For some reason, this was just on my mind. Ofp is an international game, and i'm sure there are Russian gamers out there that play it. The origional campeign and nearly all of the official quick missions, and just about everything else with the exception of Red Hammer is against the Russians. I was just curious, how do you feel about this? Does Red Hammer make up for it?

totally. The US isnt perfect at all. About the war in Afganistan, Apperantly, we're droping food parcels and cluster bombs in the same areas, and its not un common for children to get ahold of the bomblets believing that they contain food. The US isnt perfect in the slightest, so i agree with that. At the very least, either Get Russia on par with NATO (in the game), or bring NATO down to where Russia is portrayed.

Is BIS or Codemasters planning to put out any more official addons of the downloadable persuasion? iv just been wating for one for a while, and i was just curious if anyone could tell me if i'm wasting my time.

Yeah, that's probably all to be expected. I still want a silenced sniper rifle option though. But aside from that, i was just curious.

How do i get a squad of soldiers to attack on my command only? Iv tried using a radio alpha trigger and synching it to their wp, but they still go before i say so.

Not radio transmitions mind you, but the big white stuff that displays two individuals talking to eachother. I need to know how to make one paragraph apear for a moment, and then shift to another after a moment. Do i need multiple triggers for this, or some kind of pardition mark between paragraphs or what?

I need a trigger that will make a number of infantry units enter a vehicle, and go to a location when a certain unit dies.

cool. that should do it. One more thing. Do i pardition those script lines with a semi-colon the same way you would in the init. feild of a unit?

ok, that works good. now, how do i have one paragraph come up for a little while, and then change to another one? do i need multiple triggers or waypoints for each paragraph, or some kind of special pardition?

yeah, but that doesnt keep them from following their wp, does it? they're still gonna go before i say so, i would think that just a combat mode change would only effect the speed that they get there.

one more question. If a sniper has an extra 50 meters of camoflauge, how much extra do black ops have?

Iv heard it said before that if you hide in a bush, an enemy can walk five feet from you and not notice you. is the snipers ghillie suit the artificial equivilant of hiding in a bush? Like, say i was prone out in the open wearing a ghillie suit. would that create the same effect as a normal soldier hiding in a bush?

so in other words, even as a sniper with the "leaf suit", id still have to hide in a bush to be invisable?

when i try to put LaunchAttack = TRUE; in the condition of my waypoint, it gives me an Unknown operater error message.

Need to know two things about trigger activation

need to know how these two certain triggers can be activated. first one i need to activate when a certain four units are destroyed second one i need to activate when these two fuel stations get destroyed. -
does anyone besides me notice anything....er......"out of place" about the AT4 and Carl Gustav launchers?

My first argument was that i thought the US barrett M82A1 had a place in OFP. this might have been a little impractical. my new thoughts are on the M-40, possibly a silenced version. some argued that NATO already has a perfectly good sniper rifle, so why add another. well, the M-16 is a perfectly good assault rifle, but we also fealt we needed the Steyr Aug, the HK G36, and the XMS. so i'm thinking why not? it would be a perfect oportunity to feild a silenced sniper rifle to black ops. And fellow snipers, lets just be honest, its nice to have some variety. who would want that instead?

Under "Activation", whats the difference between 'West and 'Anybody'? does 'West just refer to AI, or would a west player fall under that catagory as well? -

And how am i supposed to do that? Theres no place in the trigger window to specify "This trigger is activated by this unit" -
I keep hearing about people talking about the names of vehicle based rocket launchers. Laserguidedbomblauncher, MaverickLauncher, Etc. what is the use of knowing this? could i for instance, equip someone with a carl gustav or LAW launcher but have them fire a Maverick instead or something? what kind of cool stuff could i do with vehicle weaponry?

Acutally, scratch that. What i really need to know is how do i make a trigger that is only activated by AI? particularly, the ones on my team. -

I'll agree with all of this as well. Iv been wating quite some time for a game that masters ralistic infantry combat this well, and it even has re-play value to spare. Not to mention integrating Armored combat and air combat. Great work, Codemasters and Bohemia Interactive Studios, i cant wait to see whats next!
