I guess that two pbos in one zip (or whatever you're gonna use), would be the best solution especially if you plan to upgrade either soldiers (maybe desert MARPAT, who knows) or the weapons in further future. Having two pbos would also allow to use a DKM addonmenager to save some RAM.

I can't think of any converted CS model among very best OFP weapon addons... Well, maybe late Quakegamer's AWP and SIG rifles, but i guess they were eventualy completly redone.

Let's do it this way: point few thingies you'd like to have in the next official addon. And if something you want has been already mentioned, then do it again so support for this very weapon shall get stronger. Here are my types: - M249 SAW - M4 Carabine with M203 and Scope - FN-FAL - RPK 74 - OC-14 "Groza"

Think that somebody should give resistance forces weapons that don't come from Russians. I would create a lot of new possibilities in mission/campaing making.

What about lerge caliber sniper rifles such as american Barrett and russian V-94 or SVN-98? Would they improve gameplay or would they be just useless crap not fitting into story line?

After Addonpack no. 3 the situation looks this way: Western forces have 3 scoped assault rifles (XMS, Steyr, G36) and Russians don't have any. Think that it doesn't improve the balance of the game neither in single nor multiplayer. Maybe BIS should do something about it? I'd like to have OC-14 Groza, but if we want to stay in 80s please just put a scope on one of the AK rifles as I got tired of their covering half of screen sights.

Does anyone of you guys know for sure that some day BIS will relase another official addon? Maybe the 1.30 was th very final one... No more horrible ideas needed... Well?

I could agree with ran and Pete when it comes to multiplayer aspect of OFP. But don't forget that OFP is great single player experience and here many assault riflles (even with basically the same characteristics) would play much gerater role than in multiplayer game. So why M4 when we have m16 with m203? Simply becouce most of special forces in the use that gun. Let's say we want to create a mission where Seal team attacks guerrillas' camp. M4 with M203 is a MUST for that kind of mission. Why FN-FAL? Simply becouse it's a Kalashnikov of free world! However, the reason why i mentioned "Groza" is much more practical. Western forces have 3 scoped assault rifles, and Russians don't have any. Think that would improve even multiplayer games. Sure I agree that OFP needs more heavy MGs and AT/AA guns or even large caliber sniper rifles, but I'm kind of assault weapons freak and that's my view.
