Yeah, i thought it would be cool to have a winter version of this as well. Kolgujev has the best sniping terrain in my opinion, so what better to use for a winter version than Kegetys? I thought that was a nice touch. Well color me flattered, i'm glad everyone is liking it so far. I know there was some confusion about the resistance contact meeting you there at night, so i'll just tell you how thats supposed to work. You get to the town and hit the waypoint and then it shows some spoken text and it just fades right to night time, and then a minute later, your contact comes driving up to you and you get briefed. Gotta play these things out. Anyway...Ok, seriously, everyone. Keep those comments coming. I want to know everything you think about this. USsoldier11B was saying "with some polishing, this could easily be an official mission". if you could elaborate on that, id love it. What should i polish? Oh, and i should tell you some of the things i'm changing at the moment. First, the ranger element your deployed with will be in winter gear, and i gave them a new waypoint because they were attacking a town that they werent supposed to. Next, i took out the UAZ on the northern most patrol route, because it deviated a lot from its waypoints, so i just put another infantry patrol there instead. And then i put another infantry patrol on the southern most patrol route. Also, i havent done this yet, but i was thinking of replacing the patroling BRDM with a ural full of infantry. Whatcha think?

or there could be no river. It could just go over normally un passable terrain like a rocky crag or canyon or something.

oops, this should be in mission editing. Sorry

Ok, first thing, DITCH THE M60!! Find something that launches rockets as soon as possible. You will most likely have to take out the last shilka yourself, maybe the first one too. As soon as you have, get to a bush FAST! tanks will be everywhere at the last town. Wait for the choppers to do away with all of them, and then Kilo squad will do what it can on the town. Its just an M113 and some soldiers, so they could die, but at the very least it will take a lot of Russians with them. After that, or durring, just stay in the bush and pick people off as you see them. Move into the town slowly, watch everywhere, and again, just take it slow. You will most likely be the last guy alive on your original squad (they cant hide for shit), so hiding is definitely a virtue.

Benelli makes a good shotgun. I'd take any one of these for close quarters battle.

Or with a shotgun!............ever seen Pulp Fiction?

how do i make a gamelogic cycle its waypoints forever?

Tovarish, LOL. I suggest you go play it again, and just do the first part where you meet the contact. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised.

eh, The Avon Guy just doesnt have the same ring to it

well, i'm actually in the process of testing it all out and modifying as i go myself, so just continue to tell about errors you find and things youd like to see changed, and i will work them into everything.

(yes I had a flashpoint dream). Not sure why, I haven't been playing much flashpoint lately.<span id='postcolor'> games can do that! After i played LandWarriror the first time, when i took a break from it (finally), i could still see the crosshair imprinted on my vision for a little while, like the sunspot when you get your picture taken. -

theres also the factor that different music inspires different things. I love all music. Except country, and whatever genre Celine Dion is in. Classical is a great in my opinion. I love listening to the piano when i'm at work. -
Its here! Check out "Mission Editing"

I'm making a mission right now that i plan to be as realistic as possible. So i was wondering if anyone could tell me about a realistic way for a sniper to enter "no mans land" or behind enemy lines or somewhere to that extent. Whats a realistic way for a sniper to be inserted into combat? Also, if it makes any difference, this is just a two man team being deployed behind enemy lines. the mission focuses on enemy harassment and assassination of officers and whatnot. Things i thought to be pretty realistic for "sniper detail". If anyone has any other advice for realistic home made sniping in OFP, i'm all ears (or eyes in this case).

yes, its another D-day mission, but i'm doing a good job. I need to have squads of soldiers respawn while keeping their waypoints. Any way to do this? -

It can be challenging to make it fit in certain situations. -
Yes, i'll take an M-24 SWS, a Barrett M82A1, pleanty of ammo for both, a Tavor rifle sharpshooter version (for when i get in closer), a Gil ATGW, a RCWS grenade launcher, and two RCWS heavy MG's. and then, uhhhhh.........Yeah, that should hold me over for a while.
-
ok, so once you get that, can you change it to whatever you want?

two more words. Marshy swamp-land I was thinking how cool that would be to have a forest in a low elevation area and flood it just enough to be able to conceal yourself in it. It would be deep enough to hide in, but shallow enough to wade through. definite possabilities
