Any of you guys created a ticket at Dev-Heaven? If you can reproduce or provide some sort of test to demonstrate this is an issue that needs/can be addressed then it will be 'assigined' to a tester, and if the tester can verify that it is a valid issue it will be passed onto a programer and fixed/tweaked... well that's how it's meant to work :)

You are probably right... but A2 seems to be doing quite well, its in the top 5 games of 2009 (if not in the top 3) so based on that it may inspire BI (and the extra cash flow) to continue with the ArmA series. I hope BI do, I think gamers are getting sick of generic shooters... its been over a decade and its the same crap shooters with better graphics and more and more corporate spin to flog their crap. ANYway give it a few years and see how BI feel about #3, in the mean time CC looks very interesting and its something fresh for BI to work on... Either way Kudos to BI for sticking with and supporting a bunch of whining old men... we'll always be here for you BI :)

I think I can answer that... its because if A2 gets ported to a console and its a bad job which lets be honest it most likely will be or a least very watered down then that only reflects badly on BI which in turn makes ppl turn away that may have otherwise picked it up off the shelf (PC version I mean). We would like to have more ppl playing A2... BI/A2 have had plenty of negative press from 14yr old game reviewers as is so any more negatives is not desirable... You can't deny that the chances of A2 porting to a console successfully is pretty low and A2 PC'ers don't want more press that doesn't help numbers on their servers. Now I'm not saying this is why but I do feel this way myself a tad but I'm sure there a plenty that feel this alot stronger than I do :) But as cm said about OA... there is a decent chance you guys might get it on console because of optimization and the less draining enviroment and all the other stuff that is OA:) ANYway I do hope it gets ported successfully, cause everyone should be playing this game... good luck :) PS... With mobile phones (lol> cellular) I want a phone that is just a phone... and maybe a camera and those kinda things.... but I do not want a browser to view the web or write and send emails on a 1" crappy screen, I don't need a foldout KB so I can use a limited slow word processor or an mp3 player... and on and on. Do you know how hard it is to find a good quality phone without paying for all the BS... so I do understand what you mean. If I want an mp3 player I'll go buy a nice Zen or something, if I want to send an email I'm pretty sure I'd only have to walk a short distance to find a connected PC. Thats why I love my Nintendo.... its a dedicated gaming console, not a console that plays DVD/CD or Bluray player, with web browsers and all the sh1t... it has a sole purpose and it does it well. If I want a DVD/Bluray player I'll go buy a good quality one, if I want to web brows I'll jump on my PC. ANYway... all said I hope you get your wish... maybe you might get OA in some form :)

If i could roll my eyes any harder they'd fall out... IT AINT GOING TO HAPPEN.... even if you can fit some controls on a controller it still doesn't matter because there is NO console out there that can run A2... haven't you tards seen the problems ppl have with even the most uber machines out there... what makes you think an xbox (LOL) of all things can even run A2 at 2-3 FPS. And if they did it would be so watered down it would only be a negative for BI.... you want to play A2... BUY a gaming machine because there is not going to be any other way.... EVER! You have a good point, another reason console only players can f'off from A2... if they are serious like you and me then they would make the EFFORT to save up and buy a real gaming machine... its roughly a 3 year cycle to save for my next rig (among all the other things in life).

Well most of you have been around long enough to know of 'Dev-Heaven'..... ffs use it, it has a purpose and that is for YOU to report issues or features that will improve the game for all.

I hear ya but in the heaviest of rain or the biggest of thunderstorms (which need to be more visual) I can still hear my radio, vehicles, weapons fire etc etc pretty clearly and I shouldn't hardly be able to hear anything. As for thunderstorms they are pathetic, the odd flash and streak of lightning with a very quite 'crack' of thunder. It has nothing to do with volume.
