  2. Thats a really good idea but unfortunately the gloves have to be part of the uniform model so this wont be possible. A workaround is to make the gloves as headgear but then u cant have proper headgear at the same time. No, Foxhound is the name of our group. I would really like to create those uniform patterns but I just dont have enough time right now. I did have bigger plans for the mod but had to release as is due to lack of time and photoshop experience. Maybe in the future. On the other hand if ppl want to create the content such as those pictured above then I would gladly update the mod to suit. Finding the time to do configs is not a problem, but texturing is not my strong point. Getting the right shade of white across the different bits of gear for this mod took waaaay longer than it should have lol.

    I was under the impression that if you killed the group leader within 30 seconds then they would not share the information with other groups.
  4. @Original Foxhound - Thanks for the Armaholic link This mod is completely fictional. I know RHS is focused on realistic gear and factions but I did ask permission and they are fine with it. @Everyone else - Cheers for the positive feedback, makes it all worth it!

    FAQ Q: Should I install this mod on servers, clients, both ? What about headless clients ? A: Always install it on servers and headless clients. Having it installed on clients is required if you are running AI groups commanded by clients or use Zeus. I generally recommend having it installed everywhere. if your AI are always local to the server then you dont need to run it anywhere else, otherwise run it on all clients (Zeus spawned AI are local to the Zeus machine)

    @RHS Team - The changelog states that gorka wound textures were added or fixed but I cant seem to get them to appear on the unit? Posting in here instead of creating a ticket as the the issue was apparently fixed... Same for anyone else or is it my end? Cheers!

    Difficulty Overhaul

    Forced difficulty is great! One question and sorry if I have missed it in the thread, it seems like all the talk is focussed on the difficulty presets but I havent seen much discussion on the AI skill. Can someone please clarify the new way (if it is new) of defining AI skill and accuracy within a custom difficulty preset. The only info ive seen are the 3 AI presets and custom where you define the values as was the case before the difficulty overhaul. Is this still the case or has it changed along with everything else?     Is it because they are all getting in at once and the selected seat gets stolen resulting in the player freezing? Maybe try 1 by 1 and see if it happens.

    It is possible to select an object (or multiple) while editing a mission in order to execute code on them.     Robalo - a request if i may. Remeber that code you gave me to check the unit isKindOf in conjunction with typeOf? Thats been working like a charm, can you please put that in by default? If there are no bad repurcussions for normal use of course. Will save me having to change it manually after ASR updates. I can get the code for you later if needed. On my phone right now.
  13. No dont think so. Last night it didnt happen at all. The squad leaders were different to last time so it seems to affect some players more than others.
  14. @Nkey, im reporting a bug that has been around for a while now. Beforehand it was very rare but now we find it in every mission multiple times. When talking on the long range radio sometimes the transmission is not heard. The sound effects of radio are heard but not the players voice. We have become so used to it now that when we hear the sfx but no voice we reply with 'transmission not heard' so that the other player can say it again. A few months ago it was fine as it would happen maybe once per mission. But now it happens almost every second transmission. Also it seems to happen to some players more than others. Let me know if there is anything we can do to help test.

    Girls in bikinis firing guns? Hmm thats a good idea for a mod... Heres a link to the dev branch discussion about the new commands https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/189479-ai-suppress-command/#entry3001567 At first glance it looks like its to be mainly used to command ai team mates. Hopefully enemy ai can make use of it too.

It also checks all the paths when packing and will report if broken, even paths to default a3 content (u need to run the a3p exe which will unpack the entire a3 addons dir onto p drive, for that to work) Took me a while to get my head around it but now it works really well. $35 per year is nothing for the time youll save in the long run imo

    robalo in case you are not aware, BIS will be adding 'commandSuppressiveFire' and 'doSuppressiveFire'. this has the potential to completely change firefights, do you intend on playing around with it and integrating into ASR?

    @rhs team, ive always thought that A3 is in need of some staunch snow camo opfor units such as the enemy in MGS1. Nothing would fit the bill better than a white version of the gorka uniform with balaclavas. So im asking permission to do a retexture mod of the gorka uniforms, a few helmets and vests. Would be happy to pass the end result over to you so you can make sure its up to standard, would also put rhs as authors if required (or maybe you dont want that as these units would be fictional?) Anyway, hope thats all good and if so please list any other requirements/ restrictions. Othwise if you dont feel comfortable giving permission for this then that is fine also. Cheers

    Arma 3 Why you no respawn button!

    Eden has the respawn button option but as u say it might not be active in SP. Otherwise its not hard to type 'player setdamage 1' in the devug console.
  23. Simple problem with complicated solution. The problem is locality. Until you understand how that works stuff like this will be a real pain for you. Addaction is local to the player that uses it meaning the script will run only for him. If things need to happen on the server or other clients you need to make use of 'remoteexec' where it applies. On my phone right now so cant give examples. Back home in a couple of days... The second and major problem is that you are using sqs both in your 2nd option of executing the code and also inside the camera script. Sqs is dead so avoid using it. ~ and ? Should not be in the camera script and delete the ; comment lines. U also need ; at the end of each line. Change ~10 to sleep 10; etc. The camera scenes that you are copying are from camera.sqs which is fine but u need to change the format to sqf by doing what i said above.
  24. Initserver.sqf and init.sf are event scripts in your mission root that fire automatically at mission start. If u dont have the one needed then u need tto create it
