    Lol Pappy, I'm gonna cry Man, you kno's'it, sorry Newport brew. I am very impressed by this, because is true, every thing you just said, is just what I think about your mod, it reflects it very well, and that's the reason why we all like it, and why a magazine is so interested in it, this is not a "I want to be popular" thing, I can tell, this is alot of hours to improve two things, the gameplay and the most important one, the comunity.     Island or Continent?

    I haven't noticed this topic before, lol. I voted for a peninsula, but it could be used as a continent aswell. I was thinking about something like the Caucasus area that is between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, with a bunch of mountanious terrains in between, alot of gerrilla fighting happaning in there. It don't have to be based in the Caucasus, I'm only using it as an example. Map. Regards. @CERO.

If you guys noticed, special forces use them very often, the main two reasons are: -CQB, fighting in small areas, rooms and all that, most of the times they will have a tactical beam attached to it to fire in the dark or in areas full of smoke or other gasseous that restrict vissivility. The tactical beam( torch) its ceroed like the sights or a laser, so you know that the area the beem is iluminating its going to be covered by the amunition of the weapon, its not just to be able to see, its allso a reference on fast reaction aiming and firing, so the but stock will be folded for easy of moviment in close cuarters. -Lightness, its very usual for special forces to carry more than an assault weapon, for example, carring a G3 with folded stock, plus an MP5, plus a hand gun, and even sometimes they carry a shotgun aswell, making this a huge amount of weaponrry and amunition to be carried at the same time, the folding stocks of skelleton type give some relief. I'm not tallking crap, or trying to look clever, I just happan to be a fan of SAS literacy and have readed alot of books about them; my mates things that I should read something ellse or one day I will star acting funny... I allso like to see things like that ingame, it gives you more variety and it looks very cool. About the folded LAW, I belive that there is one like that in the JAM 2 pack, I can't remember, but I think that I noticed when I was playing with one of the "modern American infantry" addon, and they use JAM.     Yes, very easy indeed, but the problem is, what would happan when the player selects weapon scope? will it replace the layer with its weapon's scope and then don't replace the effect layer? and if the layer gets replaced after the scope view its been canceled, will the scope view itselfe have the effect of the layer? Good idea, and I would like to see that, I can see many possible uses. Regards. @CERO.

    I'm gonna cry.... uff, lol, joking. I was thinking about making a DVD disc with the best stuff I have downloaded so far for OFP, and then I thought about using an installer or something with a menu, like in the ones you get in the magazines, it would be a nice addition next to the 3 discs from OFP and yours. Can you do something like it for your mod?if you allready done so I would appreciate it if you could pass me the file to add it to the disc. I supose that you know what I'm tallking about lol. @CERO.

    No body needs to prove anything, they do it as a hobby, for free, so if they change their minds and never release a single addon again, then good for them, its their own choice. If the MG works or not you'll find about when it comes out, if you prefere to belive that they edited that video to full us all into thinking that multiweapons are possible in armour, I think its realy simple, you do something, then take pictures or make a video, then let people know that the OFP community stil well up for anything. Now, bak to RHS topic and cuting the crap off. Are you guys, by any chance, going to work in a resistance unit that can be used as enemy or friendly? I think that there is plenty of good West units, you lot are working in Russian and Soviet soldiers, so it would be nice to have some good resistance to kick about with the russian addons.     I been asking for a proper Stinger for bloody years now. Here is some info of the handling of a Stinger, see if anything can be applied by scripting or some other ways. If at list half of this happaned when you handling a Stinger, wouldn't this be cool? @CERO.

