on the back of the mechs when using fast forward maybe? :)

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Nice update! Thanks Rydygier. :) Btw, what does AC stand for? I understand its related to AI.

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Rydygier, would it be hard to implement an option for eAI patrols? Like garrison and checkpoint settings we already have it would be awesome with maybe LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH eAI patrols. Really love the latest version except that theres so much enemies. :)

    Unlocked Uniforms

Stumbled upon one set ot Guerilla smocks that didnt seem to work. Playing Pilgrimage and im wearing guerilla smocks from start, but found another one and cant use it. Uniforms and civilian clothes have worked good so far though. Please test all guerilla smocks if you havent and see if there something up with them. Cheers for a great little addon. ;)

Rydygier: Do you still have version 1.75 or so? Would love to have it if you do. To me its too much enemies now and i feel the soul of the mission is lost a bit (imo of course). Techincally the mission is amazing, but atm i see enemies every direction i look and im shot at constantly. I can barely move without being attacked. As a result the performance is going down a lot as well and that removes some of the joy also. I always saw this something like that NATO and CSAT were at war at some point and NATO lost. Your brother was killed and now CSAT is patrolling the island after they won, but the war is over so there isnt as much enemy presence except in some villages, roadblocks (checkpoints) and some patrolling. You sneak in to find your brother to bring him home and its a lot of down town and solitude between the fights. And the combat were more that you attacked to get loot or sometimes attacked when startled by patrols. That felt great and different from other missions. Now it feels more like an invasion mission and im totally outnumbered in every turn. :D Its your mission mate so im not gonna tell you how to make it, but i loved it just a few patches back and would love if you had any of those left on your HD. :)

Rydygier: Was there any change on eAI choppers? Since a bunch of builds back im never chased by them. Before if i attacked eAI infantry and fought a while i usually got a chopper coming in that i had to play hide and seek with, but now ive played many hours i cant even count them, and even restarted several times, but i never come across enemey choppers that hunt me. I can see them sometimes flying really high up but they never care about me - even if i drive in a vehicle. You think either ASR AI or TPW mods could mess with this?

    Unlocked Uniforms

Pepe Hal, is it possible to include scripts from this addon into a mission?

You did it! Good job. :) Now Rydygier have to bundle it into Pilgrimage. :D

    Altis Resistance (SP)

Very good mission. Thanks for sharing. :) One issue though (like always with this), arming your pals isnt the easiest thing in the world. Best but most annoying way is to pick up gear and walk outside building or enclosure and drop it and then tell them to pick it up. Its not so cool either to maybe always place ammo boxes retard friendly as that might look stupid. I guess theres not much to do about it. Wish BIS came up with something better when it comes to arm squaddie AI's. Like if your a team leader and you walk up to a crate you can see tabs or similar that is your AI, and thus arm everyone in one go. Anyway, great mission. So far just taken care of the radio tower on the hill. 1 pal lost in that fight. On to the strip now rearmed and ready in our hawaii shirts, shorts and flip flops. :D Thanks.
  13. Just noticed that the HUD doesnt pick up on static weapon enemies. It was in "Pilgrimage" mission by Rydygier so im not sure if its because of that. But HUD picks up on all other AI in that mission so far. Just a little report. ;) Thanks for the quick updates on this awesome mod tpw.

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Lets test this bad boy. EDIT: Heh, you think you could name it Pilgrimage Civ inside the game too? I have 2 now with "Pilgrimage" and i dont know which is which. :D @Pepe Hal "I might have an idea for the creation of an addon wich would unlock all uniforms for all units - I'll give it a try this week-end!" Super! EDIT2: Tested now for ~2 hours and its working fine so far. Clothing: Yep, can use all of them. Great. TPW MODS HUD: Civilians show up on screen as markers instead of "WEST". Depending on if you play alone or with AI friend this is either a positive thing or not. I play solo and to me its great that i can see civilians with the tactical glasses. :) So it seems to work, but i guess if someone manage to make a mod or script (to be able to use any clothing) that is bundled with the mission that would be much better.

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Yes, disabling or changing TPW MODS version mid mission is not recommended. Everytime there is a new version out of that mod i restart Pilgrimage to minimize problems. Well, i have NO problems with TPW MODS as long as i restart when new versions are out. And yes, i dont know how many times i restarted this mission... But its fun enough that i dont mind - so far at least. :D @Rydygier Yeah, changing to civilian and setting as west might cause problems down the line. Maybe you could make a side version with this and let some of us test it? I could test it without addons as well and see if it works. It would be nice to be able to use all clothes. More realistic and fun that way to mix and match everything. That is after all a little bit of the charm with this mission that you can mix so much gear. :) PM me a link if you want mate and ill test it asap and report back to you.

    [SP] Insurgency generator

Thanks, seems like a nice mission. :) Question, does it have caching? Or maybe its not that kind of mission where tons of AI is spread out all over. Will test and report back.

