Hello All, I'm after a way to encripting my missions that the game can still read. It was possible with OFP. So is it possible with Arma too ?. Thank You!!

To clear the air about a few things, I am not wanting to use this to "lockdown" my mission and keep others from viewing the scripting source for selfish reasons. I, as well as many of you all who are reading this, do unPBO mission files to learn the inner workings of some very cool scripting workarounds. For those who have played GR with my group, they might be cluing in at this point as to what +SD is brewing. However, I'm not going to announce anything official to keep the furor down so we can concentrate on our primary objectives. I guarantee, however, that if we can successfully keep people from viewing the "secrets" of the missions (I guess the MORE important part here is keeping people from viewing where enemy tangos are and their movement and conditions of presence), that the community will be better off for our efforts. Thanks for the responses so far... EDIT Last thing i'd hate is if everyone did encript there mission in some way to stop others. And to change some ones mission to please them selfs is just wrong. learn of it take notes but to edit it to there needs HELL NO.

Still does it in Direct or wav as it changes wav the game does it's self. BUT turning other volumes down and music high works 90%. I hate music in games lol..... Thanks for your replys

Hello, Ever since the 1.05 patch this game has been a pain with other voice comms were if you turn the sound down in game it turns teamspeak \ Ventrillo down to. This is so VERY annoying

Left: Rot Left Right: Rot Right Up: Rot Up Down: Rot Down These set lie this allows you to lead your head insted of your body. Lean right -rz Lean Left +rz I don't use the rest like zoom. EDIT: There's allso a little deadzone too.

It's NOT compatable with Sprocket version.

Ok, go though the whole thing again and game works perfect for me again. Installed game ( v1.02 ) Arma version 1.02 6th-ArmA-1.02_CZECH_TO_ENG.exe only ( Make a backup): game crashed within 5 minutes Tryed to install Starforce: Failed due to not having any drivers installed. Uninstalled 6th-ArmA-1.02_CZECH_TO_ENG.exe by copy contents from PatchWise.bak folder to the arma folder. Installed CZ patch 1.02 ( DVD Version ): Got 2 errors select ignore for both if it happens to you. ( game should not run at this time ) Install patch again select Online version: Got 2 errors select ignore for both if it happens to you. Install 6th-ArmA-1.02_CZECH_TO_ENG.exe again... Play game.. Don't forget to backup your profile.. Example: D:\Documents and Settings\Your Account\My Documents\ArmA Other Profiles\ EDIT: at this time game running great for the last 45 mins.

any one else tried this with success? Rock, have you had any crashes? I have crashes still. But way far from as much as i used to get. Was getting crashes before with in a hour but most within 5-15 mins. Now it seems if it going crash it's about 30mins+. 1st time i did this though it never crashed at all, Maybe the installer is faulty too ?.

You tryed loging onto the server ?. Save it as Armademo.bat Put both files on your dedicated server in the Arma folder then run the .bat file.. Remember to change the password in the server.cfg file and the server name etc.

Yes i know. but solved my crashes in MP games by having Starforce installed. Still no crashes 3 hours later and i was getting them from 5mins to 1hour it surly crash. Now it don't works for me till softwrap works correctly . Other thing i don't think Softwrap is to good with XP x64.. I'll try that if i ever need to reinstall game. Well it gotta beat installing patches over patches right :P.. Just saying whot i found is all not my fault it works for me lol.....

Razor mice are fully programable to keyboard though the Razor drivers \ software. And are for left and right handed people.

I find your information and opinions so enlightening. You've been here how long? I've been playing OFP for FIVE (5) years, dated graphics and all. I'll wait till it's ready. In 1 month you can run along and get something "more up to date". I'll be playing AA until game 2 comes out. AND, learning more about it everytime I play it or make a mission. Well i agree to some point that if you delay some thing you may lose out. BUT this is OFP i'm fair sure they will not lose out simply it's not your tipical game.

Hi all, About a week ago i decided to start building my own mission but have a few problems. How would i go about in getting a heli to pick up some one when you rescue each one of them ?. And how would i make the pilot and heli invisable. Other problem is there's 3 trucks that need recovering too. How would i get these show up as compleated in the Objectives ? There is 3 people i need to do this for. Thank You

Well added those to lines to a trigger BUT nothing spawns that i know of. Do i need to change this getMarkerPos "tankFactory" to a grid referance or some thing ?. Allso if possible with people in the tank with wp's. All i am trying to do is remove stuff till a player gets to a point to save bandwidth. Thanks for your help

Hello, I'm trying to find a spawn script that will trigger people \ tanks. So when some one moves into the trigger area the people will spawn in were you need them. And it needs to be able to work in MP. Thank You

Well personly i think reloading should stay how it is in OFP. This way makes you think more on whot your doing. Much better tactics and gameplay.
