Thats vary good to here that the HWM team will be doing good in ArmA 2. As you say that it should not be an problem but the scripting, could we see an beta in the ArmA 2 with its vanilla scripting just to put in ArmA 2? Good luck on you tour hop ya can stay in tuch with your team.

Alll ok got ya. I understand ya but in OFP this was used and looked vary good, this video showing the fast rope looks good also so why not just put this one in? Whats so bad about it? From what iv seen about the engine there that you have posted your talking about doing it as in self not as static. This looks good if ya looked at the old OFP there fast rope looked good too, OFrP had an nice one too i guess they were static also but were diffrent in ways.

Newer version sound nice cant wait till the US release, when it is could you think of makeing the script into the BIS choppers then? Just would love to have this in the choppers of BIS and as you said maybe the addon makers of the choppers could put this script in.

Any way of makeing this where its an addon? By putting the scripts in the choppers in ArmA 2 so that the player does not have to put the script in all the time. Like haveing it put in the choppers via and the player just dl and the script is already in the chopper and you just got the option to do so.

Ya that looks nice dont know what that pop up window is saying but it shows that it can be done script and animation wise. Now if we could get some moders to put it in the works of ArmA 2 choppers this would be an good option to have.

Ya dont think its going to be in the game when it comes out but would love to see some one take on the task of makeing it possible for ArmA 2.

Dont know but its not the rope system that is at fault here thats the POINT! Haveing the option to do so is much more better then not haveing it at all:icon_hm: There is no blame on any mission makers in this option of the fast rope system, for the limits they are pushed for all ends to make game play that much better:bigsmile: More option give an more realistic feel to the game even the little things like takeing of your helmet. In OFP this fast rope system was almost on all choppers that were made by addon makers that tells you something there.

Yes Todd Blackburn was an private of the US Rangers but it was on the pilots end that he fell not the fast rope system, Hell_Toupee is baseing it on the rope system that is bad. Read the post first.

I hate to burst your bubble but fast roping is called "fast" because it's quicker than using a full rappel harness. It's catastrophically slow compared to landing and stepping onto the ground. You basically only do it if there's no room to land. Then you got this twisted that option to fast rope is an quick way on opetarions that are its needs, as you said they do it if there is no where to land or if its an better option. So it is needed in the military ok. Then so ya it would be slow if you were in an open field to do an fast rope drop but why would you do that? Thats why it is used when it is. Your getting this all twisted up and all. Do you understand that it is used right? Now yes i understand that its not used all the time ok but its used well enoff for its operations. No busted bubble here i know that fast rope is quicker then an rappel thats why they use the fast rope system lol your killing me here wow.

It is not an slow method thats why its called "FAST ROPE" yes they dont use it all the time as i said befor but it is used when it is called for and more then ya think. All insertions are dangerous in diffrent ways, that is why its used in its field of operations that is needed.
