I played the multiplayer for quite a while and I think the game is semi-good. First of all the internet connection is very important for your performance but usually the connection is bad. Secondly I think that teamwork doesnt realy play a great role. I think NWO had simillar problems but was better!

Avon, it is ashame that we always consider the internet to be an anonymous tool. I hope that if I ever get to organise a trip to Israel I am gonna learn to know you. As a german I can say that my generation was taught to be anything but racist. But there are still some charater features that we cant help to associate with Israelis, such as: incredible seriousness, extreme pessimism and a lack of good sarcasm. BUT I LIKE SACRASM and from what I learned from your postings is that this generalisation is pure bullshit. And I even bet you can teach me lessons in Sarcasm. Ever thought of becoming ambassador in Germany? Cause the ones we got right now are crap and isnt it time for a woman to take that job? -

I would hate for this to happen, since I have really enjoyed posting and debating in OT. But be aware that it is a luxury, a priviledge, not a right. Fortunately most of our members are beyond all praise when it comes to maturity, respect towards other members and the dedication to the community. There are always bad apples but they sooner or later get banned or leave the forums. <span id='postcolor'> Everythings a priviledge if u look at it that way. It isnt that hard cause the people here are generous and see no problems in respecting each others opinions. You see this forum isnt in its puberty anymore, its rules have went trough a process of evolution and it has arrived at a stage where most people can discuss in a respectable manner and can express their point of views without any constraints. But I guess there is a limit to it. And this limit is actually very clear. DONT BE DESTRUCTIVE. And I hope you will notice that any non-constructive message will not be accepted and I can tell you beforehand that most of the posters here are not ready for a great revolution against the style of the moderators. Cause there is no reason to rebell. Dont try to destroy a forum that I like the way it is. I know it is slick to post while you are banned, but please do not hesitate to PM me if you wish to respond. (oh Btw, I am not an ass-kisser. I got kicked out of 2 schools because I was unable to accept their style of teaching. Sorry people I am kind of late with my message but untill this afternoon I was busy organising sponsors. Maybe you were asking yourself what this poll is for. Well Codemasters had such an success with this forum that they wanted to thank its loyal members and arranged this contest to distribute little presents. So here we are. Frist price for the best moderator: A seven days trip with this luxurious sealiner from Ethopian Sealines with Full-board and free access to all its leisure and entertainment facilities. Maybe someone else can present the prices for the other polls -

Oh yes. I am somehow allergic to comments such as: "tell me more" or "tell us about it", "write a book about it", "dont care" and "who cares". They lack a certain politeness and I consider "open ears" as one of the major preconditions to participate in a forum. Balschow is one of the few germans who is capable to see the world with the necessary percentage of optimism and surely lacks the bad old german arrogance. Just like Fallen Paladin he is a good compangon to represent my country! Especially since those germans are rare, normally germans are the grunt faces you see in movies! -

Denoir you surely got my vote! I surely wish you and all the other moderators all the best for the upcoming year and thanks for doing a job that is neither paid nor realy acknowledged. I thank the people for their votes and I am so damn ashame now that I dont know what to say! This is probably the best way to make me shut up! -
Agree! but I consider your border patrol to be much more of a restricting factor than a few firearms owners. One thing is for sure, if you want to hit an american then hit him abroad!

Nothing of symbolic importance, not alot of people to kill, and I'm fairly sure that we have the highest number of firearms per capita of any place in America that isn't a military base. Although, during the Cold War my area was number 3 or 4 on strategic hitlists, because it is America's breadbasket as far as domestic petroleum production is concerned (back when we produced enough for it to be considered a breadbasket).<span id='postcolor'> Did you think Kenya would be a great terorist target? (besides maybe the embassy). Oh and do you think a silly firearm is gonna protect you against a truck full of explosives. Well I guess not but I seriously hope you will never be proven wrong!
-
Screw it, since september 11th it can hit you everywhere. Oh btw my family right now is in Kenya for hollidays. We thought it would be easy to get tickets after the latest terrorist bombing but we were wrong. People became indifferent about terorist threats. Whether you are in Indonesia, Germany, US, France or wherever, you are endangered. So why canceling a trip to kenya. In fact only very few canceled their flights to kenya!

I am surprised that some people have no morals at all. Sometimes creating life is worse than destroying it. I am sure those children will have sincere personality complexes once they get older. So sick!

The good thing about OFP is that in Multiplayer you can never complain!!! If you get hit by a bullet then it is your fault, end of discussion!!!
-
Even if you get "sehr" bored of OFP you will see that in one month from now you will check for new modells and you will replay resistance once again. OFP is a boomerang, you throw it away and it will get back to you. OFP for me was worth every penny and I play it all over again. Now that I will work on Malta (yeah I know, you thought that I will work in Thailand), I wonder if I can get get at least ISDN. Let me give you one last forecast: Once you have ugraded your PC the first thing you will do is try out how OFP goes and you will replay RESISTANCE once again. I now got a P4 2.533 and GEFORCE 4600 and OFP is still the best game to play. Screw SOF2, screw UT2003, screw MOHAA, screw Mafia, screw whatever game you got, in MAX settings only OFP rocks right now. Cheers!!!

As you probably know is christmas considered as a great boost for hardware sales and through that the one or the other item can gain an competitive advantage over its components. This year we can observe the trend with the ATI RADEON 9700, which so far is the fasted card on the market. the revolutionary capablitities of the 9700 are enabled through DirectX9.0. But there is no DirectX9.0 out yet and corresponding games will apear around 3rd quarter next year. So why the hell buying it? Or asking the other way around: why putting it on the market? One of the major reasons is the constant struggle between Ati and Nvidia. In contrast to the ATI9700 will the NV30 not be released before February 2003, kind of late to profit from the christmas-business. So one thing is for sure. Nvidia has to come along with a card that must be stronger than the 9700, in order not to harm its image. So the main advantage of Nvidia cards will be DDR2 memory, which can boost performance. But Ati isnt sleeping. A few days ago Ati has presented the new 9700 with DDR2 and it will probably be on the market before Nvidia. Here is the Dilema: while the 9700 and the 9500 will have perfectly settled on the market with good sales figures and progressed drivers Nvidia will come along with the NV30 and try to parasite this saturated market. Is this the turning point? Will Ati rule the future of graphic cards? Same discussion in hardware forum Also discussed in this hardware forum
