New VTK/patch update PEQ Lasers

I own both products(VBS2 and ArmA) and I use VBS2 on a "professional" Basis aswell as using it for fun at weekends etc,I have ArmA installed and I agree with everyone that for a normal "joe Blogs",they will probably find alot more intrest in ArmA,VBS2 is aimed at a different market completly,if civis who have the cash want to buy it then so be it,they will enjoy it, As for the VTK,its looking farkin good,gives it another edge to an already well build sim...

Your very correct mate but i have over a dozen team mates with VBS2 so that helps a great deal,not including all the other VBS2 owners,id say around 20-30 of them so we can join forces to run the very big missions made,and its great fun at that

I own both Armed Assault and VBS2,ever since first firing up VBS2 and giving it a quick run through,ArmA was removed completly from my machine,this training tool just blew me inside out,Yes its a very steep price tag for those outside the "intended" use for VBS2 which has been mentioned,its for the Armed Forces,hence the hefty price tag, As for those asking about why stuff from VBS2 was not included in ArmA,first of all for those that dont quite grasp the fact that we are talking about 2 completly different companys,aswell as there were some seriously major tweaks made to the ArmA engine from the VBS2 developers so addon makers/scripters etc will certaintly struggle as they will not be able to "tweak" the game engine in this manner, Lastly for all this "bashing" of VBS2,im affraid you cannot really comment on that matter as you dont have the "hard facts" sitting on your machine because i could assure you,if you had so,ArmA wouldnt even be on your PC either. @USSRSniper, Â You obviously have NO clue what so ever to the capabilitys of the VBS2 training program. Basically it falls down to jelousy,plain and simple.

That my friend is alot of bollocks,the BIA/VBS1-2 team have great customer support and are by far the most helpful....hands down.

@Pete My game is running perfectly well ever since i restarted the modem,no freezing atall, @Mr Fenix Try to join the Evolotion servers when they are creating as when you are joining the server you are downloading the mission and also everybodys dead bodys/enemy dead/dead vehicles and will normally take a good 10 mins if not longer to load,pain in the ass i know.

Restart your Modem,i had the exact same problem,works a treat now.

the problem i was recieving was certintly not a firewall/router problem,1 of my team mates simply said to turn my modem off for a few mins then turn it back on again,and it worked. @petethehatch You may aswell try turning it off for a few miniutes then back on again,wont hurt to try,and if you were experincing the same problem as i was then this "should" fix it. |RE|Monk

yes monk you havethe same trouble as me.let me know if you get sorted I managed to get it working,all i needed to do was turn my modem off for a few miniutes and all works fine now,to all those who tried to help its very much appriciated,thanks. Cya on the virtual battlefield.

Hi Walker, Thanks very much for the fast response,im using the UK 505 games patched up to 1.05 i think it was,when trying to join Evolution mission on the SES server and a few others,i was able to play on a server last night but today i just keep freezing up,ive disabled firewall etc,and tried cleaning out the MPmissions Cache but still with no joy

Having the Exact same problem when joining MP,it will either freeze on the "wait for host" screen or it will manage to connect to a server then freeze when "recieving" data,all drivers etc etc are new and work in every other mode of the game,Editor/Campaign/Missions.Any clues as to fix the problem would be most appriciated..
