    sorry "podkoloL+n°" for each segment of the left track i didnt do this - does each section of the track have to be named too, both left and right? this i didnt do, could this be the problem? thanx

    thanx, i have already named the wheels, tracks, barrell, turrett etc the geo lod is simple and ive tried without it i tried to insert into the game as nonplayable empty but still, as the game begins " get ready" it crashes back to the desktop. i need an experts opinion on what they would do first to problem solve. Ive aken out the fire lod and geo lod and it still crashes. any more tips m8? 23PiLgRiM
  4. Hi can anyone out there spare a little time to help me get my model into OFP. I have a basic model of a FV107 Scimitar made in O2, unlike my other models types (car, heli) this model wont work it just crashes OFP. i have used a simple .cpp given by Swift88 of O.G.W.C MOD but the game still crashes. I take it that it is something to do with the names of items in the LOD`s. can someone put a quick tute together for me or point one out to me thats already been written. does the tracked vehicle have to have certain parts of the vehicle named for it to work or not, if someone could give me the very minium named parts required for the model to work ingame i would be very greatfull. also could someone explain where to put some of the memory LOD bits like turret rotation etc. thanx 23 PiLgRiM

    Demo models prob?

    Thanx everyone, i downloaded the above demo p3d`s and they work fine in o2, i must have the wrong demo version. I only wanted to look at some of bis`s models with tracks to get some idea of how they work. if anyone knows of any good tute`s for making tracks i`d be glad for the info. thanks again

    i used x pack, got the ` .p3d_ ` file still wouldnt load into oxygen, i get the error "unable to load file.Load error." what am i doing wrong?

    thank u very much for your reply, i have xpack and hav used it a few years ago (to get models into milkshape i think?) i thought it did the same as depbo/pbo tool etc. Im a noob with a long way to go!! thanx again

    Am i right in thinking that the models in the demo version of OFP canbe loaded into Oxygen? If so, then i have a problem. I extract the pbo using PBO Tool but the .p3d wont load into oxygen, any ideas why? Any tips would be greatly recieved thank you

    xlent!! thank you, ill give it a go. one more question - when i put a request out for someone to build a few very simple buildings for me, why didnt you reply? it took you minutes to do a wall and a small tute!!! you could have made my buildings in no time m8 P.s yes you should write tutorials thanx again

    the wall is fine, exactly what im looking for, but the finnished wall doesnt show me how you got there? can you give me a wuick explanation on how you did it. what is the best way to build a house, do you create a ablock the hollow it out or, build the four walls roof and floor seperatley? I have tried to load up the demo version of th dum_metso2.p3d but it wont load into 02 - my next prob.!! thanx for you speedy reply, i will get there in the end

    I have only been modelling for about 2 hours full stop! So please excuse me if its a simple task im asking, I am building a FIBUA village, and currently am using models supplied with OFP but its not realistix enough so i decided to make my own based on the real buildings i am basing the village on. I managed to build the first basic building and roof but i am having probs putting windows in (or rather cutting windows out) I am used to modeling in half life (with worldcraft)where to make a window in something you build say, a cube and then build a smaller cube and cut the cube out leaving a hole where the cube was. Its hard explaining what i mean in a hurry but i hope someone out there understands and can help thanks
