I would choose my island based on the available buildings as making new buildings plus an island would be very hard work.

sometimes when you have too many colors in a cell u will get wierd things like this, check your layers png files and look for that tile, then check to see if theres any "brown" colors, Brown means u have too many colors max is 6

make sure you paint your runways on the sat image or they will fade at a distance, looking really nice liking the dense forests -

Australia is 40km x 40km and the only advice I can offer is dont do it LOL, Bushlurker is on the money mate go smaller- 3 replies

Buldozer brush doesn't actually modify my heightmap in TB

Don't use the rebuild button it will default your island back to the original height values. Use the brush in bulldozer to smooth or alter terrain heights then save it in TB that all you need to do. -
If you save the mask as a 16bit BMP rather than a 24bit this will happen

dont use those russian addons they are very buggy, never finished and were full of holes.

there's a problem with the Xcam ponds you cannot them close together or they will disappear, dont know why

I'd like to know more regarding the ambient sounds on a custom island. I have np's getting the sounds working i.e bird sounds what I'd like to know is what the numbers beside the samples do. I add random samples but the game only seems to use the first in the list. remove the grass around the edges of the embankment and replace with sand, the foam wont be as visable

I'll be running through some basic stuff next stream Road creation and assigning custom road textures plus adding dust Clutter creation

Just a couple of observations nothing major , the factory seems to have green sat image bleeding into the area where the tanks are inside the fence, also the trees look to be planted in a sandy area. Lastly I try to put a shoulder on the roads with maybe sand or dirt that way they look more realistic. Overall looking really nice

Third party add ons don't go in a3 folder put them in the root of p drive

A2 bridges work fine, I have many different types in Australia you can also download the unbinarized models and customize them to suit
