well there's nothing more realistic than the US invading another country But you forget that Switzerland doesn't have any oil and it's not some third world regime that nobody cares about. ;) Don't think the US are so desperate for cheese and chocolate...

A conflict with Austria is even more realistic than the US AND it is a WESTERN country!

Austria Is the perfect enemy I say! Germany and France are too friendly! But those Austrians! Never trust them! The swiss campaign should have a lot of mountain warfare, but the swiss never fight, unless they're attacked on their own soil. This means that some neighbouring country has to invade. The Austrians! They have a new right wing leader (like Haider, but even more radical!) and this guy tries to invade Liechtenstein, which is something like a lost part of Austria in his eyes. But the Swiss stand in their way, because they don't tolerate a conflict at their borders. The Austrian troops declare war on Switzerland and the swiss militia gathers in the alps to fight them back! How about this story then? And the Germans, historic allies of the Austrians, help them and get whooped and have to cede Baden-Wurttemberg to Switzerland   Don't think so. Noone of Austria's allies would try to invade Switzerland because it's an illegal act of aggression by a madman. They would even try to stop them on the diplomatical level, or help the Swiss with troops. But the Swiss decide to fight alone to keep their neutrality.

Hitler thought it would be easy to break through to Moscow with the mobile Wehrmacht and Blitzkrieg tactics. But he didn't think of the vast Russian space he had to cross with his support lines. That was the main problem. No proper support with winter gear to the frontline troops when the winter began! Germany was pretty close and was already shelling the outskirts of Moscow, but they couldn't stay there any longer to advance further because they didn't have the necessary gear! Russia's advantages were the winter and the size of the country with the sibirean resources.

Take the Austrians! Would be a ablanced fight and you Swiss hate them anyway! Let's say they try to invade Liechtenstein and you stand in their way!

The Tarantul ship I visited had something like Iglas mounted on a launcher plattform for Air defense. We already have the Igla AA Missile in OFP, so you wouldn't have to make a new one. ;)

Do the USA have the NH90? I thought it was only bought by european countries and the USA will by the EH101.

I knew about the Pauk, but as you already said, it doesn't have any missiles. And it's a pretty old addon. Imagine the possibilieties of today's ship addons, as demonstrated by Col. Klink, on a missile corvette!

I've been on a East-German Tarantul Class missile corvette and my first thought sitting behind the 105mm gun on the deck was: "We need this baby in OFP!" Keep this project up ramboofp!

Oh no! Not that English breakfast again! I would have killed for a reasonable continental brakfast when I was in England! I can't stand those baked beans and little sausages which tasted like a mix of pure fat and flour! Hehe Not every German word has an umlaut. It's just Bratwurst and Apfelstrudel. Weihnachtsmarkt in Germany has become quite an expensive thing... Especially the hot drinks like Glühwein cost way too much! It was much cheaper some Years go... I remember a Night in Leipzig, where our whole history class was too drunk to get on the bus home. But those nights are over with the high prizes. It became nothing exceptional over here to go to the Weihnachtsmarkt, but I hope the English people will enjoy it even more!
