@folgore, i did have some tyranids i made a while back knocking about on my hd which i made them (via new anims) have no static arms, perhaps i could find my models for you and the anim? or guide ou on how to make the arms not be static?

Inv44 doesnt lag as bad as some think, the lod systems horrible though
(well the last 2 lods are)but yes, AI is completly functioning with it, and it is possible to "hide" in the grass, which is quite fun in MP when your playimg DM

But the basic build up of Inv44's grass is 50x50 square (some are circles, smaller squares for certain parts) and it is in a honeycombe shape, the only problem it has is texture pop up due to OFP poor rendering and you have to walk towards the middle of one square of grass to get the textures to show up there best (and then they stay that way, thank god)

note on the anim, it looks good, other than yes youve got a few speed problems and some jumping right leg syndrome :P(well not literally jumping, ut it sorta slids in to fast)
the right leg slides down to fast once the left leg has gone back, and also the toes/feet dont actually react at all

but then again its only a placeholder but still good go at it!

why not increase the poly count to something like 1500? thats reasonable
, 6500 is the norm for tanks now anyway

Nice looking guys, BUT, everything looks way to low polyed on the marine! i mean they look less than 1200 (I think thats what thye are if I remember correctly?)

I see LOTS of useles things on there, why make it so detailed and give yourself even more hours of work rather than just making it lower poly straight off?

As far as i can see, the textures he used are all "incompatible" with each other, i.e. thye dont match up anyway, and the create transistions button only works on compatible textures (whereas with Visitor i think it creates its own?)

there only trying to help you create a mod that is playable aswell as looking nice, if you cant accept CC then why do you mod at all?
CC is always going to happen with any mod/single modder, so dont think its just you, i mean cmon, put down a squad of those units as they are with out being optimised and see the amount you lag

I vote for Invasion 1944.....for best mod which can fob you off with the amount of excuses weve pulled out of the hat when you keep asking what the bloody release date is!

maybe a new award called "Longest mod in development"
or "Done when its done" award?

.rtm animations can only be used on soldiers/cargo posistions, there is no way (I know of, if you do, then hell tell me!
)
that .rtm's cna work on a building as such.
Unless you usedspecial selections in OFPAnim which is what I use to do my animated hands (WIP)
