My intro is at about 5 in the morning and it never takes off the night vision. The whole reason i have my intro at 5 in the morning is to get the effect of the sunrise, with the explosions and battle. So id like to know if theres any way to get rid of the night vision.

Am i not using the knowsabout command right?
Aculaud posted a topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I was under the impression that when you want a trigger to fire when a unit knows about another unit, you put something like this in the 'condition' field: A knowsabout B > 2 can anyone confirm this? do i need to be corrected? -
I'm too locked out of my chopper!
Aculaud replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
yeah, i just named the chopper "air" and gave the chopper a waypoint with air land "land"; air lockwp true in the activation field. this forces it to land and locks its waypoint so it cant just up and leave after it does that. Then i made a trigger with player in air in the condition field, and air lockwp false in the activation field. that way, its waypoint is unlocked and it can resume its course once i'm on board. -
I need to make it so that the player cant take the position of gunner or pilot on my black hawk. I just want to be able to get in the back.

Intros and manditory night vision.
Aculaud replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
actually, no. thats not workin. i entered This removeweapon "nvgoggles"in all of the initialization fields of all the units that were on my side (I dont imagine the enemys night vision would effect it), and it still doesnt work. -

interesting subject. Its weird how as soon as we invent a higher level of body armour, the next thing we think of is a way to defeat that armour.

alright, fine, i'm still posting here. I still think is getting pretty far out there though

well, first off, i dont think every soldier had an honorable death, unfortunately. The poor souls who were the victims of exicution, and those who were slaughtered after they surrendered. Also, why think of emulating their experiences as a disgrace? i would consider it an honour to imortalize what they fought for and won. I dont think it would be a good idea to imortalize that first bit i mentioned, however.

all dedicated servers are password protected. And if they're dedicated, why do they show up on gamespy in the first place?

Am i not using the knowsabout command right?
Aculaud replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
see, heres the deal: I'm trying to set up something of a Poor-Mans-Artillery-Strike by making it so that when the player knows about a certain unit, the trigger will fire, and down will come the bombs. For some reason, i cant get the knows about command to work. I'm looking right at the unit with my binoculars, and even left clicking on it a bunch of times, and its not working. Any help would be greatly apreciated. -
wow.......anyone know what places Malden and Kolgujev are modeled after?

Are those big battleships just for decoration?
Aculaud replied to <COPPERHEAD) =>'s topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
in an upcoming mission i'm making, i made it look like my black hawk took off from the heli-pad on it. Theres pleanty you can do with it. It does seem pretty useless at first glance though -

One, because i also encounter glitches a lot with that game as well, and i didnt really want to take a chance. And two, because it just didnt apeal to me as much. I could imagine the only way i could conceal myself better is because of the low graphics quality. I could never stand not being able to fix that, and trust me, i tried. I absolutely loved Land Warrior. The only thing that really pissed me off about that was that F****N LITTLE BLACK DOT!!! that little thing that everyone looked like at about 350 meters away and beyond. It was my best friend when trying to find targets, but it made it so that hiding completly was litterally impossible. Another part of OFP that i love so much

God knows how many times iv tried to find a copy of that for sale 2) what if they dont know the imediate location of the sniper? this is what apperantly happened with Mr. Zaitsev in WW2, which is most likely why an enemy sniper was sent to kill him as a pose to your methods.