    Maybe you guys in the BDM want to have a look to this topic to give you some ideas for that AN-12. Nothing has been done yet, but I belive that my last sugestion in there could work. It would be nice to see that in the AN-12. Regards. @CERO.
  18. How about doing the cargo proxies like if the are standing up allready, ready to jump trought the ramp? In OFP you won't be traveling for ages, so even knowing that it sounds unreall it would look better in my opinion, just make the casrgo animations standing up and when the ramp opens in the air and you select eject it should look really cool, in theory Don't need to mess around with escripts. Then you could have two version of the plane if you like, one with standing up proxies and then call it "para drop" or something like that, and the other one with seating down proxies and you could call it "transporter" or something like that. Another thing could be to have a mix of bouth, and create a script that puts game logics in the standing up proxies and when the player or AI select "ready to jump" the proxies and the units swap proxies, so the units would be standing up. I think the harder part would be to modifie or create a plane with all this proxies, it would be twice as many proxies than normal, and then the script would be hard aswell, but after all I have seen around it wouldn't surprise me that one of you lot could make it work. It would be great to have this pack completly clean of bugs, and as far as I know that's the only bug present in the pack, but like I said in the previous page, all I have to do is avoid the sniper.     Yes, I thought that by looking at other lines with coments on them, thank you Rastavovich. But after I change a cuple of things here and there the problem persist. Right, this time I wayted to see what happaned, and I had a message. Out of memory basicly, but I couldn't take notes of it because I hade the bad idea of restarting before I toke notes of it This is a very unusual error, at list for me, and I'm wondering if the error its in the P3D instead that makes the memory feel up for some reason? I don't know. But I think that I won't be using this sniper Nothing wrong with the rest of the pack, and yes, I tryed without any other addons just incase there was a conflict with another one, so its a no no to the conflicted addons. Now, its anybody ellse here that have this problem with the Spetsnaz VSS sniper unit or its just me? can somebody ellse try it out and let me know please? Thanks everyone. And please, don't think that I'm trying to jeopardize DKM credibility or anything like that, I'm a fan of DKM and I love DKM's teams work and results. I find that the easyest way to make a perfect addon its by pin pointing possible errors and giving sugestions in design and production, so here its where I am. Thanks all for reading, and if someone can hellp I will appreciate it, if not the result will be simple, I'll just try to avoid the VSS spetsnatz sniper its a killer. lol. Regards. @CERO.

    Right, two things I noticed. Well I downloaded and redownloaded the damm thing, untill finally convincing my selfe that the download its the right one and that the file its ok, and then I read Rastavovich post, damm, what a waste of time downloading twice  Thanks Rastavovich, now I know that it suposse to be like that The error seems to be just in the Spetsnaz VSS sniper, whenever I try to play with him the game freezes, so in the configuration I noticed this: Its this line a problem that would make the VSS sniper unplayable? It seems to be misplaced to the left of the configuration, and to be onest with you I never seen that in a soldier configuration, but I don't have much experience with configurations, so I may be wrong If tha'ts the problem, how I fix it? Hang on, I'm gona try to move it to the right and see if that will do... I'll edit this post in a minute. Edit, damm it, how do you compress that? I thought it would be able to get made into a pbo with stuff pbo, but of course, its not a folder stupid me, how do you make this configuration pbo? how do you compresse it? Thanks. Or if you guys think that this is the problem, can somebody post a fixed configuration pbo? please Thanks. @CERO.

    I'm redownloading the latest RSC, but I'm sure I have 1.5. What I don't understand is that I'm sure there was only one pbo in the VIT apc pack, and now when I download the exe it instal 3 pbos, I disregard the RSC pbo that comes in the VIT apc exe and see what's up. I'll check it tonight, I got to go to work now. Thanks. @CERO.

    Hi all, got a problem and as much I think about it I can't seem to find the answer. I had VIT APC pack 1.4 instaled and it was working great, then I had to reinstall OFP and while reorganizing all the addons I have in my HD I seem to have deleted 1.4 and I had to get it back from a CD that I had with it in it. For my surprisse, it wouldn't appear in the editor, then I realized that it may be 1.3 instead of 1.4, so I redownloaded 1.4 from the DKM site and reinstaled the addon. When I used the vitapc_14_full.exe it installs 3 pbos, the VITAPC.pbo, the DKMM_RSC.pbo and the vitapc_config.pbo, I can not recall having this configuration pbo before BTW. However, the most of the units and vehicles I tryed in the editor works fine, but when I select the VSS sniper and press preview, the game freezes in the blak screen where it says "Get ready", and after a good while it crash to desktop. Notice that I haven't done anything different to what I done before when it used to work nicely, and that I allso noticed that there wasn't a readme included in the instalation. Is it me? or I got the wrong file? Thanks in advance fellas. @CERO.
