    -Fboat (Barracuda Gunboat)

    -EC_KL420 Submarine

    -TMCM (Biker/motorcycle addon that we helped on)

    -TAAB (buildings/docks/bunkers that went on the water, this needs to be updated with new textures)

    -Waterpipe addon (the kind you smoke with)  wink_o.gif  

    -Kalighat Island

    Hmmmm... that's all I can think of.  I'll have to look again, it's been awhile!

  2. Ok, I took out the campaign that comes with the mod and put the new one in. Started over and got to the area with the MG and we killed some guys and lost 2 of our own. Blew the cache and another guy died and I was in charge. Ran all the way to FB Dolly and nothing happened when we got there.

    So I once again killed my squad, got the message that I was alone, hit continue and CTD with the error "Error in campaign Structure".


  3. Ok, I finally got it all d-loaded without any corrupted files.  I played the first mission and here's my feedback:

    1.  Nice atmosphere. (except the monkey sounds, they started getting kinda annoying lol)

    2.  It felt kinda strange walking on the path instead of in cover, I felt exposed there.

    3.  At Position 070213 we killed 2 charlies at the huts and 2 more came running up a bit later and we killed them, then we just sat there for a LONG time with nothing happening...

    Then I got bored and killed everyone in my squad and the mission failed.  I hit continue and it CTD'd with the error:  "Error in campaign structure".  

    D'oh!

    P.S. I just d/loaded the campaign yesterday, so it should have been the correct version. Also nothing happened to the squad at all until we got to the huts, no fighting up to that point.


  4. Hi Hawkins, thanks for uploading that stuff. Well I tried playing it and on the briefing screen I got:

    error loading haw_w\haw_vityp56.p3d

    And when I tried playing it the weapons were invisible and when I hit the aim button (iron sights I think?) I spun around in circles! (I almost puked, had been drinking!wink_o.gif lol j/k

    Did another of the files get corrupted on the d/l or somethin?

    P.S. Is there any way you can send me the HAW_veh addon? For some reason when I downloaded everything that file was corrupt and I don't want to have to re-download everything just for that file.

    Thanks man!  Glad you liked it.  That's funny about you being used to jungle missions, I can see that.  Yeah I just made them alert because it seems to fit the idea I had for the mission.  lol (BTW I'm going to download the addons for your mission and test it out when I get the chance)

    I forgot to add a silenced pistol but I got to thinking about it and the thing is I don't want people going into this in a "stealthy" manner.  I planned this mission for fast and furious, guns blazing & stuff blowin up!  pistols.gif  biggrin_o.gif

    I've got the outro done and it's in this version I'm about to post right now!

    LMAO, well I just couldn't make myself add barrels for no reason whatsoever.  It is pretty cool how they react to the mass of the scud launcher though.  Thanks for the suggestion but I think I'll leave them out of this mission.  However, I have a sequel in the works that I might be able to use this idea in and make it go with the plot!   biggrin_o.gif


  8. Thanks Walter, glad we fixed that intro. No prob on the weapons, I thought the same thing.

    I don't know about the SMAW's, I wonder if they suck like that in real life too lol.

    Include a heap of barrels hmm? Perhaps I can do this. Is there anything you can think up that would allow me to put them in there and make a realistic reason for them to be there?

    Ok but whats the fix? All of the released RHS weapons packs don't have the "class name" {therhsapack} and the file names are RHS_Weapons.pbo.

    I just had to remove the "weapons.pbo" file from my addons folder and it got rid of that "therhsakpack" addon requirement in the mission. smile_o.gif

    *OFP V1.96, or at least V1.91

    Fixes:

    1.  Updated Readme to reflect the exact addons I used, including version numbers.

    2.  Fixed therhsakpack error message.

    3.  Removed JAM requirements.

    4.  Altered intro where the soldier is looking through the binoculars by moving the camera in front of him a bit more. (let me know if this fixes it Walter... it's hard to fix something that I can't recreate)

    5.  Added Binocs and NVG's to the starting weapons loadout.

    Things I didn't change because I think they are fine:

    1.  The weapon choices.  The ones that are not desert don't come in desert as far as I could tell.  But I like having them available so I left them in there.  Also I don't want desert and non desert versions of ALL the weapons available.. it would just look messy in my opinion.

  11. Thanks Walter, I found the culprit!  This may have come from back in the day when I made missions for them and had access to stuff before they released it.

    FYI for anyone else that may have this problem and find it in a search:

  12. Just delete "thersakpack" line from the .sqs addons class (see the first quote from Walter_E_Kurtz's post) and you'll be fine.

    This mission is, as was your intention, a replica of "Steal a car" mission, it's a bit tougher regarding on a presence of the armor and a bigger number of enemy solders, but that pretty much sums it up. Good mission, was fun to play.

    Thanks but I did that and it just shows back up! Maybe my OFP is having issues... I haven't played it in quite awhile. Or maybe I have some addon that's conflicting with another one.

    This is a very strange problem.  I've just worked on it for awhile and I got it to where the addon doesn't show up in the .sqm... until I export the mission!  It's really starting to be a pain in the neck.

    is not found in a search on these forums nor the entire internet!  I have no addon with a name anywhere near it and I am in the process of removing all addons other than those needed for this mission to see if that will fix it.  If that doesn't fix it I'm going to just nuke OFP and be done with it.   mad_o.gif    tounge2.gif

    (I even tried deleting everything in the mission, one at a time [i even deleted the markers] until I got down to a normal West soldier and that was it, in the mission and the intro... then when I exported it the "therhsakpack", came up again.)   banghead.gif

    2.  See above answer, workin on it... Any suggestions anyone may have would be grand.

    3.  Because I use desert soldiers in the mission.  Their color scheme works better with Malden.

    4.  In his body?  I put the camera in front of him...  I've never had this happen.  I guess I could move the camera further down the hill away from him or delete him.

    I've been away for a very long time, but I still like following mentions of our Submarine project from time to time.    smile_o.gif

    I feel we did overcome engine limitations... things just simply weren't meant to go underwater.  We even had the honor of having a certain BIS member beta test our sub and give some very appreciated feedback.  (Thank you very much!wink_o.gif

    Now with Armed assault who knows, maybe the Everon Cartel will come back to surface.  (excuse the pun)  tounge2.gif
