I wonder how many different skins there will be for the characters in the game, hope not to many of the soldiers will look the same.

That's something new So the German preview was probably wrong. Looks like the buildings will be 'entrable' after all. I don`t think there has ever been an issue if buildings are to be entered or not, it is just about the sheer number of them. As in All-Most-Some of them.

Creatures? Â OPS sorry about that. . Anyway the game might have been cancelled for all I know

What is the name of the game that the PEOPLE who made IL-2 Sturmovik is working on ? The eastern-front WWII game, it was delayed at least once I think but haven`t heard anything more from them. And of course Enemy in Sight, looks very interesting from the little info and screens we have, though IS is never huge on the PR thats for sure. Atari is the publisher of it though I think.

Well when he mentiones the new 6 megapixel camera he also says it has got a video option, so that means we`ll soon have a small teaser video in my book. Since it is a camera (memory card) though the video will most likely be a small teaser indeed. At least that is what I think.

For me it is of course first and foremost Armed Assault, though there are a few other games as well that I find interesting. One of them is the next Hitman game titled "Hitman : Bloodmoney" and is actually due near the end of the month, looks like a nice SP and I have played some of the others in the series. Alan Wake as mentioned should be another one, though I heard that it might not be on E3 couse they rather spend their time working on the game, not sure though. Crysis is interesting as well, along with all the other goodies that comes out of nowhere. Oh and before I forget "Test drive : Unlimited" also looks like alot of fun unless it turns out to be to arcadish.

Well BF:Vietnam wasn`t really that hard, I think it was quite easy, as in to easy to fly choppers there. An option would be nice though so that side of the game doesn`t get neglected by gamers in general.

Liked the movie, but with the quality being as poor as it was it was in terms of graphics hard to say anything at all. I just wait in hope for a AA video from E3, and maybe a game 2 snip as well.

I`m quite sure I will play this one, in the same way I will support BIS I will also support Crytek. Farcry really surprised me when it was released and I was more impressed by it then DOOM3 which came later on as a comparison. It looks like it will be the game with the best available graphics (to my knowledge) if they keep the release on track. For me it will be ok if the replayability is not that great as I will appriciate the game for taking graphics to a new level.

Are there any screens where characters use "leaning" like around a corner to peek...or is it not part of the game ?
-
That is a very interesting sentence, I`ll memorize it so I can impress people by saying it 10 times really fast Anyway I like the pictures alot, just makes the wait a little bit harder

In OPF CWC I believe you can see the explosion before you hear the sound, very cool too send a tankshell into a valley
-
Don`t know if this is mentioned, but I want a bolt-action rifle with realistic reload animations. BF2 actually pulls this one off quite well in terms of the M24.

Thanks for the article scans, looks out to be really promising. I have alot higher hopes now for Arma then I had before I must say and the online part sounds very good and so does the COOP (campaign) feature. Another thing though is that the last line in the article hints that Game2 is still has some time left in development, which I guess I "feared" already. But from the look of things I think Arma might please me for a long time
-
If AA would indeed be "Game2" I think it would be for the reasons that: - They saw that the supossed graphics quality of AA would not cut it so they decided to bring in alot of Game2 features - They also saw that upon doing that they, could move the "framework" of Game2 into a third game which will be Dx10 and....well released in like 2 years time ++

I don`t know if a link to this video has been posted yet My Webpage

Delayed 4 months from when ? You mean like from summer to late fall\early winter
-
Yeah I know tried to tell that to people like two days ago but I guess they get sucked up in a negative cycle as soon as something doesn`t seem to appeal to them My Webpage

I voted for the option to turn it off, then it will only add something new anyway and no one has the right to complain. Though I would be surprised if there actually is no option to turn it off.
-
Well DL the video first and then watching it did leave me with some concernes, mainly the AI and the animations. Though as it has been confirmed that it is old and not official I assume it might have been a "rough cut" to test some of the new features. In that sence I just wait for an official video and "pretend" I didn`t see this one
-
I like the new info alot and on the screen displaying the map it says "Note : at a later stage you can switch to another supporting units and play as sniper or tankgunner" I mean it says CAN not MUST, as far as I enterpret that you can still just finish the mission with one character though if you wish you can get some added gameplay by suplementing it with two more characters. If it is indeed this way then it just adds something to the people who would like to use it while not really changing anything at all for the ones that don`t.

That has to be one of the most stupid things I have ever read on these boards...seriously this entire debate has sprung out from mainly ONE word in a interview. If it was a wide and well written preview close to release ok I admit I could understand but now I really don`t at this point what all the fuzz is about. -

This is really strange I think that so many starts to actually complain and whine about the game and the "mainstream" comment. They already stated that we will still have the more "hardcore" settings just as in OPF, and other players will be drawn to the series and to the MP by the other "easier" options. Besides that it ain`t really harder then to have it as server settings and all people are happy. Another thing is that we might have players that scale their game as their skills increase and they want more realism and immersion from the game. I have in my time since OPF came out read comments that players bought the game, it looked nice but it was to realistic and hard so they left it. Now if you have other alternatives to the way one can approach the game I see that more people (that initially want to play the game) will actually stay with it just because it is more scalable in terms of playability. It is as I see it a very good way to get a good stable and long lasting online MP environment established. Many here from the community would be happy as it is ALL HARDCORE realism, which is totally cool with me couse I want it too, but then yet again I think BIS would also appriciate the fact that the online MP community would be like uhm 2-3 times as big (potentially) with a more "open" game as in terms of difficulty....I mean hardcore players would still play on "hardcore" servers anyway. -

As long as the "hardcore" vet mode is still there then it is ok in my opinion. Should at least open more possibilities and get more sales and more people to play MP as well. And as for the unit changing it is just like a merging of the seperate classes\characters we played in OPF, though now within one mission....at least that is how I understand it.
