Triggering a trigger from a trigger...
Aculaud replied to slaveOne's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I did just think of something though. This trigger activating method has never been a problem for me. So what is it thats going wrong? Are you getting an error message when the second one is supposed to activate, or does it simply not go at all? -

Aculaud replied to slaveOne's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Any word you want. Like, say you want the second trigger to end the mission. You'd make the second trigger an end trigger and put a word like "over" in its condition field. Then, in the first trigger, you'd put over = TRUE in the activation field. Hope this helps -

As for protien, lets see here....Tofu (tons of it!! ), broccoli, beans, brown rice, rice and beans together, peanuts, peanut butter, fortified soymilk, sprouted wheat bread, Gardenburgers (which have 15 grams per burger, and i eat about 3 at a time), other assorted nuts and seeds. Trust me man, iv got the protien

Iv been having pretty good success with 25 rep sets on 50 lbs. On a good day i can get out about 200 reps total. Thats not including the 80-120 reps chestfly i do before that. We've got a blowflex here, so thats been coming in pretty handy. I was just wondering what would help push muscle over more towards the center.

Aculaud replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Found 'em. Thanks, mate. Do you know if there are any other new ones like that for any other commands? -

Aculaud replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Thanks, but found out why it wasnt working. I guess you cant put any switchmove syntax that starts with "FX" in a soldiers init field. It has to be done with a trigger or in a script. Thanks though. -

I personally think the AAI corp. model was more practical and compact looking. If it had gone through the amount of beta testing and revision that the current model had, they probably would have gotten something more maneuverable. This design is at least a little shorter:

I wouldnt. The idea of it is super cool to write about and make computer games out of, but thats as far as i'd take it. I like the idea of being able to try again instead of only get one shot at the whole thing It'd be far too stressful in real life.

They should seriously overhaul the damage systems of first person shooters.<span id='postcolor'> Or "We Were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson. Christ, that was intense! And i agree. Even in Ghost Recon, you can peg someone in the upper body up to three times before they die with a 7.62mm round. Iv even nailed someone in the Head\Neck area with one and they didnt die.

Could a sniper in real life heal his/her own wounds, or at least field bandage them so they could still maintain a degree of functionality?

I just think things like its unmatched versitility in being able to re-create it however you want will keep it alive far longer than any other game. The only reason i'm not really into it right now is because my computer's in really sad shape and i'm getting a new one in not too long. When that happens, i'll be cranking out missions left and right!

Is anyone truly considering manufacturing this, and/or is any nation's army really THAT interested in permanently displacing their infantrymen's shoulders by forcing them to wedge this weapon (which is roughly the size of Bermuda) in a firing position?<span id='postcolor'> Well, if you think about it, no army in their right mind would field a weapon that would compromise the health of the soldier reducing his effectiveness. So i'm pretty sure it wouldnt be THAT tough to handle. I know Heckler and Koch and Alliant Techsystems have been working on this a lot, but last i heard it was definitely still in the development stages. Check it out in more depth at HK Pro. I think they're down right now, but keep that site in mind. Lots of good stuff.

Funny. I dont see bond losing any steam at all. I think the new ones add more life to the classic ones. I see them keeping the old style alive perfectly. Take the begining of The World Is Not Enough. Him in the bank getting frisked, and the manager on the other side of the desk turns slowly with a cigar in one hand and an evil, condescending look on his face ".....So good of you to come see me, Mr Bond..." And you are right, they're not making them how they used to. Goldeneye did a TON of new things, added a whole bunch of new elements, but it was still Bond in all his glory. They stick to a style for sure, but not a formula, which is good. Sticking to something specific just makes you predictible. You have to reinvent sometime. The only thing i dont like about the up and comers is the lack of Desmond Llewelyn, but that one was kind of out of our hands
