  1. maybe not, but i would of thought atleast the possibility of it for any "modern day" type mods, would only be a matter of time before someone made/ported say an M1 Abrams or something and would want thermal sights, sort of like current NVGs, people have been screaming for modability of that...

  2. ah yes, works now d'oh!

    excelent smile.gif

after testing it a few times i hit another wall, your screwed if the group leader dies, any idea how i would have it so that the next person in the CoC would take over and report in?

eg, the Officer dies, the medic is B2 for example, so then he would radio the report instead...

  3. either ive done something wrong or its not had the desired response, if any of the teams have a dead member, they fail to check in, at first i thought maybe the team leaders had died, but when i shot someone who i knew to be just a soldier it turns out i was wrong there...

thanks for the quick response though smile.gif

  4. alright, heres the situation:

i have 4 squads paradropping in...no i dont want a paradrop script... and every now and then 1 or more dies during the jump, be it from collision or too low to the ground. What i want is for a radio call that checks how many is left from each group.

so far i have it that they all check in if they are ALL alive

(count units grpc) >= 9; B1 sidechat "Charlie 1 all here"

    (count units grpd) >= 12; B1 sidechat "Delta 1 all here"<span id='postcolor'>

thats all well and good, but what i want is that, if someone dies then instead of saying "all here", i want it to say how many dead. i thought maybe

but it doesnt seem to work

so does anyone have any suggestions or can it not be done?

Finally the RAF came in a blew it away with a single ALARM. The cocky operater was switching intermittently between two radars and spoofing the HARMS. What he didn't know on the RAF strike was that an ALARM was hanging about 40,000ft up waiting for the search radar to come back on....

hehe id have loved to see his expresion when he realised things had just gone horribly wrong for him biggrin.gif

though you know the one thing i think would be awesome....OFP and F4 (or Falcon 5 which is in the works so i hear) working in the same area...take Novalogics F22 and M1 spearhead(or something like that) *sigh* if only that were possible

  6. you can already use storm shadow if you do a little editting, though most of the weapons that arent standard etc dont work very well...take the B58, its a dud, shame as the B61 works a treat (in 4 flights the NK army went from twice the size of US and ROK forces, to barely a quarter of it biggrin.gif)

the asraam can be added toom though has some strange quirks ...hope this is all sorted in SP4

(FYI the tool in question is TACEDIT)

it works fine on XP for me...could be just the demo (not that ive ever seen one so cant try it for myself...though i suppose you could try it in compatability mode)

im posetive that it works on XP though, even without the use of compat-mode

nope, most deffinatly US units im 100% sure on that

a tornado GR1 in tornado F3 colours interesting.... 10 out of 10 for trying though! your sacrifice is noted<span id='postcolor'>

    not so, here shows otherwise

  10. what always made me wonder was why the US forces in the campaign are all M48s, not a single M1A1/2 or M60

another thing i hope the other maps like Europe and Desert Storm are updated...the Cold War Europe had a nasty habit of crashing me and giving me flights well outside my range (Sweeps over berlin from an Aviano airbase confused.gif)

really looking forward to it though, maybe include some cockpits for other aircraft...i hope so

Yes, at the least I would like to see the already included combat animations readily available with most soldiers.  Don't forget basic knifing and blocking?  Man, a lot of work but if done well it will be great.

I think Thief has some basics on silently knocking ppl out.

EDIT: Don't forget the yelling during attacks.  (althgough it's suppost to be different from person to person)<span id='postcolor'>

yep, dunno bout thief 1 but 2 had a club ("blackjack") which you could beat them over the head with...highly amusing coming out of the shadows and chasing them with a club then running away while they wave their sword and call for help tounge.gif

but yeh, as it is currently the AI will detect you no matter what at about 10-25 meters, maybe more if you are in their line of sight
