i had that flashing problem ... it happens when you look at the sun .... it got better when i increased my resolution to max 2500 x 1600 ... it went away when i added the " -nosplash to the properties

I cannot say that I know much about computers but I also have a Logitech mouse MX500. I found that I also had problems with the scroll middle button. I solved it by uninstalling the software that comes with the product.

O F pref.'s & cpu benchmark result Recommended tuning suggestions & cpu  # I am interested in who has and how did they get the highest cpu benchmark result. Please dont post unless you achieved at least a 10% higher result than the last post. What I have said before is that I want a patch that adds a new command. I walk up to a body or an ammo truck,..., my display says "take m16, take m16 mag". I want that but in addition I want "inventory" which would bring up an inaccessible list of the contents without regards to what are my currently held weapons,..., example: Â "10 x grenade, 10 x hand grenade, 10 x sddrag mag, 10 x m16 mag, 2 x law launcher,..., etc."

I cant fly worth a s***. Kar, cant you write a game which has no aircraft production and is set in close, known-base-start quarters. Such a game type would quickly lower the total game time from 6hrs+ to some more reasonable time length.

Ok, thx AVON but that didn't answer my major questions. What I ment was the scores shown in the main menu which have been added in RES,..., the ones on the same page as the summary of general classes of things destroyed: civil, armor, etc. From what I can see these scores are somewhat indepedant from the point totals and from the red crosses given on the end of mission debreifing page

Again I ask, has anybody got the answers concerning scoring,...,search yielded no results.

Next, has a solution to the origin of the "modified config" message on MP been discovered yet? I ask this question for those of us who could not have changed it since we dont know how to do so.

My question is this: Given the enormous number of patches since CWC, I have decided to begin the single player missions again. Why? Since Res came out there is now an issue of points scored per mission shown in main mission menu. Example: Flashpoint 4 Combined Arms 3 Camping 4 Alert 1 My questions are: (1) Does playing again on Veteran allow higher scores? (2) What scores are possible (4 max always)? (3) How scored? (4) Someone post the best for all missions in CWC, RH, and RES under patch ver. 1.90 (5) What are the circles or red crosses in the end mission briefing and how are they related to the scores (6) This last question is slightly off topic, I cannot see a way to increase my score in Alert above a 1.
