Well I`m going to buy a new computer, but I don`t want to buy a " top of the line " since I`m a student and I won`t have that much time to play games....so I`m planing to get something like a 1.43 ghz Amd and 512mb with MAYBE a gf4 4200 128mb...my question is since I don`t know that much about comps...what will be the bottleneck and the 1rst component I have to upgrade among these 3 , and how long do you think I can handle games without having to think about upgrading ? Thanks

I used to compete before with 22 cal and 10m airpistol, but I haven`t now for 7 years....I should start again sometime though and I will....I shot most with airpistol where I became the best in my town in my age class when I was 15 :=)

I`ve checked many other forums for this one and the opinions seem to be quite positive..I just wonder what you guys think. ( I can`t play it because of my Kyro 2 card which isn`t supported for now )

For me both ghost recon and desert siege was worth the money, but yet again I`m a RS buff and I really wanted to get my hands on the latest redstorm\ubi games..and overall I was happy with them...the graphics and the sound was very nice and the maps was just big enough imo ( you only got a max of 6 men so...) I saw soldier of fortune 2 at a friends house because I didn`t like the first one, but since it got some good reviews I would consider trying it out, but I won`t it`s just run and gun.., but on the other hand I do play MOH both single and multiplayer....will only play singleplayer once though but I like the multiplayer...I usually never play those games but I need something to play while I wait for " Battlefield 1942 " , " Raven shield " and ( H&D2 ) I got really high hopes for the last two :=) and I basically don`t play that much OPF online because it didn`t prove out to support as many players as I hoped for without lag....though OPF coop without lag is a blast.....and of course a little of topic I`ve almost given up playing RS online because of the ***** 3rd person view..... I HATE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

well as I sais in my other post I can`t get it to work, but I will give the game a chance when it comes out. I did read somewhere that the sp demo version is v1.0 and that the mp beta is v1.7, so I wouldn`t trash it yet anyway, but of course I guess it won`t beat opf for me either but at least it`s a new addition for a potensially good multiplayer game.. and since I play MOH as well this seems to be down the line though for the love of god I hope the stalingrad level is better then the one in MOH ( hahaha )...as long as it will have stable multiplayer then I`d be happy.

Nah I tried it..I made a map with 11 players 1 as player and the rest as playable then I made the markers with the repawn ( I only write it in the text file ) and then I saved it, made the description file put it in the mission name folder and then entered the map and saved it as a mpmission. I don`t think I did anything wrong...well abviously since it ain`t working but I don`t know what ?

I`m going to make a mission with a squad where you start playing as the leader...however I wonder how I can make the mission so I will respawn into the other survivours of my squad in turn as my players die...any help on this one ?

hm it`s not working I made a map on desert island which I exported as a multiplayer mission and I made the text file which I put in user\username\mpmissions I made the mission so I started as the officer and I made 8 other soldiers as "playable" I can`t figure out what I did wrong ?

well forgive me my ignoranse ( I really havent played with the editor that much ) but how do I get access to the description file...do I make it myself ?
