you are joking right? a DC-10! not a cat in hells chance would you fit that on the islands.
the DC10 wasnt even around during vietnam and neither does it have 3 miniguns, or any at all for that matter...

hi,
I was wondering if anyone could give me any help here:
at the start of the mission, i want it to start as a black screen and fade out slowly. Reason: I am in a helo and need it to get upto speed, also for a brief message to be displayed (ie the white text, centered on the screen).
So far all i have been able to do is make it fade to black then fade back, but not immediatly...
anyone got any suggestions?

what i think it is after doing some experimenting is a trigger zone around the town, enter it and it sets off the tanks, dont enter it, they stay put...

the sub-munitions are also there to hinder repair, ie delayed reaction.
when runway repair begins, the idea is that some of the workers/tools will be destroyed and make it so that none of the workers will go near it...psycological(sp?) effect

ok, first i tried what you said bosun, but it didnt work, it came up with an error but thanks anyway
second: the AI doesnt have to throw the smoke grenade, just as long as the smoke appears...
anyway thanks for your help guys
EDIT:this is the error i get btw, after  a few tries with different things, it occured to me to take a screenshot
i know it says smokeshell but it originally it was a flare

The pod will either be Chaff/Flare dispenser, Skyshadow ECM or TSPJ (Tornado Self Protection Jammer)

ok, i know you can make spec ops place satchels with the help of a trigger, but how do i make an AI soldier throw a smoke grenade?
What the idea is, is when the group of helos flys through the trigger i want it so an officer at the LZ drops a smoke grenade to make it more visable from the air and to add effect.
can anyone give me any help?

personally i would like to see more support vehicles and artilery pieces, i know there is a M109 in the works, but just some general variety-choice.

yeh, i have to agree with you on that, and this is just a thought, but i know when you run out of armour, your aircraft is meant to be "dead" but unless you physically explode in mid air like sometimes happens (not fall apart blow up just bang explode)
what about being able to eject still, so many times ive been hit and its been nowhere near the cockpit and ive just died and glided into the ground. anyway just a thought

its a good idea yeah, i know its annoying to have to search and then realise you cant find a certain addon, but some addons are quite big and included with the missions would take people on 56k quite awhile to download...

ok, just a quick question:
I need to know what the command would be exactly to make an AI leader give the command to some members of the squad to get in one vehicle and others in a separate vehicle.
OK the idea I have is this:
The player is the member of a squad which is lead by the AI. What I want is for the AI to give the order, for the sake of the other AI, to get into the pilot and gunner slots for the helos.
now heres how i understand it:
Pilot1 AssignAsdriver MH60_1
pilot2 AssignAsGunner MH60_1
so would this be in the "on activation" field in a trigger
