    If someone could get permision from Lovo Team to change a cuple of textures here and there, remove the German flag, change the configuration so they use some other weapons without needing to download the hall H&K pack, and you can have a really good RPF for the Nogova police.

    That Land Rover would be my first beta version which has since been binned and a new one made from scratch.

    I love the first pack, so for you to scrap them and start a new pack from scrach must meen something...

    A much much better pack.

    They look rader sexy on them pics.

    Poor guy. If it's an adult person I think he need some psycological assistance just to explain what is the difference between real life and virtual life. If you lose money stop to do addons because for me making something outside my job like addons/missions/script/program/web page/etc.... is just for FUN and to relax my mind. If I feel I lose money or my nerve on it I stop.

    Good point.

    If I was a addons maker I would do it as a hobby, the same way I make missions, for fun, in my spare time.

    My wife and kids come first, then work, friends, and then OFP, I only would loose money if I was buying something to do with my hobby, the same way you would expend money to buy a new line for your fishing rod, but no by loosing hours of work, no way.

    Is that the reason why I would not pay for an addon made by someone’s hobby or pass time.

    Oh, and I should sugest to be able to use this addon without having to have other addons present in the addons folder.

    Many people here don't like to download and install lots of addons that are neaded to run the one you one, in this case the original GAZ model to run DM police ones, but I supose this is not as easy as it sounds. I would expect DM to release this addon independent from the original.

    It must be a propper reason why.

    In my case I don't really care because I like the original addon anywhere. wink_o.gif

    The sound is not so important.

    In the different countries different sound signals were used - everyone is glad to hear to what has got used.

    I was interested much more with lacks with illumination and wrong work of the control panel on mine GAZ with the new version script's from DeadMeatXM2. At inclusion of Light only, the panel turns out pivoted. And now I think, how to change it so that to you the download the final version GAZ, it was not required to update this addon.

    In my opinion - these problems now it is more important, than a sound.

    I think this should be one of the main things to think about.

    I didn't actually noticed this my selfe, but I'll check it in a minute to make sure I understand what MOHAX is saying.

    I love the vehicles and the siren sound suts it really well, have in consideration that this GAZ is not a new car, and that the Nogovan police forces probably been using them for a while, so it makes sense and sound more reall to me.

    A bus would be great, but even better if the windows where protected by a mesh or something, and if DM have the time( witch I doubt) he could add a modeled protection panel to go on the front, on the windscreen. Is normally resting on top of the vehicle when not in use, but you normally se them in police bans.

    Tallking about bans, it would be nice to see some decent bans in OFP, hint hint...

    BTW, instant translaters are not that good, are they? biggrin_o.gif

    I'm working on something and I want to use Russia as the good guys and Resistance as the naughty buggers, all that have to be in the jungle, so, if the guys in BAS who made the La-Drang map let me use it, I will be using this for terrain.

    But I need some decent Russians in jungle gear.

    Any ideas of where to find them?

    I looked in alot of places, and I was hoping to get some in OFPEC, but nothing satisfactory, and I could do with just a reskined ones.

    I wish Laser release his Naval infantry and espets in jungle... wink_o.gif  rock.gif hint hint...

    Yeah, rivers, bridges, and winter version. That's the main, don't think maybe, be the first to create a island addon with two versions in the same download. biggrin_o.gif

    At list it would be nice, and I know this 3 things are probably the most difficult ones to do, well, a winter version would need a full texture face-lift, and I can imagine the work on all that crazy_o.gif

    Kegetys was working on a winter version of Nogova, but he had some probs with BIS, to do with copy rights on "Resistance".

    That's why you never seen a variation of Nogova, no winter, no dessert, nothing...

    I wish I had a winter version, because it would be great to be able to create a campaign using Nogova that can be set in different times of the year, the same goes for some other really nice island addons, I wish the authors could have the time and patience to create different versions of their islands where you can have autumn, winter, spring and summer.

    Excuse my spelling.

    Edit.... bty, we all have joined this forums in the same time of the year or what,  ghostface.gif apart for Silesian and bn880.

    That would be nice, especially if you think about Earl and Suchey's mod, their weapons will be JAM, and the East units looks very promissing, I can see this worcking very well with Lasers units too.

    Just imagine...

    BAS: Deltas, Rangers, Seals, SOAR pilots, plus all the revel and East units they are worcking on.

    E&S: USMC, Russian Naval infantry, maybe Spetsnazs.

    Laser:Spetsnazs, Naval infantry.(If they become JAM)

    What ellse, what ellse? ...

    What ellse we need?

    I love JAM, not just the one in the jar. biggrin_o.gif
