I just got a kick*** new system...

well, even an infant could stomp a CPU into the ground with a claw hammer Thats good for you, but my AMD system is the buggiest thing since the ant hill. If i had a dollar for every time OFP quit on its own, or froze or crashed in any way, i'd be too rich to live with myself.

AMD systems are considerably less compatable with more and more things that are coming out *cough**cough* windows XP *cough* than more mainstream systems like intel. They die less, they crash less, they're a hell of a lot more compatable with anything you'll do. I know i'm going with intel when i upgrade.

Pheh!! Try some limitations, Denoir! SOOO much harder to get right than it looks. Jumping over a UH60 MG, a UH60, an AH1, and an AH64, while staying under 3 Chinooks.

I still have yet to own either Snatch, or Lock Stock and Two Smoking Berrals, but i vow to own both on DVD as soon as i can. ...but Chris had to respect the fact that Tom was holding what appeared to be a pair of loaded shotguns. And Tom had to respect the fact that they were not loaded. So, without anyone loosing too much face, Tom left through a side door, and Chris left with the money. And everyone else got arrested.

    Hello again, hello.

...Funny name for an Englishman, i know. My parents to be were on the same plane when it crashed. Thats how they met. They named me after the plane. How many people are named after a plane crash? Thats my partner, Tommy. He tells people he was named after a gun. But i know he was really named after a famous 19th century ballet dancer...

    Officer, soldier or black op?

Even though it's a hassle and completely stressing, the satisfactions are really huge.<span id='postcolor'> Seriously? I think that time i played Shadow killer that i wrote about up there was more satisfying than any time iv ever commanded units. Sneaking into the town until i was clear enough to run in, kill someone, place charges, and run like hell out of it. Then, once in position up on my hill, i see a ton of enemy units come to reinforce the place just seconds after iv gotten out of there. And then the convoy comes, and everything gets toasted! Playing as a black op is exhilerating. It honestly gets my heart pumping to know that they could find me any second, but then i make it out and blow the place sky high!

    Officer, soldier or black op?

Yeah, another one thats really fun is to use machine gunners instead of snipers. Put about 35 of them on the hill face and see how many squads they can take down before the run out of ammo

    Officer, soldier or black op?

Since we’re all talking about what kind of missions we like and why, I thought it’d be good to write this here. I was just playing some OFP, and I decided to go for some “Shadow Killerâ€, as in the single mission. I was watching We Were Soldiers at the same time an--, napalm is one nasty mothafucker, by the way. I ended up spending what had to be a half hour to forty-five minutes on the briefing screen alone. I planned out my every move. My infiltration, my attack, my exfiltration, everything! My target was Dourdan, my objective was fuel. The destruction thereof, anyway. I slipped in as far as I could on foot, and then I hit the dirt and observed the place from afar. I saw one…two, crawled in a little closer, three, four infantry contacts. I waited for them to start going away from me. As I watched, a tank rolled by. Its headlights glared in front. As soon as the men were far enough away, I slipped in. I made my way around a corner, and there was a soldier, within conversation distance, face to face with me. He didn’t see me at first, but he froze half a second later as if he knew exactly what was coming. A few nine-millimeter rounds left my weapon and tore through him in slow motion. By the time he hit the ground, my charges were on the road, and by the fuel station, and I was making a fast brake for it. I left east of the town to a hill where I could see things clearly. I hit the dirt on a hillside right in front of some trees and listened as I watched. The voice of my CO was distant and muted as I watched my enemy reinforce its position in the town with light armor and men, but I heard it load and clear when he said the convoy was on the move. I watched ahead of the town until headlights filled my lenses. I watched them go by one by one. A UAZ…one…two Urals…and there was the fuel truck. In back, just as I had been informed. I tracked it for as long as I could, but that came to an end when it got as far as the fuel station at the other end of town. A bright light signaled objective completed. I got up, turned for the shore, and made my way, a little over two kilometers, back to friendly territory on foot…alone in the dark. Once on the shore, I was on the lowland. The hills above had a clear shot at my head, but yielded no weapons, no enemies. I ran until I heard explosions…the sounds of no-mans land…no man except me. As the sun rose, I made my way to where the fighting stopped and I was home. Mission complete. So, I’m just going to have to break the rules and vote again for black op missions, because Its experiences like these that make them all too worth while for me.
