    Apache down - how?

Well some things you should now... first of all this was a farmer, right? But what the hell is a farmer doing in the desert?...well definetly not for professional purposes as you might assume cause mother earth is not very rewarding in such an area. No the truth is that the farmer was there to celebrate the marriage of his daughter. And as we know is one of the old countryside traditions to shoot into the air during cheerfull happenings. The last thing the poor farmer wanted was to interfer in the war. Well and actually it was the pilots fault who was so surprised and shocked by the sudden attack that he dropped his aiforce donut into the airforce cup with the airforce coffee and the airforce coffee spilled and burnt the "personal" JOYstick of the airforce pilot who then took his hands from the mechanic-joystick to save his own body-joystick from burning. Consequently without having intended it he forced the chopper out of the air into a the sand and slaughtered some cows, those cows which the farmer had promised to the family of the spouse. The insurance of course has to deal with the problem whether the farmer has to pay the pilot for the damaged chopper or the pilot has to pay the cows. However before this hasnt been cleared the accused will stay in custody.

I'm surprised that the Iraqi didn't blow it up when they had the chance. It would have forced engineering and logistics troops to the front which would have made them convenient targets. <span id='postcolor'> I think you are taking a too strategical attitude here. I doubt that the Iraqis fight with a clean long term strategy in their head untill it comes to Baghdad. I assume this first act of defense by Iraqi forces was uniquely to cause amerian casualties...may it be for medial purposes or to be able to weaken Bush's homefront support!

Executed..maybe because in the eyes of the Iraqis the americans are not POWs but terorists.... no I know this is a tasteless humor I come forward with. My concern right now is rather that if it takes several marines lifes to take a city of 10.000 inhabitants....then how much is it gonna take to conquer a multi-million metropol like Baghdad? Do the calculation but the result might be slightly frightning.

Who is the best special forces soldier in the worl

disagree, Yamas is a very good unit indeed but not trained for all terrain. Put them out of the desert into the swiss alps and they are screwed. All-terrain units are those that rule!

I totally agree. even my shitty german TV-station were able to provide simillar information and images as CNN. Sky NEWs is better but they are on a wargasm trip since the war started.

Finally some competition for ofp ?

In order to play those games I would have to improve my PC. I could have done so but today I decided to pay some of the money of my diving license. It is worth every penny. I probably need another 3 months in order to upgrade my PC and threads like this about new games only hurt my EGO (cause i cant play them)

Another question I ask myself are which weapons the IRAQIS might have that could bring harm to the americans (besides weapons of mass-destruction). In which area are they well equipped and technological advanced. All I see on the pictures is silly AKs

I would realy like to know how much those journalists under risk can earn from war-correspondance. They are under greater risk than soldiers and I doubt they only do this for the fame.

Some preconditional statements have to be made: I would never behave unfriendly to an american tourist because of the recent incidents. Secondly, germany has one of the strongest weapon export regulations and governmental supervision. The problem is only that germany has a great history of technological development in this area and therefore is the perfect soil for related smuggling. Thirdly, I must emphasise that the plans for Iraq cannot be compared to the Marshall plans since Germany was a country with a democratic tradition and eager to reimplement it after the war. Iraq has no such tradition and therefore implementing democracy in Iraq would be like telling an elephant to wear high-heels. Thirdly, the US (in contrast to the UK, France and Spain) has no experience in the area of governing colony-like states. America will try to make the Iraqis think the american way instead of adopting a system that fits into the arab environment. Want an example? Well did you know that the pirate radio station by the US army (that was meant to convince Iraqi soldiers to surrender) played the US0 charts day and night...it took those morons a week till they understood that not everyone likes R&B in Iraq and till they implemented arab music! This is not the cultural sensitivity that I expect from a nation that wants to keep up the iraqi cultural eco-system!

I am sure the Iraqis in the US are shouting in a choire: "yes please bomb our relatives so they are being freed from Saddam". Well we have a hell lot of Iraqis in europe as well and I just have to cross the road to get to the next Kebab-stand in order to ask for an opinion. Everyone here agrees that Saddam is surpressing the nation but everyone here also agrees that the americans would be the last ones that would be asked for help (at least from an arab perspective). I may also assume that any Iraqi in the US now would feel frigthened to state the opposite and therefore be considered a "potential terorist". With such a reputation you would loose any sympathy in your neighbourhood. Revenge yes...but revenge means hitting the person himself and not the persons around him. WHAT THE F.UCK has this list on the SHIP to do with the iraqis ...they werent involved in any of those incidents..(the list basically implies that all arabs are terorists).so the question remains open...why are we here??? Answer it to me!!! In the beginning it was terrorism prevention (yes good justification...why dont we ban everyone here in order to prevent them breaking the forum rules beforehand)...then it was liberation of the people...then it was revenge...and now it simply is bloodthirst and all masks of justifications have been dropped. Whether this war is a clean war does not change jackshit...it is still an unjustified war.

wait...I thought directed artillery was from the Iraqis and directed against british tanks. And I doubt the Iraqis have laser designators (without satelites) nor do they have a proper airforce.

what are all those rockets for if those morons are too stupid to use them. Tonight the opposition forces in Afghanistan have undertaken their biggest counterstrike since five months and shot 10-20 rockets at UN-military camps. Not a single one hit the camp (and never did before). Maybe those nations see rockets as a sign of status-symbols...(probably because of its masculine shape -phallus). A rich dictator must have a Rolex, a Mercedes (with a golden oversized Mercedes-star) and a Rocket.... And besides all great leaders have one.(I mean the rocket)
