@bravo 6 see your interested in important gameplay aspects of arma then :P bals AI engagement ranges can you hide behind walls and stuff to protect your self from explosives can you clear buildings by throwing nades of the outside wall does the engine still function funny in with low fps EG. can you wack the graphics up full to give yourself low fps so you can walk thru walls and fences when in close quarters and you come face to face with an enemy will he react and open up and shoot you or will he still be a dumbfuck and run round in circles think "oh no MUST flank" will AI use suppressive fire , can the AI be supressed does concealment work or is it still the case where the best way to aproach an enemy is in the open where you can keep an eye on them to know when they are alerted because in ofp if you tried to use concealment and you cant see them they will just shoot you thru the bushes

@ jdb i dont pretend to be an addon maker... soo why pretend to be a moderator ?? you can get your post count higher just the same by answering people rather acting all high and mighty ... wheres the difference in me putting you down, to you getting all sarcastic and putting someone down for asking a question which is simple to answer to make your self look good ?? yes searching -nomap would have given a LOT of results mostly threads with people asking about a problem and other people saying have you tried -nomap wether its got anything relative to the problem at all , like its some sort of magical command that fixes everything

does that say modmaker or moderator under your avatar ?? go and make some I44 addons or something and they might get something other than wallpapers to download on their site before the release of "next gen game" cos you've missed the ofp boat -nomap as far as i understand stops the game from loading all of the installed addons into memory when the game loads and only loads them when they're needed

what he said its not compatible with dxdll IIRC run game cam then run the game in you normal way from ofp shortcut with the mods of your choice dont setup a profile for ofp within gamecam edit: actually DO setup a profile for ofp cos you need to alter the hotkeys layout cos it conflicts with ofp's default key setup but launch from your normal ofp shortcut/s

ecp is not very fair in PvP MP games.. you can blatently use to cheat by randomly throwning grenades around cos all the enemies will shout about it and give away their posistion if you want the clear nightvision i made a skypack thingy a while ago which you will be able to find on ofp.info that has this feature..but i dont reccomend using it in a PvP MP enviroment as that is also a "cheat" if other people dont have it -

?? sent you another email i did the textures for you...altho i was apparently full of shit about the alpha gradient being kept at the bottom of your grass texture cos when i looked at in buldozer it doesn't show...but your problem in your pic above is fixed i also sent you another grass model to show how you can make your grass less laggy

try using PAAtool 1.1 and turn off alpha filtering when you convert your textures it will solve the problem shown in your pic it will still keep the gradient at the bottom of your grass texture,

get resistance for two reasons 1. you aint gonna be playing any multiplayer games on "ye olde 1.46 flashpoint" 2. you need to use the -nomap command to start cos sometimes the game doesn't like to run at all if you have a lot of ram like 2gb

what are you on about ? most of those scripts are for missions the dialog drop thing is a mission that allows you to design fire and smoke (and other) effects and gives you the code to put in a script to use in your missions or addon and is exactly the thing you want to be looking at for adding burning fire and smoke trails to the plane in your mission -

well you could just retexture the sky and clouds..if the sky was all white the fog would be white because the fog colour is taken from the bottom of the sky texture -
hmm the fix itself doesn't actually do much it just disables turbo mode in the registry you can do it manually search google for soundblaster live turbo mode fix and try and find out the registry entry to change or check if it even there

model everything in max (all lods) make sure each lod is 1 mesh (if your model has different parts merge them into 1 mesh you'll still be able to select each part)name each lod so you know what it is... texture it all in max then once you've finnished select the lot and export selected as .3ds then import the .3ds file into O2 it will ask you about converting textures but i usually ignore this and do it manually.. you will also get a box with the list of mesh names which you can then set them to the different lod types you want convert your textures and stick em in the right folder for your model then go thru your texture list in O2 and fix the incorrect texture paths in all lods then you should get everything in buldozer looking correct..then you can go onto doing named selections or whatever else you need to do in O2 giz a shout if you need help
