  2. Gosh, with so many thinks in the works I get lost, but I'm looking forward for some releases, but I'm not impacient,lol.

    BTW, you wouldn't think to add some specialised weapons for the SAS in future, wouldn't you? this way I wouldn't have to search or think in make a pack to fit their load outs. I'm tallking about a cuple of H&K weapons and some armalite? I understand the proportions of this mods proyects and things to do and so on, that's whay I'm not asking or requesting, just wondering if that was even been in your minds, if no, comon, just tell me, I may even learn how to work on O2,lol. Cheekey cheekey!!

    @cero: You got a tx200? Thinling about getting one. I have a benjamin legacy 1000 feet per second. I still have to sight in my scope.

    Also knowed as a Sheridan? but 1000 Ft/Sc... you must be in the States, cos in the UK that is way over the legal limits,lol. You must be looking at ranges well over 100 Ft, what a rush wow_o.gif

    @ gandalf the white, about recoil in antimaterial rifles, the Barret series have very little recoil due to the way they are made, they actually hardly move, but that's the Barret, I don't got a clue how other rifles like the MAC and the KSVK for example, they may have a lot of recoil, I don't know.

    @ Oyman, It would be nice if you could do like King Homer did with his Barret, he uses two different types of amo for the same rifle, and they work very well agains vehicles, but they don't explode when they hit a target, you could chek with King Homer to see what values he used for his amo, I think they are spot on, but that's just me.

  4. Lol, my TX200 is ceroed to 40 yards, I can make a 15mm group at 40 yards easy with a 9x magnification, it depends on what air rifle you got; Air Arms barrels are a work of art.

    Sorry, I'm not showing off, I just like to tallk about them biggrin_o.gif lol.

    @ Victor_S, are you planing on releasing this on its own? I would like to try that.

    @ Oyman, are you releasing that? it looks sweet, I could use some heavy sniper rifle for resistance.

  5. Hi there.

    I was wondering if is possible to add some real dynamic weather that actually affects ballistics.

    I wouldn’t expect heat and humidity to be added, because the effects of them in the flight path of a bullet aren’t that noticeable, but wind is a key factor.

    I always been interested in sniping, it’s a challenge, and the more facts involved in it, and the more skill needed to success, the best it taste to hit a target.

    Bullet drop can be achieved easily, its already of my satisfaction in OFP, but wind conditions affecting the flight path of a bullet, no, that’s not available in OFP, and it would be a very interesting feature.

    As it is now, sniping in OFP don’t require much skill, apart for other field crafts, like being able to go there, do the job, and live another day, that again, don’t really need a lot to be improved.

    If it possible to add real wind to OFP2, and a way to check the speed and direction, the sniper then, could collect this details and use them to guarantee a one shot one hit, making this a very important skill to use in multiplayer, because not everybody could just do it from the first time.

    Another thing that would be good is the possibility to access more than one optic device.

    As it is now, we only have a pair of binoculars in OFP, but some more in the inventory would be fantastic, like binoculars with reticules that can hell the player to calculate the distance of a know size object or person, monocular, spotting scopes, different magnifications, and so on.

    There is many things that I could suggest for OFP2, but many of them if not the most are sniping related, and if they could become true in OFP2, the rest of the game surely will be out of this world.

    Nice, a Kentucky rifle would go well with a Ferguson and a Baker rifle too.

    The Ferguson was used by the American Colonies forces, but I don't think the Baker ever reached America, this was what the English used against the French, so I very much doubt that it made it across the puddle, but it would be a nice adition.

  7. Okey dokey, this is what he pointed to me.

    First thing, is the seating arrengament depending on the situation.

    The pic below shoes the normal arrengament, but if there was a flight to drop the boys from the Paras, the seats would extend to nearly the ramp.

    Where I writed the words "Extra seats", right where the letters are, that is where the line for the "monkey lines" will go, running right above the seats towards the ramp.

    The crew seats are kind of repressented in the pic below.

    If you are seating in the pilots seat you would have the copilot on your right side. Behind them would be the navigator, I think he is seating sideways facing the right side of the craft.

    Behind the navigator and above, is the engeenier, facing forward like the pilot and copilot, the seat is on the higher part of the control room.

    Behind the engeenier is a door that takes you to the cargo bay through some steps going down to cargo level, with the toilets next to it, but I'm not too sure if they are left or right.

    On the right side next to the steps you'll find the "Load master" seat, with his back agains the wall, facing his hellper who is seated right oposite him.

    This is the basic crew. In some ocasions depending on what kind of cargo they got, there can be more people working in the cargo bay, like a jump master, who stay in the plane because he belongs to the planes crew, sometimes there is two if two sets of "monkey lines" are running. That was my mates main job. and at the same time, if its troops in the plane, there also would be one or two guys serving food and stuff, actually know here as "tea" tounge_o.gif  British can't go to war without a brew, lol, even the SAS. biggrin_o.gif

  9. Yeah @cero the island truly does bring back the memories of the Nomad days  smile_o.gif , pity we couldnt continue on it. I'd love to see a dedicated mod for the MiddleEast/afghan stuff. But in a place where there are hardly any people from these areas plus the ones who have the talent arent interested its a tough ask. If only people from these areas were part of the OFP community as well  sad_o.gif .

    That makes me think that this Damaged models will be very usefull.

    Have you considered any of my early sugestions? about cargo scripts and so on?

    I don't know about the ready to jump scripts that would change the seating animations, that may be too complicated, and would be a very difficult system to debbug, but the vehicle cargo scripts with an option to make a vehicle compatible by executing the script throught its init field, well, that would be perfect.

    Now, do anybody know how to do such a script/s? tounge_o.gif lol

    Uh, I think I got that wrong, was there any airplanes stationated in the Falklands? lol.

    All I know is that the SAS and/or SBS supossed to blow some stuff in there tounge_o.gif


  13. The WYW´s dynamic opfor insurgents addon is a nuisance when it comes to bugs and stuff like that.

    I think that the most of the problems in that pack have a lot to do with the way the random stuff is. If they were just a bunch of units without the random stuff they would probably work very well, as they are now they are a lagg fest.

    In my own personal opinion, this kind of stuff spoils the playability. Notice that I writed in bold leters. tounge_o.gif

    The simpler the better, specially when it comes to multiplayer.

    You do whatever you want, is your creation, and I won't argue with your final choices and results, I'm just an end user biggrin_o.gif one that can hellp by giving you some feed back and personal opinions. biggrin_o.gif lol.

    I know that I may get some crap post caling me all the names under the Sun because I give my personal opinion, but is something that is meant to hellp, not to request or nag.

  14. I didn't tryed the previous version, but this one... well, I'm most impressed.

    What a chopper, I love it.

    Works perfect, and I haven't noticed any bugs, apart from having a CTD when I had the new Abrahams pack, Sigmas East tanks, and a AT soldier from the Hyk modern US infantry, so it could be to do with anything rader than this addon lol.

  15. cant you make the cargo anim hat hes sitting on the rear with his feet kinda outside the car.. like they are sitting in a helo, but feet on the bumber or something... but watching backwards so you could give him a machine gun aswell.

    And maybee you could make something like they are hanging on the side of the car standing on something like a side bull bar...?

    maybe you can make those anims ?  wink_o.gif

    looking at post count in this thread i dont think that community needs desperatly this addon, it will wayt for better times on my hdd for now, i will focuse on other projects.

    That would be very sad.

    I'm really looking forward for this vehicle.

    I like the original, but this one is going to be much much muuuuuuuuuuuch beter, and I promisse I'll release a tidy mission with this addon, I promise biggrin_o.gif
