  1. ok, i just downloaded the latest version (4c) and was thinking "ok, this should be good, prolly got most of the bugs ironed out"

    i start it up and start researching basic helos (bear in mind i had only just built the HQ seconds before, i then look up in astonishment and find the AI allready have UH60s and Hinds...wha the hell? i was 2 minutes into the game and they already had half the island and had both basic and advanced aircraft, whats that all about? needless to say i got over run with tanks (7 T80s and a mix of shilkas and BMP2s) within a few more minutes

    come on, that isnt right!

    pls...for the sake of the RTS series, sort this out as its impossible to win when you get your arse handed to you within the first 5 minutes

  2. to use them as your own voices you go to your player options where you select face etc and at the bottom should be the new voices, though im sure they can also be used in missions, also, when using Russian AI they use those voices

  3. which version of the 4200 do you have? I have the Abit Siluro version and occasionally get the start bar disapearing, but up untill now i figured that was just windows explorer crashing as usual, dont know about the other glitch, i never turn my pc off and only restart if really necesary and it works just fine...

    what specs do you have? all the latest drivers? i use 42.70 myself, not WHQL drivers but they work just fine

  4. why not come up with something constructive instead of just outright slagging it off koolkid

    but then to be honest i quite like the helo, psk9 or something i think, though i agree i would like to see the (what i think are) TOW launchers armed, but koolkid dont forgot, not every helicopter is armed, it isnt a gunship like the Cobra, Apache, Hind etc

    with the cars, not sure if its really like that, but they have a turning circle of a double decker bus (biiiiig)

    Soldiers: nice, the AK4 (G3?) has a scope yet when you switch to optics its an iron sight, will this be fixed in future releases?

    The M45 is ok, but i find this a tad annoying, bug?

    anyway, nice, shows promise smile.gif

  5. well after playing it i have the following to report:

    -yes the wheels do seem to flash when moving

    -main cannon is a tad weak, took 3 direct hits to take out a T72  crazy.gif

    -Love the MG, whats it meant to be, GPMG?

    other than that nice work smile.gif

    Apart from these observations,it's good to see realistic features like the speed (or lack of) of gear retraction and weapon loadouts.

    And Acidcrash, ripple dropping of bombs is a welcome feature in my opinion as it adds realism...It was quite rare for A-6s, heaviest bombers available to the USN, to drop just a single bomb, as it would destabilise the aircraft, and more bombs=higher hit probability  wink.gif  

    Anyway,the idea is great and with a bit more work (sorry) this is on the way to being a great addon! biggrin.gif  wink.gif  smile.gif<span id='postcolor'>

    i never said ripple dropping was bad, but i think you should have the option not to ripple, especially on the Mk84s as i hate trying to attack 1 small target and firing only to see half my payload go...besides, you can always press fire twice (or more)

    it creates false targets on the radar, just try it, watch the radar and you will see many green "returns" move about randomly about which is meant to confuse, or at the least hinder the AI/you from locking onto them, would be especially usefull in MP with real people

    what i think he meant was that it had two numbers, meaning X and Y axis, which would fit what you said with the Z axis

    Novoga has two airports, i'm pretty sure it could handle 4. Damn i really want someone to combine 2 or more of the original islands together. That would be so sweet. You guys really need to do that, id' imagine it wouldn't take that long either<span id='postcolor'>

    yeh i know you can have as many as you want, but getting the AI to use it is another matter, ive never managed to get the AI to take off/land on the small strip to the north on the island
