    In light of the t-64 pack release...could you please please please include the ambiant radio sounds from arma xtreme 1.3 in your t-90?? (or something close to it maybe) I myself as a rusky tanker just couldn't bring myself to jump outta the t-72 cause I missed the emmersion of the radio sounds in the background.Just a thought.

    Nice tanks...But how do we get the ambiant radio sounds in Arma xtreme 1.3 to apply to these tanks??I mean we're kinda spoiled now with both emersion sounds and laseing capability in the t-72.Anyway to get the radio sounds to apply until the NWdog stuff is applicable??

    NW Dog...is there any way we can get a quick and dirty intergrated update inorder to test your mode in arma xtreme1.3? I'm really really missing the ambiance, textures and command interface that we get in that mod. hmmmm...forget above post...I just loaded a multiplayer lan mission arma xtreme and it worked???Strange it didn't show up before?

    I also noticed that in the editor while doing a test run,when engageing 3 M1A1's with T-72,All the abrams had their barrels pointing in the air and wouldn't engage me...I drove right up to them and blasted them at point blank range,they never fired a shot.It was like they couldn't lower their barrels???I then disabled the mod, re-ran the test and all was normal.What would cause them to be looking into the sky like that?The really strange thing though is that when using the mod with a pre built mission,the abrams were acting as they should.I wonder if it has to do with having a friendly AI on the map??hmmm..I think I'll re-do the test,only this time have a "wingman" to see if the outcome changes. Nope...same thing with a wingman.

    Are you using arma extreme?..if you are the optics won't show,this mod release version is only set up for default BIS tanks.

    Ah..ok...good to know.I thought maybe I screwed up somewhere.This really is a milestone for this game btw.Can't wait for a T-90/T-80 to cruise in.I wonder how different their FCS's are?

    Opteryx,...Thats exactly what I see. My install is patched to latest patch with queens gambet,also running arma extreme. I've noticed a couple things...any other tank other than the default ,neither the newer optics(old ones showup) or the laseing capabilites show on the tank,But DO show on default but also on external views..With arma extreme,there no optics what so ever.I too have added the event handelers to my @NWD_TankFCS folder.Dunno If thats correct or not? Â External views as opposed to turned out views is what I mean btw.Turn outs are fine.

    cool thanks dude...also,I can't seen to get this to work with arma extreme1.3...too bad too cause the ambiant sounds would work soo well with this mod.Can ya look into that nonwonder dog???

    opteryx,could you show me an external shot of your t-72 to compare to mine...I have the optics overlaid on all externals of the tank and I'm wondering if somethings gone screwy with my install.

    Are the optics supposed to be seen overlaid in the external views??...and I don't see any "black matting" in the gunsight?...this normal for the mod?I'm running Queens gambet expansion btw.Dunno if that makes a difference or not?

  14. As far as the lase goes...wouldn't it be determined on weither or not your joystick had keyboard emulation?...programable key function like on a hotas??

    WIP: stuff you are working on!

    Hmmm...Ive been workin on the Mi-28N as well...but since I'm working also in EECH ,maybe you'd wanna take this project over?Its pretty much done accecpt for getting it ported into the game.Then all it needs is it rivets and panel lines and what ever details ya feel it needs.I'll post a link of it in max in a few. This was a free download model that I've reworked and remapped.Its a pretty good jump off point I'd say for your project.And since It would take me along time to learn o2,and I have other projects on the go(mi-28 cockpit for one) maybe its better to let someone else take over.I can also send you the pit when its done as well.heres another shot [ig]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/Badger343rd/Havoc-1.jpg[/img] photoshopped of course,but ya get the idea

    Can someone tell me where the black masks that we see in the gunner/commander sight is located and can these be edited?I'd like to make so its alittle smaller and we can see some of the panel with buttons and switches showing.Would that be possible?

    Man what an excellant site!!...too bad it doesn't have an english translation.With the amount of info and photos ,I'd bet we could build the inside of these tanks in 3dmax and make panels in our commander and gunner views.

    Shouldn't this tank have big red light thingy's on the front...look like searchlights on each side of the barrel.IR sensors I think they are???Or is that a variant?

    Well,im sorta bouncing between this and NonWonderDogs thread and wonder if maybe you guys should be talkin and working together???Seems your doing the same thing ...kinda....sorta....ya know??heheh I mean whats gonna happen if we try to run these range finding modes together??...one for tanks,one for scopes and one for binocs???Will they conflict or will someone combine them so they don't??? just for a WILD example...I'm on a map commanding a tank,I have binocs and a sniper scope for a weapon with me..heheh...I jump out to scout a hill and see alot of infantry on the other side and decide to call in artillery...hahahha.sounds to me like the script functions in Arma is going to go NUTS!!hahahha

    NonWonderDog...I 've recently stumbled across these rangefinding threads in the context of tanking,...and noticed that there are others working on something similar. I gota wonder if there maybe should be some colaboration between you and the other modders working on the same thing? I can only assume you've seen the stuff in the other thread with the video??Would be nice to have the ultimate RangefindingBalisticDropDynamicLead  blah blah Tank sight that could be built..hehe nevermind I see that you are talkin to one another now...cool
