LOL? I guess he was 9 or so! Everyone trusts his brother at this age! Anyway, one thing he was right though! The russians, polish and the Chzech did cruel slaughters and genocide-like devastation on the Sudenten-germans, and especially the women (germans emigrated to the East(before the war)) . Of course, everyone expects us germans to admit and openly speak out the cruelties commited by Germany. And this is good. But Russia and especially the Czeck still denie that those cruelties have happened on their side too. And the most funny thing is, that those Germans still enjoy limited human rights. BTW, that is one reason why they are not allowed to enter the European Union. The Sudenten Germans

There is a pretty famous one here in Europe: a crowd of millionaires has to drive along a given track, which usually goes right across europe, as fast as they can. Of course since it is not an official race, the police tries to stop them, which of course is pretty difficult since they drive the fastest machines you can buy for money. But if they get caught they pay tremendous amounts (but do they care?) kind of very capitalistic and nouveau-riche, not realy my style. But I thought I should add that little story here! Only the citizens can make their country a good place to live. That is why we should support those that try to do good instead of go in, drop bombs and go home. That changes nothing.<span id='postcolor'> acceptable politics of power? Which politics? The only way you can bring them to power is by buying them guns. There is no other political system in place to support an honourable way to power. Buying guns has turned out to be the wrong strategy. Dropping bombs would be silly and has never been tried in Somalia anyway. But moving into the country with a respectable military force, establish peace, take power from all local forces, Reestablish a new political fundament, and secure stability untill the changes have settled in the heads. This is without a military mission of 20 years!

I am realy wondering if E-bay is a place where you can realy get good stuff for little money now and then? Have some of you tried it out? Did it work? What did you buy? For what price? Do you know something better than E-bay? And does goat milk have more calories than cow-milk?

My morals are called DOLLARS , Baby! No, of course you are right! And they also use lots of famous actors (that of course dont have to pay anything) to promote their organisation. Tom Cruise has been sucked in for life-time. Still, I would love to once watch those "how to improve your miserable life with clean thoughts" wannabe classes, where you have to jump on one leg, shout at each other, read odd stuff and dance in a circle with flowers in your hair.

Hah, they actually got the best business in the world! They sell air & nonesense for lots of money. I wish I would have had that idea.

Hey, wait, are you now saying I am the scientology spy here?  How rude!! That was my rethorical weapon, not yours!  No, in reality I am their financial advisor  (just kiddin)

I finished my studies pretty much so I will soon try to move out of switzerland and find a place in South-East Asia.

From now on when someone doesnt agree 100% with my opinion I will proclaim that he is a scientology spy ! Everyone will be so afraid of my accusals that they will all agree! You are all looking forward into a period of insultive accusals, threats and mistrust.... And then I will open my own church, and they will call me Flahspoint-guru and you will all pay 80% of your income to my account so you can take part in my mental-classes

I like failure games ! E.g. I like global operations more than Counterstrike (now dont stone me). So SOF II might be just the right game for me

I guess it is banned in Germany, but not here in Switzerland! And of course they also need to have a church where they store all their money. I must admit I too move to the other side of the road when I pass by that Scientology house (just like a prison for mentaly disabled criminals). I bet we already got a scientology spy in this forum that will try to get into our heads and modify us and make us mental robots. THey are here, Akira, dont trust anyone!!! (and if you see this guy, you better run!!

BTW we got a scientology church here in Lausanne. And there are always lots of security cameras and wanna-be gurus around that house. Right around the corner of it you find a big big swiss Bank (so the poor followers dont need to walk far to pay all their money to the church )

Oh yeah, this dutch-auction sounds more trustworthy to me! I guess some of those dealers ask their friends to push up prices and to write them good references!

Sweden uses the first option. <span id='postcolor'> 2 really good points Longy (amongst many others posted by you, Denoir and others here). The last one puts the finger on the power of 'abstract' actions; even if one could mention many more, that ofcourse are done all over the world (even to large extent by USA )<span id='postcolor'> Sounds so beautifully peaceful! But in many countries is just simply does not work. Basically most swiss organisations were kicked out / inhibited in Sudan and Somalia. Now the problem is obvious: the funding becomes problematic, since you no longer got the channels to distribute your financial aids. So you got a give it to local authorities. Of course this would mean that 100% of the money invested would end up in corrupted hands and in the end probably even help funding the war-lords. So countries need be forced to peace before you can arrange constructive solutions to rebuild it. (anyway often the problem is that "you heal what is going to be wounded tomorrow again"). Armed Peace-keepers are very important indeed (especially soon in palestine). War is devasting most of Africa and this since decades, it is not that an UN army would bring war to a peaceful country, but peace to a country at eternal war.

No, of course they werent all arabs (just as you are not always right ). But the ones that caused the fights with the police were. But you also have to look at what message those demonstrators intended to bring forward. - Many of them were actually Hardcore pacifists, who neglect any kind of agression and dont allow any exclusion. - Some of them were simply Anti-american (some of them burned flags). Mostly arabs and former communists from the DDR, now those people cant be taken seriously. - Some critisized Bush for his attitude towards the kyoto treaty (I respect that). -Some were angry about the ignorance of the US towards the EU (especially unions because of the new illegal steel taxes of the US) and the rapid intervention in Afghanistan. Now, those are indeed issues to be discussed. But to say that the Germans didnt welcome Bush or heavily demonstrated against him is silly. We are actually living in a very disturbed century with a lot of dangerous global issues. Of course there would be protests against the president of the most powerful "nation". But this must be seen in relation, and after all, the visit was considered as "warm" from both sides. (BTW: I prefer Frosties to Crunchy-nuts and Smacks)

Do you turn off the music in operation flashpoint?
Albert Schweitzer replied to FallenPaladin's topic in OFFTOPIC
I play this game now for such a long time that I dont realy care anymore about how "challenging" the mission is. I like the athmospherics: I like the right color of the sun at the right moment. I like distant war sounds, I like the music at the right moment of the intro? I keep it on! There has been a tool to implement your own music into OFP right? How much bigger does the mission get if you implement a new *.wav or *.mp3 or whatever it requires? -
