  1. Are you using the OFP tool manager? I can't get the damm thing to work. Back to topic. Is this resistance units going to be inclouded in the FIA mod aswell? Because that was the original idea, wasn't it? So, if is going to be like that, I will download the ones from the FIA mod. Now, are you two working togueder enough to keep the same names on the units so any possible made missions will still be playable after the FIA mod release? Thanks.

    I was on my way to create a few training missions for fire arms. Seems like alot of people takes them for granted. On short firing ranges its ok, you can shoot anything and you will hit the target, but when you are trying to hit a target using a weapon with a PSO tipe sight, thinking is a must, and experience. Sadly, I haven't come with a single addon that use this sights that makes justice to the reall life ones, not even the JAM ones. http://www.binocularsmart.com/scopes....osp.gif This picture above is self explanatory, and I have to say that I tryed this system all the times in OFP and never worked. I even used another soldier grouped with me so I can tell him how far the target is, so I make sure that is 1000 metres away, or whatever, and no, not good. So, see if we can get a decent working 7.62 with PSO scope that works nice. Â Edited picture to link.

    Thanks for that. I was looking for it all over the place, but is not in the page you gived me But, I finally got it, just the info, I got some info here and here Is actually call BMD M1979 by NATO. Is not an existing addon for that, so this Airborne troops addon could add something like it on its next updated version. Maybe a cuple of other vehicles aswell? @CERO

    Rearming ai choppers

    I'm not a scripter, but I know that, it may help you. Any thing that gets camcreated should have a name, at list in triggers and waypoints, so it should be in scripts aswell, lets hoppe. In this example, "mocoloco" is the name, so all you have to do is find what names have been used for this camcreated choppers. But, again, I'm not a scripter, so I may be wrong. Good luck.

    Going by some of the information on the link below, they seem to use the BTR-D, the BMD-2 and the BMD-3. Is a nice BMD-3 in the APC pack, and the BMD-2 should't vary much from the BMD-3, so I'm not so bother. Now, the BTR-D, the newest BTR addon I seen is the BTR-80. Is the BTR-D suposed to be a newest model? Should we need a BTR-D addon, or the current BTR-80 from the apc pack should do? Thanks. @CERO.

    Realistic explosion mod  v1.1

    Yes, like theavonlady say. I'm running the Blood addon, InQuisitor's weapons and the Explo mod, all in the same configuration bin. the results are amazing. Playing the campaigns all over again with this additions is like playing a brand new OFP. But you have to choose what will sut you best. I wouldn't recomend my setup to slow end computers, it can get your cpu a bit stressed.in big battles with all this explosion going on, plus, if you use the Inquisitor weapons, on a low graphics card would be like lagg hell with all them jpg skins. I would like to change the textures to paa or pac, kiping the first person view on jpg. It would make it alot more smooth. The blood addon is great when implemented in the configuration. If you are sniping with a scoped weapon... what can I say, is just mad.

  9. That mins that all you have to do is paste the ones from the addon and they will replace the ones from BIS? They all have the same names? I uses mod folders too. Thanks in advance. @CERO.
  10. Nice( wipe dribble from chin) I deffinitly will replace the resistance soldiers with this, If I got the time to. I'm still trying to work it out. Someone should write a tutorial, like what parametres have to be replace, compression and saving tools, etc. It shouldn't be too complicated to do for a master Back to topic. I noticed that while using the Explo mod with the blood addon configuration bin, this resistance units don't get afected by the blood addon, no fancy blood on this units, just the standart BIS blood. What is different between the configurations of the BIS resistance and this units. Apart of the textures and the weapons, is anything different? Thanks. @CERO

    I would hate if this topic dies off. I think is alot of potenciall in here. No one has come with a prove that this won't work, and it don't look like if anybody is trying to experiment on it. Or at list no body said so. If this could work it can open alot of dors for other addons. Now days, nothing is impossible.

    Yes, but I never use it. I uninstalled two days after release. The addon name "Ruger Mini 14 Custom" by Acecube. Nice weapon and concept. Is for the resistance side.

    I would like to see a new Vietnam inpirated map, but one that is ficticional, so we can use it for other things than Vietnam missions, like Borneo for example.

    So, the problems so far, sighting, animations, the way to call the addon into action( wiil have to be the action menu), conflict with another weapons sight??? This is just my sugestions, or what I (as a player, one more from the thousends in the comunity) would be happy with. I'm allso saying that I'm not an addon maker or anything, and all my sugestions or ideas are based on things that I read or I think that they are common sense. So here we go. The binocular or monocular or spoting scope, could be made like that. -Make a pistol that looks like a set of binoculars. -Don't create any kind of amunition for it and don't create any sound files for firing, dry, or change magazine, because is not a weapon -create a sight picture like if you were going to use a scope for the weapon. Make it as a monocular or a binocular shape. As far as I know, it can be on any shape color and form, so a binocular shape should be possible. -you can add a mil-relation formula reticle to it and make it really something worth and speciall. Like the one in this pic. -For the animation. Well, I think that it shouldn't be a problem, it have to be a way to script it so that the unit uses the binocular animation when this addon is used, or even better, create a whole new animation, and find or create or get someone to create a script that call this animation when the addon is selected. -The way to call the addon into action (make the unit use it). I would be happy if it was the same way you would call what it really is, a secondary weapon, but it wouldn't be a weapon Last problem I can think so far? You wouldn't use iron sights(field sights) You would be using the scope. and the binocular, or whatever it will be, is a contained peace of gear on its selfe, so you don't have to drop a weapon, just swich from assault rifle to secodary, the binocular addon in this case. I think an addon like that would be ideal for multiplayer in particular, to have to players, one the sniper and the other the spoter, for example, and don't have them grouped togueder for whatever reason the mission editor decided no to group them. Live reall information of the target's distance, and anything that can be ovtained throught the binoculars, monoculars, etc, etc. Like I said above, I'm not a addon creator, not a scripter, so you masters of addon creation will probably prove me wrong in all the sugestions I presented here. After all, they are just sugestions, or should I say hopes. Thanks for the attention. @CERO.

    Bipod down or up??

    It change the entire weapon. If you put the camo on, on InQuisitor's M24, you have to reload mag after the action, because is changing the weapon but not the magazine. I would like to see that done with the bipod aswell, and probably somebody comes with an update on the script that makes the weapon to reload with the same magazine that was left from the other one. It was another weapon addon that was using a red dot sight and a scope, you change views throught the menu, and you would have a full mag everytime you change the sight system until you cach up with the used magazines, but I didn't liked the idea because you get a bit lost on how many bullets are left on the magazines. You may reload you last mag to find that is only 2 rounds left in it.

    That's the way SpaceAlex, this way everybody will be happy. @ Theavonlady. So, I can have a campaigns folder in the mod folders? wow, that got to be a must. Thanks darl BTW, I supose that the sound and voices folders must be in use by the Configuration.bin, telling the game where all this sounds are coming from. Is that the same principle as AMORE?

    Steyr and other weapons

    The NVG and thermall stuff is a bad subject in OFP, to be onest with you. The NVG are hard coded and can not be made into a addon, the same go for the binoculars. Is another post about it in this section if you are interested in getting some "little" info. Try by cliking here.