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Was thinking about that we are not able to use any clothing we want atm. The VAS scripts let you put on every piece of clothing there is so maybe some hints in those scripts. Even if we arent able to blend with enemies i still think it would be cool if we could use any clothing we find. Feels a bit weird when you find some outfit and you arent allowed to use em. I wish i knew what to look for in the VAS scripts so i could help out, but i got no idea...

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Thanks for the update! :) Message to players with TPW MODS: I think when and if you set "air" in TPW MODS to "0" (off) you wont get helicopters in Pilgrimage. Im not 100% sure of it, but last maybe 6 times ive played (for hours on end) there wasnt a single helicopter. Before i had air "on" and had helis, and today i turned air on again and voila - helicopters. So just a heads up on that.

    Curator Presets Mod

Good job on this. :) I think the request made before "3. and finally, one where you use it on an infantry unit, and it makes them play animations (with the ability to make them loop), such as talking animation" is not such a bad idea. This has been limited to people with more "know how", and its one of those things that let you create missions that are more immersive. Seeing 2 generals talk to eachother instead of just standing there. Having a whole enemy base where some are working on a car, and some doing exercises etc etc. I think its a very cool and mission immersive function if possible for you to do. Keep up the good work. ;)

    Hidden Identity Pack V.2

@Cunico Great mod here. Makes your soldiers look kick ass. ;) Was checking through (most) headgear with tactical glasses, but it seems most or none are using the tactical ones with the little monitor on the right side? Since TPW MODS have added the fairly new addition of "HUD" where you can use those glasses to get info around you i was wondering if you sometime in the future could maybe add a few versions of your great shemags etc with a those glasses? Thanks.
  21. ***Disregard below. Seems the tactical glasses used in the mod is without the little monitor. I will bugger the creator of that mod to include the proper tac.glasses. ;)*** Great work tpw with the latest tactical glasses thingamajiggy! :) Really sits nice now down in the right corner. I was a bit sad seeing that the "hidden identity pack" addon with a whole range of very nicely made shemags etc didnt work with HUD. Im guessing its cause the creator of that mod have other classnames? He made a bunch of shemags and other headgear that also has the tactical glasses as a combo. They are added to the googles slot so you can have helmets and NVG as well separate. Wonder if there was a slight chance they could be included sometime in the future? I understand if its too much work, but that pack is pretty high quality and a very good one to really make your soldiers look awesome. :) Or maybe i should post in his thread about it? Im no coder so im not sure hehe. Link: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=24936

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Rydygier: Yeah i kind of agree with auto saves. I mean i dont like them in games in general, but in Pilgrimage i have 1 save and thats it. So i cant keep saving (at least in the esc menu there is only 1). And also, i kind of see it as a challenge in Pilgrimage to get to a church before i can save. :) Its what keeps me on my toes, and it feels pretty good. But sure, i dont like auto saves otherwise - at all. Another idea mate: Not sure how easy it is to implement. But when i played i found some preacher clothing (that i couldnt wear though) but i thought about what if you could use those clothes like common clothes and preacher dress and what not, and actually be able to bypass enemies? So if you find clothes like that then its up to you if you want to be able to just enjoy the country and go look for your brothers remains, or you can do it the standard way - up to the player. I even thought about what if you could script so when wearing clothing that is not military then you could bypass enemies, but only for a brief moment. If you hang around enemies too long they will eventually figure out your not who you portray to be. :) Maybe stupid idea. Maybe hard to implement. Just thought it wasnt completely whacko in this particular mission. But i understand using different clothing in A3 doesnt seem easy. In the campaign trailer long ago where the main guy used an enemy uniform was obviously scripted as you cant do that normally so i take it there must be some info on it (or not...).
  23. Great job on this! :) Hope you can get some help with adding a lift function built into it since this would be very cool to use as transport. Good luck!

    [SP] Pilgrimage

Found myself again not able to use NATO uniforms in the new version. I removed my guerilla smocks and hovered the mouse over the empty uniform slot and it says "guerilla smocks". Pretty weird. Probably the game acting up, but maybe could give you a hint. EDIT: Hah, i found a UK uniform and that i could use. I was british after all. :) Btw, about finding hints (crossing off churches). When we search a church we get a "checkpoint" save, but when we are lucky to get a hint and get a bunch of churches crossed off around us we get a disadvantage since its not saving. I find myself skipping clues and talking to civilians becuase of this. If i just searched a church and i find a clue or civilian right after, then i usually check it, but not after maybe playing for an hour fighting off 3 enemy squads and i have looted top gear and sold a lot and have a bunch of cash, and then i use a clue and have miles to go through hostile country to get another save. I love challenge, but it feels a bit weird if you know what i mean. That searching a church saves the mission, but crossing off 10 of them by being lucky you get a disadvantage as it doesnt save. I manage anyway and it wont stop me from playing this excellent mission. Just throwing out my thoughts. I was even the guy that thought a save is good when taking over a hidden camp, remember. :D 1.75 is really nice. Keep it up!
