What you ganna do with the BIN? release a new version with every new addon? so we just have to make sure we got the stuff that is in the Configuration file.
I would love to have a non encripted version of your Configuration file, so all I'll have to do is copy you parameters and paste them into my configuration file.
I'm using GoldMembers Configuration file with the Blood addon, Inquisitors weapons pack, his Explosion mod, and a cuple of other addons.
I'm hoping to be able to get the dinamic range without the weapons sounds or the other new sound pack. That will make them addons of you sound alot better instead of use the original BIS sounds.
So yeah, can you give us a non encripted copy of you configuration every time you release an addon? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

Sorry if I sound pequish(spell?) but, what is with the flat orizontal pice on top of the front mount of the escope?
Looks like a fixin for something like a lamp.
I'm not crticising, I'm just curious, I though I new enough about escopes and I'm missing something

I just downloaded this sound pack, nice, but I have a cuple of sugestions.
One thing I didn't really liked(<span style='color:red'>That's my personal opinion
</span>) is the destroyed sounds, it don't feel like if they are powerfull enough, that may be me, but I think for a vehicle explosion it could sound more like an explosion.My second sugestion, could you do a pack without the weapons sounds, small arms I'm about, so I don't get any conflicts with InQuisitors weapons mod.
I really like the pack I got from Goldmember, Inquisitor+blood+ exploMod, and I adding a few things to it, like vehicles and units, so they'll play in the campaigns and single missions, like the UCE Soviet soldiers, or the 5T truck from Marfy.
So if I can use your pack without the small arms sounds I will have a total personal conversion of my game. I like the sounds that Inquisitor added to his pack and I wouldn't like to change them.
Next estep is to change the textures of the rest of the West trucks to Euro camo, that will be more dificult.

JPG textures are not so bad if they get used in the right way, for example, first person view. But the rest of the views should be using PAA or PAC. I got a decent machine now, but a month and a half ago I didn't. I was allright with Inquisitor weapons, maybe was luck, maybe I had a graphics angel looking after my playability, but to make it fare it should be JPG just on first person and PAC or PAAa on the rest, so everyone could play nicely.
This is not my idea by the way.
Oh, to stay on the original subject. This MP5 is rader nice, as long as the mission maker probide strait links to the page with the addons it shouldn't be a problem. With a file size that small it could be inclouded in the mission file, if is a small mission file.

I'm getting a floating dead gunner when the vehicle is on a stop, ofcourse, after I killed the gunner

I noticed it that with another different addon, can it be fixed?
I don't see it to be too important, but is just that it don't look right.
I really needed this addon by the way. nice one.

This is starting to get really confusing...what is the most up to date version of this addon?...the bug fix.zip?? ...or theGMR_ exploMODv1.31
...maybe try to keep it alittle more compact?...just a thought.I can't agree with you more than I'm doing now.

Hey Acecombat, its a cuple of bugs in this addon, they can just give you a error message and carryon playing or crash you to desck top. My PC crashed that bad that allmost burn my room.
JK.I only noticed ones while I was fooling around in the editor, but is things like the inmortall gubber and so on. Things that can be and are fixed, but we just wayting for a release by ider Rifleman, Fighter or whoever.

About time somebody make some more stuff for the Resistance side.
It would be nice to see a cuple of vehicles in this pack, some made up DIY vehicle or something like that, I think you guys know what I'm about. But I think you are concentrating on soldiers and weapons, so...
I don't had any problems with InQuisitors weapons in my old PC, and now even less, but I agree that to make it fare they should be made into PAC.
The RPG from Kegetys is been modified by a guy call Tanelorn, you can check it out here.
It change the grenades to two different ones, armour and personell, has a different sight sistem and its just niiiiiiiiiiice. It may help you on something.
I like the RPK74 or the 47, I think it gives Resistance a bettter gerrilla fealing wen equiped with one of them in a little squad.
I sugest you to give some different uniforms to the resistance, something a bit less uniformal, like botons and tops that don't mach, different tipes of camo on the same soldier, and maybe mixed up with civilian close, just to make it more like a reall world resistance. The problem is that this would make it a big pbo

Is just a cuple of sugestions that you may you may not consider, but so far so good. It looks really nice.

It may be a sugestion, but I'm not saying that it shouldn't be made.
If something like that would be good for you, surely it would be good for someone ellse aswell. And if you really like the idea, why don't you fight to get it made.
I allready gived you my personal opinion, it is, after all, my personal opinion.
So get some skills if you don't have them allready( modelling, drop comand, etc) and make it true.
I may be wrong in my own personal opinion, and it end up being the best thing sense sliced bred.

Don't let people bring you down because of theyr own personal opinions, like I said, after all, they only are personal opinions.

