What about a military faction made of the remenants of NATO forces, that way you could get a good mix of camos and weapons.

Please stop requesting updates. I'm sure if they had something to post they'd post it. I very much doubt they're sitting at home with a bunch of screenshots/a completed mod just keeping it to themselves, waiting for somebody to ask for it. They will post when they're ready.

@Soldier2390 I think I know where our disagreement lies. From the sound of what you're saying the American military actually operate airccraft from the smaller Bases near the green zone, while I on the other hand have only knowledge of British bases and we only operate aircraft from KAF and Bastion. So what might be best is a British style FOB with vehicle parking and one or two landing zones for supplies and troops to be dropped off, but with plenty of flat, unnocupied area around the FOB with the potential to add a large aircraft operating area and other extra zones to the base at your own will.

Yes I agree it would be great to have a tonne of FOBs and airbases but you can't have that many on a 10k map, especially as you have requested large, realistic FOBs, you'd only have about 2 metres between each FOB. What I'm trying to say is that yes, an Afghan map with a load of realistic big bases offering an amazing variety of types and roles. However, on THIS map it is just not sensible to have an airbase and 4 smaller outposts as no matter where you had an engagement you'd always be insight of an ISAF base. What I think is best is a larger, main FOB on the outskirts, with one or two smaller PBs deep within the greenzone.
