Since time began iv had problems with sound on ofp 1st i had a lame onboard soundcard which caused my sound to go slow and blue screen after loud explosions/shilkas Then i got a sound card cmedia which was same as onboard and i had same problem but turned down low combated it! Then i got a usb headset which is more or less like its own sound card as i has own drivers and is a total different device was working fine till pc crashed and psu blown up so i replaced then i had problems with mic and iformated and changed psu from the temp one and it was fine! Now it keeps crashing and i turned down in DXDIAG and the sound quality on no acceleration is so terrible it crackly and i cant watch videos or anythin but any higher my game crash's!! Would appreciate any input also think there is a problem with AC97/CMEDIA with ofp as i have read on avonlady im not only person with problem the guy who fixed it had 98 i think and his was different! After shilka fire the sound crackles and goes into slow motion and then blue screens!! Please help if possible as i love ofp and got no more Å to get new pc thx

Converting OFP directory: ofp-server-1.96.shar: line 152004: gcc: command not found ofp-server-1.96.shar: line 152005: ./tolower: No such file or directory i get that error while converting iv learnt in a few hours linux and iv setup the server as well as i can i think i need somebody to look over it or somthing? could somebody possibly help me and il give then root details so they can have a look as im totaly baffled geezup@hotmail.co.uk add me

Hi, i was told ofp servers take alot of cpu power compared to counter strike which uses ram-ram-ram , will Armed Assult be more demanding on cpu or ram ? i want to build a server any help would be appreciated . also will it be like the curent ofp server software? thx

i love this , but a bit laggy same with cti44 the different addons with different polys makes lagg really bad or is it just me?
