I also have this problem now...
I'm in the mission "razor two" and i can't continue! Everytime i load the saved game, it runs 20 seconds fine and then ArmA2 freezes!
There's no errormessage in the background! If i Ctrl+Alt+Delete i can see that arma2 is still running with ~50% cpu usage and 800MB RAM of 8192MB are in use by arma2.exe
Tabbing back to it doesnt work, i have to terminate the prozess.

I've found a BUG...
With the soundmod enabled, the M119 doesn't have ammunition at all!
If i remove the mod, it works well.
I didnt test other artillery units, maybe its not the only one affected.

1st your new 0.7 release is really incredible! Thanks for the new short blastflash in explosions.
I have a suggestion for future releases...
The muzzleflashes of all handheld weapons in vanilla ArmA are really horrible at night! The muzzleflashes seem to be a stupid imagefile that loops while shooting without any change! For example: If you permanently shoot a M249 at night you see a still standing muzzleflash.
Would be nice if it could be redone...

Aircraft sounds for me are almost non-existant when in cockpit view for me. Is this the case for everyone or is it a known bug. I think the sounds starts off normal then drops away all of a sudden.You move to 3rd person view and everything is normal again until you switch back to cockpit.
Can anyone shed some light for me?

i have exactly the same problem, i guess ArmA beta 1.11 has something to do with it... compatibility issues with FDF1.3?!?

Well, i guess its a nvidia issue, because ArmA runs with 4GB Ram on Vista x64 with old 158.45 drivers... But i also have to say that arma doesn't use the most favor gameengine... No other game(engine) causes such trouble with nvidia gpu's like arma does...
however, all other games im currently playing working without any trouble in connection with 4GB and remapping.

hmm, sometimes the rangefinder doesnt work and displays anything about 166799 or similar...
i droped it and picked it up again and it worked well.
I was playing the SF Recon unit which has the marker by default.
after the re-pickup the O/R function caused the error mentioned in above post.

You all have to REMOVE the PREVIOUS MOD folder BEFORE you install the NEW VERSION. Older pbo's will cause errors.

The only real bug or annoying thing i find is, at least i think, when there is an ammo crate in the mission that contains extra laser markers or units with lasers, you get multiple range/mark in your action list. So the counting should be player only...i can confirm this... really annoying...

When the hellfire detonates, it creates a blast flash (after it has penetrated the tanks wall) and blows some hot stuff (cant remember what exactly it is) into the tank to create a secondary chainreaction explosion by its ammunition.
If you would fire a hellfire missile into a metal box, there would not be much visible from blast...

If you would spectate the scene (video above) from behind this metal wall (if it were bigger) you could not see very much about the fireflash created by missile...

Your NWD_SightAdjustmentPlugin gives me an error (click ok and it go through) in mp each time I play a mission (You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted. nwd_sightadjustmentplugin) and if the addon is on the server, no mission can be launched at all.Can you change your cfgpatches to

I know some of those shouldn't have such a bright explosion, but some explosive weapons do. Hellfires definitely explode with a huge fireball, at least in the footage I have seen.i guess in the footage the hellfire hit a target, and the targets ammo explodes.
i reduced the fireanim size effect of the standard explosions by my self, now it looks as i wish, so i'm really happy with it.
your mod is one of my favorites, but i found one more bug...
if you shoot a grenade high against a building, the explosion will be on the right position, but the smokeanimation will be on the ground.

i messed around with the raintextures some time ago... its sad that BIS hadnt implemented propper rain to the gameengine. rain are just stupid textures running from top to bottom along the screen, even if you are indoor. And rain looks horrible at 01:00 o'clock when everything's dark than rain.

but if i play online and use it in connection with sightadjustment i get an errormessage when picking up a m107.
Telling me that the mission is based on content that has been removed or something regarding NWD_sightadjustmentplugin... well. if i click "ok" im still able to continue...
is it a bug, or a issue on my side?

in dukes screenshot i noticed the cut of the texture between upper and lower edge. (you have to watch the hires picture in 100% zoom, above the mountains)

Things i love:
- new explosive ammo effect (Vulcan,KA-50 HE ammo).
- new tank muzzleflash.
Things I dont like:
- grenade explosion smokeanimation seems to be imo to slow.
- building collaps low dense of smoke
- explosion "blastwave" smokeeffekt doesnt look good when spectating it from above (heli)
- some weapons should not explode with a huge "fireball": Hellfire, FFAR, sabot

It was already annoying in ArmA1, sadly they didn't change it for ArmA2.
I guess an effectscript like afterburner would look awesome for muzzleflashes. But i also think this would create insane lag ingame.
I hope BIS or the community will replace it soon with a nice alternative.
