How do put a logos on trucks
ALDEGA replied to viper-hawkens's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
btw, since 1.75 there is a new command called "setObjectTexture" which let's you put textures on vehicles (only the ones that have been "prepared" for this though). -
Yeah, enabling T&L would be a wise thing to do!

Have you deleted the old cookie, and logged in with the new account?

That, and your northbridge controller...

Eax footsteps issue-no sblive on this machine
ALDEGA replied to starstreams's topic in TROUBLESHOOTING
"it's the Flashpoint's sound engine that is flawed" BIS already commented on the issue, and it was apparently a bug in EAX. EAX wasn't really designed for such large environments. Since there aren't that many games with such a large environment, you aren't going to find this bug much. But that bug has been fixed since 1.58! -
Quit the bashing if you don't have anything noteworthy to say!

Transform & Lighting. Every 3d card ,whether or not it has T&L unit does the texturing (whate else do you think it was doing? ). The major difference is that T&L videocards handle the geometry and lighting too, which used to be done completely by the system cpu. More info: http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=Technical_Brief_TandL

Was this supposed to be a reply to the thread with the R9700 problem?
-
The Radeon 9700 isn't 2x faster. It's only faster in the heaviest tests where both cards have low framerates. (extreme) Example: card 1 gets 3 fps, card2 gets 6 -> twice as fast! but still very slow, only 3 fps faster! Anyway, I'll stick to my GF4Ti. It's a lovely card, and nvidia provides good driver support.
-
Don't use the drivers for the SBLive, because you haven't got an SBLive Go to creative.com / support section. There should be a driver somewhere.

I think you may have removed official addons Reinstall?
-
Why not? Can't you make it a plane with "canfloat=1"?

It's worked for me with every single detonator...

1) Search google.com 2) right-click a few times in windows explorer...

hmm, Avon, you're back!

I gave you the same info as I did in the other thread, and that person got it fixed rightaway. Just change the ownership of that folder (and its files) (if necessary also change the permissions -> read / write / execute), is it that difficult?
-
YES! So, haven't you fixed it yet?
-
Is it really that difficult? WinXP is an NT OS which is a multi-user OS. Every user has certain permissions. Your current account doesn't have the permissions to access the Res folder. Claim ownership of those folders if possible. If you don't know how, read the manual. This question has been asked before btw!

The engine doesn't support anything like shooting off parts of a model. At best, they will succeed in making a vehicle with working doors, which would be very nice
-
I don't think it does much (if anything). If you want high quality LODs visible from longer ranges, you need to change the LODs in the preferences utility. You may also have to reduce desired framerate to minimum.