I have to agree with crunchy frog, is not too bring you down or anything like that, I think it could be a good idea with alot alot and again alot of changes in the game and new revolutionary addons.
You have to think that OFP is a war simulation game. There for, the 99.9% of players are people that likes to shoot things around or comand a squad(at list or platoon and be strategicall agains the machine or another human player.
I can't see many people playing with fire fighters for long, they'll probably open them on the editor to check them out and end up puting a sniper as the player and shooting a bunch of fire figters to see if they have new animations or they shout while they dying.
Good idea, but like some one ellse said, a multi-band radio that actually worcks would be more interesting.
Sorry mate, I'm not trying to bring you down or anything, I'm sure you would enjoy playing a mod like that, but that's my opinion. If you wanna see something like that, you better organice something yourselfe.

Notice that he suplie an unscripted copy of his configuration. That can be really handy if you want to change some units on the game the same way he changed the weapons. Well, not just units(soldiers), you can change anything, vehicles, armour, air, whatever, even sounds, hint hint...
I have to say that InQuisitor hited on the right spot with the weapons sounds, so that won't be necesary to change. Tallcking about weapon sounds, notice that if you are using any of UCE's units, UCE's weapons are just retextured BIS weapons with BIS sounds, well with this mod the sounds change to the ones installed by InQuisitor.
The alteration of the configuration file can be very flexible and can bring alot of changes to your installed version of the game, but I sugest you and everybody to do so on a mod folder, so if you get ckiked out of multiplayer or you screw up the game, you can use the normal configuration fille instead.

BTW, This gos very well with the H&K pack aswell, no the dessert units ofcourse.

We would have a problem when it comes to things like mixing the Inquisitor weapons pack and some of the sounds pack, because the weapons pack have its own sounds paths in the confi for the weapons, and we would get a conflict in there, well, that's my theory, but I may be wrong. Besides, I like the Inquisitor sounds far enough to change them with another one.
Tallking about sounds. I been trying to get some new sounds and sounds from other addons into a folder that can be call by the configuration, at the moment this will be for my own use, cos I'm using alot of sounds from addons, like the tank sounds from the M1A1 from Marfy, or the hit sounds from the Danish Army Addons M16A2 addon. So if I was going to release something with this sounds I should ask the creators of them first, and as things are going now I rader make my own ones if I was willing to release this sounds to the comunity.

The "super configuration project" is been on the air for a while now, but we getting new stuff for the game day by day, Explo Mod, Blood addon, InQuistors high detail weapons pack, Salesians retextured vehicles and armour, FatWombat's retextured terrains, dinamic sound range, etc, etc...
I don't think it would be so difficult to implement all this in a mod folder, a mod folder with just one configuration file.
I don't have a clue on what to look for in a conf file and what should I change, but I know that the explo mod is been put togueder with the blood addon and InQuisitors weapons pack and it works as a treat.
So, how about someone dedicate to create and update all this stuff? A mod with all this stuff and more?
Here is a little list with some of the "stuff" I'm tallking about.
Salesians retextured vehicles.
FatWombat's retextured terrains.
UCE's retextured normal Soviet infantry.
Marfi's 5T truck with euro camo.
Inquisitor's MI24 in euro camo.
Tigershark and Jellybelly MH-60G Pave Hawk in euro camo.
Sigma tanks.
Blood addon.
Explosions mod.
Inquisitor's weapons pack.
Maybe the dinamic sound pack.
That's some of the stuff I would add to the file. I know is more and more addons and modifications around, but I can't think right now.
BTW I'm not thinking about dessert or things like that, just the addons that respect the original BIS campaign idea and enviorament.
Any other stuff I should think about?

O yes, I forgot about this topic.
Frenchman, this ones would do nice, but they are international units, no markings or any thing, and I think they may look out of place in comparison with UCE's normal retextured Soviet infantry, but, again, I may decide to experiment and finally learn to worck with texture programs and put some missing stuff on them, at list some pro wanna do such an easy job for the comu.
FatWombat, you should ask Silesian about woking togueder.He is been releasing some nice reskined addons that replace the original BIS addons with really nice textures.
If the bouth of you work togueder( You on terrains, Salesian on Vehicles) we could have a really nice modificated OFP.
Well, once FW gets Kolgujev out, he's redone all the islands. And they can be used independently or combined with Silesian's work by anyone.
So, cooperation isn't needed and the contribution has already been made (pending New Everon's release today or tomorrow).
I know, and you are right on that, but we need some filles to make a decent mod folder that will replace the original textures only in one mod folder, and if they come in contact and worck in that, it would be alot less hassle for everyone.
I noticed that to replace the textures in a mod folder all you have to do is to create the addons folder in it with the Salesian's addons, and it will change the original pbos with the new retextured ones, but I don't know how stable this can be when more addons are added to the mod folder. If that worcks fine we could have a nice retextured OFP mod folder for single player and the standart for multy player.
I didn't had chance to check the terrains textures, but I didn't got any error messages when using the short cut for this retextured mod folder.
I'm starting a topic in Addons discusion about all that stuff that can be done for people to come with ideas, cos at the moment I'm using the ExploMod with Blood and InQuisitors HDWeapons, but I can't get the new terain textures to worck with all that, it gives me errors all over the place.
So if we can get all this people togueder and build a nice modification(High resolution textures on everything+sounds and effects) we could get it done alot quicker.
