    ok, fine. The conversations that two or more characters have in the campeign game appear at the bottom of the screen as radio transmitions. they usually have sound effects of peoples voices to go along with the text, which i'm not worried about. i just want to display the text. http://www.3dactionplanet.com/flashpoint/images/CD6.gif There. See all that stuff that Alpha Black and West are talking about? thats the kind of conversation i want to display

    Got it to work! I was trying to use a helicopter to follow the waypoint i had synched to the trigger, but it kept going before i told it to. heres what i did. the trigger was activated by radioing alpha. so before i radioed it, i had it set as having no fuel. then with the trigger, i put the setfuel 1 command in the "on activation" feild, and it did everything the way i wanted it to. Perfect! and i got the overview taken care of, so its all good now.
  7. Iv been through lots of this before, and i need help again, just not getting anywhere. I really love playing as a black op, but i like the uniforms the Spetz Natzs have better. any way to play as an american black op with the spetz natz uniform? Next, i need to kow how to activate a trigger by identifying an enemy unit. its something like  Unit A knowsabout Unit B, or something, but i forget the details, and i'v tried experimenting, but to no avail. Next, i need to know how to use a trigger to send units from one location to another when that trigger is activated. And finally, someone tell me how the #### i'm supposed to make an HTML briefing. its really not as simple as you people make it out to be, iv tried everything people have suggested, and nothing works. the closest iv gotten is to use the mission editing assistant, or the mission and briefing editor, and those seem to have this quirk where they dont sepertate the notes from the briefing itself. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!!

    i have tried there. its got a great amount of good general knowledge, but i was hoping for someone who knows something specific about what i need. Ok, nevermind the spetz natz uniform, and i got the knowsabout command done. what i need now is: -how to make an overview only. just the front page of the mission. the one before you get to the briefing. -next, i need to know how to make an AI player follow its waypoints upon activation of a trigger. i'v tried synching the WP with a trigger, and that didnt work.

    How can we change napalm

    Actually i was just curious what this whole thing about napalm is. is it an addon or something? did codemasters make it? is this official, or did someone else make this function?
  13. once you place the character you will be using, another option will open in the "insert unit" menu called "empty". under this, you can select "Objects". here will be a list of objects you can place which includes fences, barracades, and other cool goodies

    well, wood fence is a straight section of sandbag wall that can be placed anywhere, but i dont really know that theres anything that qualifies a really big. pretty much just as big as the corner pieces

  20. ok, theres a couple triggers i need for this mission, but dont know how to go about getting them set up. the first one is where i need it to be activated by identifying an enemy unit. theres an example of this in the campaign mission "Rescue" where to complete the first objective, you need to identify a bunch of gaurds, and doing so activates the trigger that completes that objective. the second one, i need to have it so that i pass over it with a certain vehicle, and it automaticly refuels it. like if my vehicle was named patrol1, it should be a command like this setfuel1 patrol1 or something. i was told this before, but forgot.
  21. ok, second issue. theres a point in my mission where the player will have the option of collecting two more members to join his squad. i tried using the join and lead synchronized to a move WP, but you can see that clear as day in the mission, and the player will automaticly know about this. so is there a way to acomplish the same task with a trigger instead?

  24. ok, i tried the mission and briefing editor and the mission assistant, and they work fine, but they always put the briefing in the notes section. is this just because i have a super long briefing(2-3 pages)? my idea to remidy this was to put the briefing in the overview section, but then people would see it before they got to the briefing. if i dont even make sense, and come off as totally hopeless, then please just send me a blank template for a briefing in microsoft front page.
  25. nah, i couldnt get the file onto my machine. i clicked download, and it took the liberty of just opening it instead, so i wasn't able to get my stuff on there
