Since playing all flashpoint campaigns and downloading countless missions on ofp I wanted to learn how to do the mission editing, but could never really get my head around it. Now I got AA i really want to make my own missions, yet i don't know how to edit config files script files or know how to use the mission editor. Are there any tutorials or programs to help you do it? also anyone that does do mission editing, how do you find it starting out. Was it hard, did it take a while to get used to or did it click after 20 minutes? Edit: I just realised i posted this in the wrong section so can someone put this in the right place. Sorry for this

not just for the low performance pc people, but just for the fact that it can really be annoying when crawling and you want to shoot an enemy but cant see him because of the bloody grass in your way

I do have nvidia so that may be the problem. I have tried to update to 1.02 but keep getting the "wrong cd error" that some of the others are talking about

I know there have been a few bug reports and crash issues posted up. However I'm not sure if i have found the problem i always seem to get. I have the czech 1.01 version and the game always crashes to desktop at some point between 10 mins and half hour. The first signs of a crash coming up is the cursors start to go all fuzzy and then some of the scenery looks all messed up, then it will crash to desktop with the usual windows "error, report error or cancel" The problem is that when it crashes to desktop, the whole desktop screen is locked in 8bit color and the only way to get it back to normal is by doing a reboot. Is this a common problem and is there a way to sort it?

i get the same problem and don't get me started on when you try to turn in auto hover mode, talk about kamikaze pilot. sometimes if you turn in hovermode it will uncontrollably aim at the sky or take a nose dive into the ground

these patches are to fix bugs and even the patches has bugs, this is so crazy

this my be commen knowledge for the veterans on here, but i noticed my frame rate shoot right up after disabling shadows. this may have been posted before but sometimes the most simplist solutions are the most obvious

the bugs/problems i found 1. The terrain was very glitchy when moving, it kept flickering as if the graphics where loading up the screen. This could be my grapics card but for the moment i will put it down as a bug 2. the frame rate is quite slow and it lags a bit even on low settings. again this could be my graphics card, but i have heard a lot of people with super fast computers say the same thing. 3. it randomly crashes into desktop when action kicks off or when you are moving where there is a lot of objects and buildings in view, and my desktop temporarily shows in low color mode. 4. it just locked up on me completely and had to restart

hmm editing stuff isn't one of my strong points. i can install mods and put addons in their folders etc... but that is as far as i can go. Unless anyone can do a step by step guide on how to do it.

no its not a song as such, it sounds like something from an action movie, its an orchestral theme with what sounds like oprah singers in the background, i really like it. But again i'm sure the person who knows it is the person who designed the menu. i do have a rough sound sample how do i get it online
