    looking for a script..

    You could make a trigger covering the zone you wish artillery to fall and chose BLURFOR detected by OPFOR repeatedly and then in an artillery script you should be able to use _this select 0 as where the enemy were spotted in that zone to call shells to that point.

    No Entry error...

    Thanks a lot, checked the mission.sqm and removed any references and now it works. Thanks. Edit - Hmmm maybe not, after saving the mission.sqm after removing references of vehicle="" the mission will load okay but when I click play it will throw me back to the eidtor with the error already posted.

(Not sure if this goes here or Troubleshooting) I have this error message when I try and load a mission <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">No Entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles.'. This error also stops me from playing the mission as it just throws me back to the editor with that message. Is it possible to find out what is causing the error and well fixing it?

    SQF revive script

    How would I make this so that once you are killed you have like 30-60 seconds to be revived only by a medic but if a medic does not get to you in time then you will just die and a respawn script that I already have just kicks in and does the rest from there?
  6. I know this is possibly more of a mission related problem but I can't see why it would happen. Basically I have a mission which I have made which now that when I play it in the editor it will always give an error message (Just a generic message the whole Send error report or Dont send one) However if I save the mission as a multilayer mission (since its an MP mission) and then try to play it, it will work perfectly fine without any problems) It's only when I click preview in the editor that it will crash and this doesn't happen with any other mission. Does anyone know why it might do this? Edit - Found out its down to an addon but not sure which cause I have so many, is there something that tells you the last thing ArmA tried to do before it crashed? There was something in OFP as far as I can remember. So is there one in ArmA that would by some chance tell me what addon it failed upon loading?

    VFAI - AI Extension

    Is there any chance of checking the distance that the AI was hit from, I see it sometimes when I shoot an AI soldier from about 20 metres away and then he starts throwing some smoke and it lands behind me. Other then that the pack is awesome.

  9. Erm sorry to dig this back up but I have a problem which is really starting to bug me a bit. Is it is possible to have all voices the same level of volume, for me when in a heavy gun fight I can't actually hear what is being said all I hear is beep beep from the end of each message. Maybe make all voices the same volume as the player as when I say something in a fight I can hear myself just no one else. Is there a way to fix this? Cheers. (The same goes for the combat variant of this addon EVA)

    Fair enough, but is there anychance you can tell me which are the rifle to pistol and pistol to rifle animations are in the config so I can alter them for my own use?

    I've just been playing warfare and I think the switching to pistol and rifle transitions are still a little bit slow. Could they be sped up a little bit?

    1st Infantry Division

    Any chance of fat looking units? The second picture from olemissrebel you can see that the gear and all that comes quite a far way off his body and the trousers are quite a bit baggy, where as in ArmA all units seem to be stick thin and all their gear is really thin too. Just a little suggestion which I think would look pretty cool.
  16. Well after having a go with both this release and the game play version I have noticed that it overrides my replacement of the BLUFOR units (Not tested for OPFOR) I'm using Cameron McDonald's ACU dudes and when I disable all of True mods addons then the replacement will work again.

    Operation Flashpoint 2 officially announced

    Wow just watched the trailer and it looks AWESOME If game play is half as good then watching the trailer then its gonna be a great game. I'm sure there will be an editor cause if Codemasters gave a shit about Flashpoint then they will have realised the best parts was the editor and modability of the game so I'm sure it will be in the final game, or at least I hope so.

    Erm I have a slightly strange question... is it possible to run a game not in full screen but also not in the resolution of my desktop? I want to run a game that runs in 1024x768 where as my desktop is 1280x1024 but I also want this game to be in window mode? Is this possible?

    After flying around on an island in a UH60 I have noticed that the script allows you to pick up vehicles that already have crew in such as enemy tanks. Not sure if its intentional that you could pick up an enemy vehicle which is manned.
  20. Just wondering how the new JTD mod effects is used in conjunction with Madmatts and ECS effects? Where does it need to go in the mod folder order to get the best effects from JTD, Madmatts and ECS basically?

    High Definition Tropic Island

    Wow I expected to have 1 fps even on my computer but its nice and smooth with everything on very high. There are some places where grass and trees are slightly on the roads but that might have been intended to give a slightly over grown jungley type feel. I would have loved a swamp on the island but its no biggy and maybe some small basses dotted around the island, I've found two but some more would be great. Cracking job Linker A beautiful island with lots of vegetation and ever good frame rates.
  22. @Emryse Yep thats how they should look, I thought the same as you at first but I grew to like them. They stil don't beat VBS2 tracers but I'm starting to accept something like them isn't going to happen in ArmA. A few suggestions that I have for the thread... Russian voices - replaces the SLA with Russian voices which although they might not be Russian its nice to have the other side speak in a different language. RVN Compas mod - Currently my favourite compass addon, realy big and easy to read. Functional iron sights for AT weapons - the ironsights on AT weapons now actually work instead Currenty using them along side everything on the first page and no problems.

  24. Well I'm looking for a clan to join... obviously... I'm 17 and just looking for a mature but rather relaxed clan that use tactics to create an enjoyable atmosphere. Had a quick look through some of the pages but not really seen a clan that intrests me so I thought why not let the clan come to me
