I hate to go of topic but saying that air is overpowered in MP reminds me of CoD duscussions about Huey/Chopper Gunner. If you stand there like a tree doing nothing, without ghost, you get raped by it (only in small maps). Same goes for arma. If you drive around slow in the middle of nowhere, without any cover, in an APC or a tank, then of course you get raped by anything that flies around. However, it is very easy to shoot down air in arma. All that Stingers and AA pods. Lets not mention tunguskas and such. Is it realistic? No. Is it overpowered? No.

What the hell was that parasite in him? I rather put a bullet trough my head then have one of those.

If planes would be like in that DCS video I would never fly in arma2 again. Lol how long it took to fire that agm. ArmA is still a game and not a full blown simulator.

Still, I see a lot of HQ mods. Especially in infantry and weapons department.

This. And how can you have such conflict as a 10 or 15EUR DLC? If this is ever done, it should be a huge expansion pack. Even bigger then Arrowhead maybe.

"missions.pbo" is located in "YourArmA2InstallationFolder\Addons". About changing units... I guess you just replace everything that has anything to do with Guerilla with PMC. Maybe there a line in commonInit (or smt. like that) that makes the module use PMC units.

So, Crysis 2 has no lean or prone. Great, I hated that in previous game. I hope weapons have no recoil and everything is toggled. If you would get knocked out on every load during the campaign would be awesome as well. I really have high expectations for this game, cant wait for it.

I have to say, I get better average FPS in OA benchmark on Windows 7 x64 then on XP x64. I dont think I tried on x32 systems. Vista x64 performed poorly though. Its quite some time ago but numbers were something like: Windows 7 -> 55-60 XP -> 45-50 Vista -> 40-45

Yes, no one lives forever. How could I forget? I played the first (NOLF 1) game over and over. NOLF 2 was not so good, have to say. NOLF is probably one of the most popular games of all times where I come from. In 2000/01 this, OPF, HL1, THPS2 and FIFA 2001 were probably most played games for us.

Well normal is for ArmA 2, OA is for Operation Arrowhead and CO is for Combined Operations. Parameters Setter lets you to change default parameters and import default parameters from older versions. Your mission is probably dependent on the mod. Delete it from auto-addons in mission.sqm.

There is new DLC, called First Strike. It just came out for xbox. Its coming to PC later on, like in MW2. Here are some official trailers for it, if anyone is interested: Personally, I dont think Ill be buying these maps.

Im not sure about this. I use "up" and "down" keys to change stance. If I hit "down" it goes to crouch and if I hit it again it stands up. I dunno how another crouch position would be there. Now adding another key for it... well it cant hurt but I cant say I would use it.

I downloaded Update #2 and I see here rwr_m9sd.pbo and rws_m9sd.pbo. What is the difference? No other weapon has rwr version, they are all rws.

Please spare me this try ACE tips. Why dont you list all that other things that ACE gives you that I may do not want to use.

Although it runs quite good on my side I kind of agree with you. However, Im not sure its entirely CoDs fault that all other games are CoD try hards. Sure it sells most but other game companies could still develop something new, inovative instead of coming out like some cheap, fake ass CoD.

I agree especially with the last point. Fire mode should be separate of grenades, smokes, etc. The key to switch fire mode should stay as it is, so its the same for vehicles but there should be a new key to select fire mode for your rifle.
