    that's something I'd like to do, too. Yes, I do this all the time. At first you have to clean up your ECP modfolder which here means you cut out the whole "Bin" folder. Now create a new modfolder named "ecp-standard-config" or whatever you like and put the original "Bin" folder in there. You can now copy that folder as often as you want and put your different configs in them. Remember to put the needed addons into that new modfolder too and to always start them together with the "ecp" folder where everything else is in. This way you won't need to copy the whole ecp mod into every folder and save some space. And a big Thank you to everyone involved in this mod. I like it very much although I didn't had much time to play so far

    ECP 1.085 Released!

    Hi, can anyone help me out here? I've got a server for a month now and want to install ECP on it, but the Linux server files are only available on ofpec. As we all now they are unfortunately down at the moment and I can't find them on my harddisk. Oddly as I never delete anything how I managed to loose it So, if anyone could upload them for me it would be highly appreciated, I don't remember them being very big. Thanks in advance
  4. I like to see the patch generator used and think it's the best way. It's actually very simple to install and you don't have to patch 4 data.pbos. Easiest way is to use a mod folder. If you have a custom sky folder, use that one, if you haven't make a new modfolder and copy your dta folder from the \res directory into it. Now you only need to know if you play with Hardware T&L activated or not. You can see that in your Flashpoint Preferences, should be activated with everything from a GeForce1 and above. Now start the patch, redirect it to your modfolder and choose one data.pbo, without HWTL the one directly in the \dta folder, with HWTL choose the one inside the \dta\hwtl folder. The patcher will automatically save a backup for you, named data.pbo.bak, you just have to rename it if you want to switch back. Now just start up Flashpoint with that modfolder and voila (It should work without the modfolder, too. Just patch the used data.pbo in your \res directory) I think the patch generator is one of the best tools, thanks to Voyager and Nashe Orujie

    MODUL SKY beta version

    Hi Voron Your sky looks nice but I think you should change the fog colour. Is it right that it depends on some part of the sky textures? Because now theres a huge difference, especially with the thunderclouds, and so you can clearly see the line where the sky starts. You can see it on your second screenshot, the grey hill in the fog on the right side of the screen stands out and I think looks pretty odd. With the normal sky it looks better but that could be a bit more bluish I think. And if you could reduce the compression lines on the normal sky it would be great, so you can't follow them around and actually see the sphere. But as it seems from the other answers that may not work Apart from that it looks great, I especially like the cloudy blue sky (the one you see with editor standard settings). Keep up the good work

    Do You want PunkBuster in Armed Assault?

    I can understand both sides here, but I have also voted "no". The simple reason is that with my current OFP install I think I wouldn't be able to play on any server. From modified islands over custom animations and selfmade replacement configs to altered addons (sounds, config settings, etc.), I don't think PB would ever let me play like that. And I don't think that's only my OFP, at least some anims and a skypack are somehow standard (one of the hundreds of variants) and since release I and nearly everyone I know haven't ever played without DXDLL. I want to see the admin who fiddles with the settings so that only half of the common addons are going to work. Poor guy I think only the tweaked configs for some planes (from mouse to joystick sensitivity) would get me kicked before I see the welcome message. And if it is allowed to modify a file it's easy to abuse that right, so why the check anyway? Actually I think not many Admins would disable it on a public server, so your somehow forced to activate it to find a decent server without limiting your choice. Another thing would be the performance. Think about you actually managed to find a server with that full conversion mod you liked and it runs that CTI. Just thinking about my performance if PB tries to check all those addons and scripts... (Actually, even thinking about it without PB makes me shiver ) And yes, I have seen cheaters, but as I play mainly coop surviving a few hits from a 30mm or playing further as a corpse are, especially with KEGs spectator script, pretty obvious. And an id ban is a good choice and already there without PB. It's already hard to find a server running with the addons you like and there are enough problems with missing/incorrect/modified addons already. If its modified you get and you get a message the others can see it and decide if they want to believe you it's not a cheat. On the other hand I see the problems with league play and competitive maps like hexenkessel, but as I normally don't play these the negative effects overweigh for me. As a conclusion I would say that no protection hasn't yet bin broken and PB or any other for ArmA will be the first to achieve that. So I would prefer an advanced system from the one already in use, there's no way to 100% protect a game and there are enough people who can ruin it without a cheat.     Replacing models

    I voted for "Depends on", as I on the one hand use several modified configs where I only changed the models and sounds. But on the other hand I can understand when people think it's not ok, for the reasons BraTTy already stated. As I normally only play coop theres no problem with modifying the modified configs, but I think it shouldn't be allowed in a league game.

    Hi, at first I would like to thank Itweas for this addon I really like it and already had so much fun with it I also made a small MP mission with it, just a fast ripoff from a BIS DM. I already tried it with 2 other players, works fine, only some animations are not shown. It`s on CATs Afghanistan revisited by Agent Smith, that citys are just made for ninjas

Just one little question, how can I remove the NVGs completely with HiddenSelections? When I add <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"nv","nv_rings","nv_mount","nv_1","nv_box","nv_knob","nv_glass2","nv_glass","nv_eyepiece", a small horizontal tube remains.     M4A1 Pack

    Hi Wipman After I finally got around to test your addon with Blackbloods infantry I want to say they look great and good work to everyone involved. I found a small bug with the Masterkey, don't know if it was already mentioned. When you select the Masterkey you can lock on to objects with the second mouse button as in tanks. Just a minor issue, but if you patch the pack you could also solve this pretty quick i think. Scruffy

    Nice work, I like the pilot very much and was searching for something like this. One little bug I found: Some seem to always have the exact same face, not even my custom face was recognized. I think it were Rifleman, Sniper and Pilot.

    Really outstanding! There's nothing more to say, sound, effects and atmosphere are great and the AI improvement rocks. For the first time my tanks survived the Battlefields mission and they did it all by themselves

    Armed Assault - should the name be changed?

    Mh, sorry to hear that, I liked OFP: Combined Arms or would like to have Operation or Flashpoint in the new title. I can`t believe CM can own the rights to any title with a "Flashpoint" or "Operation" in the name, as quicKsanD showed with "Flashpoint Germany". Maybe BIS had to sign something when they quit working with CM, that would be the only reason I could think of. Anyways, if it stays Armed Assault, let`s just call it ArA and all fans could recognize each other by cheesy bumper stickers like the christians do

    Post your DxDll config!

    You can either change your brightness and gamma settings in OFP to 1.0, then it will all look the same (dark that is ), or you capture your screens with a programm like Fraps. That way the screens look exactly as brigth as ingame.

  23. Did you view the object from a distance or close up? I think I remember reading something about objects reflecting based on futher ones first then close ones. I turned down the detail levels for the reflected objects and have found that it actually looks better (more like reflections) and causes less lag. Yes, I watched it from every angle and distances from 1 to 50m, only the soldier himself is reflecting. I mostly test on desert island, so there aren't other objects further away and I increased the object count thats reflected in the preferences. After an "Alt+Tab" out and in the reflections show up without problems until the mission is ended. But thanks anyways for the answer, guess I'll redo the model and do some research about this, but.... *cough* lazy *cough*

    Hi Hardrock, I have got a similar system and would like to try this, but what did you change here? If you lowered AGP Aperture Size it would be 64MB or something like that. Or did you lower your AGP rate from 8x to 4x? Would be nice if you could correct this
