AHA, fixed, go to your controlls, select flight controlls and click increase thrust and then push ur throttle on ur joystick and it'll track it, it wasnt defined by default! ahh im so pleased. make sure u only define 1 way of the throttle for each increase and decrease thrust or they'll counteract each other and u'll notice nothing different...

I can, the X and Y axis including all the buttons on the joystick work fine, but the throttle...nope............

Only got up to the break out bit... so far.. very nice!

I have a microsoft sidewinder, quite an old joystick, it has a throttle on it... i was able to use the throttle in ofp, but in arma it doesnt do anything.. is this the two joystick problem? in theory its one joystick tho.

u are right... people wont stick around waiting much longer... ive been waiting absolute yonks for this linux software and it hasnt come, i don't think it will come for quite along time too, possibly well into 07 before they will release it. They never even bothered releasing dedicated linux software for ofp for like 3 years wasnt it? and CWC was never lucky enough to have linux support either, BIS hate providing for linux.. its so obvious.. windows always comes first, when the majority of people prefer their clan servers on linux its really stupid BIS.. but you probaly wouldnt even read this so w/e.

Hi, i wonder if anyone can help with these two problems, 1. when ever i launch arma i get this error before the game starts. No entry 'C:\Documents and Settings\Phil\My Documents\ArmA\ArmA.cfg.3D_Performance'. 2. Arma randomly restarts my computer while ingame. I use latest nvidia drivers and i use an AGP nvidia 7600 256mb. I have XP MCE. Please..any idea? this is killin me!

ok, i seem to have fixed this. Resolution_W=1024; Resolution_H=768; Resolution_Bpp=32; refresh=60; FSAA=0; HDRPrecision=8; lastDeviceId="4318,737,58327040"; localVRAM=252702720; nonlocalVRAM=130023423; winX=5; winY=11; winW=966; winH=726; winDefW=966; winDefH=726; that was my arma.cfg before , but it was missing 3 values. language="English"; adapter=-1; 3D_Performance=7979.000000; just add that ontop of the rest of it and save the file and arma should work fine.. The error seems to only come up when a line is misisng from config, bis please fix this bug as i didnt remove these manually, so it must be the game.

clan r looking for a mfcti against another clan , would only be a small game 4v4 or maybe more no big clans like RN, we arnt ready for a big ass whoopin yet lol

Has this been accomplished? Are you using self made linux server scripts or an emulator? when will official linux dedicated software be released? will placebo or sumo be so kind to tell me?

I'm in total agreement, its very irritating! also, when you fly the seagul into a building it gets stuck.. and wont move!

In a next update can you fix the camera so its able to rise higher like in ofp, or bring it closer to the vehicle, it seems very odd that far back at that angle, the camera in ofp is much better it goes where you want it when driving easily! Also this isnt the only camera bug, everyones aware of looking up and seeing through the arms, in ofp that never happened! please fix the camera bis!

BIS underestimated the minimum specs and reccomended and anybody who says this is not true is a liar! the minimum was 2ghz pc 512mb ram nvidiafx series all of which i used to have, but i changed to a; 4000+amd 64 1gb 2x512mb dual memory 6600 card and it still runs so slow.... i wish i knew what specs the testers had ??!?! dual processor? 10gb ram ? 1gb gfx card? Â Â bis should of done the market research and this shows they didnt, Â i love ofp so much and i was hoping for an upgrade but this is like a complete new game and this makes me feel this was mis sold as a sequal to ofp maybe i havent give arma a good enough chance but i still feel robbed , specialy when i upgaded my pc to run it and 1000's of other gamers too! stole my dads dvd drive just to run it and i know people with pc's twice as good as mine with 25fps max! i can tell you now , this wont ever be a goty unlike ofp. i was really wishing for another great release from bis, maybe with updates things might work better and all that but we will see also .. does anybody notice the harrier flys like a house brick? and doesnt have VTOL which is what distinguishes a harrier , they might aswell thrown an a10 in

if i started this topic at start of ofp. was it worth buying i can say 99.9% hell even a 100% would say yes but arma gameplay is totaly different, this is dont mind but i feel that bis sold it as SEQUAL TO OFP not a new game. i spent Å300 upgrading my pc for arma which i feel was wasted placebo i hope you give my feedback to bis as i think its vital they know how players feel. thank you
