For each 'segmented' animation, you would have to make a dying animation from that pose. It would be quite painful for the animator to make an update pack such as this. Good luck to whoever decides to take this on. Anton

I'll host it until mirrors pop up. Catch me on messanger. Anton

Here's my next question: How complicated do you guys get with the IK skeletons? Do you guys use joint limits, or just the sample scene that came with teaCup's kit? Anton

When you guys make animations, which do you prefer, as far as ease of use compared with smoothness of finished product goes? Anton

Createvertexbuffer (static, seperate) failed...

Thanks for the advice, but after two reinstalls, it just went away...If it happens again, I'll post once more. Anton -
Createvertexbuffer (static, seperate) failed...

Yea, -nomap wasn't the problem. I've always had that in my shortcut. I ran the DirectDraw and Direct3D test in dxdiag. No problems there either. The thing that gets me is that I've been playing flashpoint for a while on this machine. The last thing I did before getting the error was quit after playing the Red Hammer campaign. It just came out of nowhere. I can even play more graphically intense games still. Mister Frag, do you know what the error message means exactly? Anton -

Sadly, that hasn't done anything. Is there any more info that I can give that might help with the solution? Anton -
This is my fourth re-install, and it's becoming upsetting that I can't play my favourite game! Perhaps someone can help me out. My problem: -Whenever I try to launch operation flashpoint, it loads title images, and then exits the game and says this message: CreateVertexBuffer (static, seperate) failed 8876017c - out of memory? As I said earlier, this is off a fresh install of OFP. It's the GOTY edition, and I've upgraded to 1.96. I remember reading somewhere that this problem was supposed to be taken out in an earlier patch. My system: -AMD 1.2 gig thunderbird processor -512mb RAM -Geforce2 32mb video card If anyone has the solution to my problem, I would love to hear it! Â Anton

Any sort of weaponry, tanks, aircraft, building, etc, that could be in Iraq, East or West...that's what I'm looking for. Also, some information might be useful to, if anyone has a few links handy. Things like which units are there, and whatnot. Anything of the sort would be much appreciated! Thank you! Anton

I tried loading up an old mission, and I got this message: No entry 'config.bin/CfgVehicles.cAX21'. Anyone have any idea where this can be from? I opened up the mission.sqm, and these are the addons in it. Dunno what could be missing. addOns[]= { "6G30", "Bizon" Any help would be awesome! Anton EDIT: Solved it...missing Editor Addon, or Editor Upgrade

It actually looks pretty similar to me. Personally, I like Wilco's better. Don't know why. Some of Hunter's anims are just...not up to par. There are a lot of things that could be fixed with a bit more effort, and a lot of his work is just pre-emptive releases. Plus, Wilco's look a lot cooler! Anton

I was reviewing a mission which included a crap load of armour...I couldn't handle all of them in a tank by myself, as a couple of heli's took out everyone else in my squad, so I hopped out, and began moving down RPG infantry to grap their launchers. I routinely began taking out tanks and infantry as I came across them. It was inevitable that I'd eventually get hit by a stray bullet, and there was no med tent anywhere, so I had to be extra careful. As I had aimed my RPG launcher at 1 of 2 T-90's, I heard footsteps behind me. I rotated and saw a machine gunner, aiming straight at me, as I was aiming my launcher at him. I swear to you, I saw him hesitate, and he didn't shoot at me. I figured that I would be dead anyway, so I took the shot, and blew him to kingdome come. ...and I survived. Anton
