Yeah you got it, I don't see the edges of the floor/wall. Anyways it's not that critical, if you can't find it I'll live with the addon. And anyways keep up the good work! It's definitely has a potential.

Hey Macser. What I meant is that I sit down in the cargo and point "my" head away from the gunners/drivers positions. There in the back of the vehicle it's kind of hard to tell where the floor begins and the "wall" ends. It's nothing serious on gameplay but ruins the immersion a bit.

Hey checked the Stryker and it's great. Drives well, shoots well. 3 things I didn't like though: 1)The Radio chatter effect (I didn't use ECP) is heard outside the Stryker pointing to it's location. 2)On a runway the bottom of the wheels was inside the ground. Maybe it's an Island problem I don't know. 3)On the back of the interior - It's just white making it hard to distinguish the floor and the back of the vehicle.

To kind of sum up the written above. If you just got OFP and you just want it to look better and play better, FFSX+DxDLL. If your'e looking for some specific theme look for the corresponding MOD, your'e bound to find one for almoust any setting.

Hey about the VME mod. I played all of it's versions an while the 2.01b is great, I remember TB saying that it would cause too much lag to be included. Â That's one of the reasons I'm on V3.0 right now.

Voted Yes. As soon as I get a better system I'll buy or download it. The only really bad thing in ArmA was the campaign as I understand. In QG it seems to be addressed.

Thanks to all who answered my questions. I guess I should buy ArmA gold when I'll have a good machine, but restrain myself from playing the original campaign. Well there's got to be a bad campaign in every game I guess. Like "Red Hammer" in was in OFP.

OK guys I have a question. Is it worthwhile to buy the ArmA gold edition, now after QG is out? I should get a new rig in the near future, but I thought perhaps I should wait for ArmA 2? I'm putting it here because I want the opinions of people who played both ArmA and QG. Is QG makes it worthwhile?

Wow never noticed the political forums here. Better late than never I guess. Edit- An introduction maybe. I'm a student in Israel, I study for a B.A in economics and business management in Ariel. Ariel is a large settelment located in Samaria (West bank's northern part). It has about 40,000 people and Israel's largest college, which is moving towards university status. Well, that sums up my political views, I believe. Anyway to continue the last post here about Africa, you can't really make order in such a country without committing war crimes yourself. That's because it's almost impossible to make the distinction between civilians and hostiles. You attack a rebel base and kill civilians, because they are civilians and even kids with Ak's. And they have a different mentality. Coming into a society at war trying to "jump" them to western democracy... You'll have the same luck as if you tried to do that to the Vikings, and that's not a joke. Examples - Iraq and Russia when it tried to "jump" itself in the 1990's.

OK a small issue. The resistance AT specialist gets killed firing. BUT it does not happen on the light config.

It will be a great addition to any addon folder. A question about the Armour though. We all heard from the news that the Stryker can be vulnerable to even the RPG-7. How is this modeled ingame and what difference the slat armor will make?

Hey since this topic is alive, I'll have a question- What do I do with the AI seeing me trough the trees issue. Me and an AI squad trade fire with Hizzballa in the forests but I'm the only one who can't see them, and they see me too good...

I'll try to help - Download the islands and the texture bug will be gone. Lobo fighting positions exists in my editor. Guess they come with the Island as well.

As stated above OFP isn't an action game. Good action is your reward for extensive planning and scouting. In any case if you do get into to it, go to www.OFP.info. From there you can download almost every mod/addon ever created. The advantage of OFP is the amazing amount of quality community content. You can get anything you want: Chinese army, Swedish army, 2 Russian mods (Orcs/RHS), Middle East (Lost Brothers Mod), US, African (Tonal) - you name it. In no other game can you have the world's army's in your fingertips. And that's besides mods meant to enhance the game, such as the popular FFSX in the nearby thread. If this sounds as a worthwhile reward for a game in which rushing forward gets you killed, go for it.

Hey sorry for bringing out an old topic, but I'm working on a mission and have some questions. 1) The Lobo objects in the editor they come in the @Lobo folder? Not from any Mapfact addon or something? 2) While rearanging my HD I lost all of the Lobo missions. (Only copied the @Lobo folder ) If anyone has them? even if it's just the paradrop and CoC example missions will do. Don't want to re-download for 2 small files.

I disagree, think about the anti-air fire applications. You will be able to avoid both guns and missiles, as they will move slower than you. So the aircraft becomes a nearly invincible king of the battlefield. As opposed to combined arms etc.. What we do need is an AI capable of targeting infantry. Say a cluster bomb in the way of a 2/3 squad infantry charge.
