Hi, well Jerk... the flyight model should be updated in future patches, let's hope that it be for good; but keep in mind that make a plane do a circle in the air... takes kilometers, even for a harrier. Only certain planes and others capable of do certain maniouvers, can do circles in less than 1Km. The only bad point of the planes, is the FOV (Field Of View), that they need alot for be effective; the flyight model improvement that i'll ask for, is to remove the mixed planes & choppers controls, so i could accelerate with the up arrow key & slow down with the down arrow key; instead use the Home & End keys for do this (like in the helicopters) i haven't a joystick and i'm not a spider. Hi, i'll like that BIS adds a screenshots taker tool or feature to the game, that save the screenshots in the game's folder in .tga or some other graphic formate. Let's C ya

Hi, well Gnat, after check many MV-22B Osprey photos... i can ensure you that i can't make his textures up to the ArmA standards. I could make 'em better, with more detail and much more pimp, but up to the ArmA standards...? i think that i can't. Im just a player who have the photoshop, nothing more. Let's C ya

Hi, yes, will be possible to use a modified Data.pbo into a Mod folder, but again... that will not allow the users to play in many public MP servers; and about BIS using this Marines... that's impossible. What they could do... is make more USMC vehicles, ground and air vehicles, plus a good number of grunts in detail wiz the propper USMC equipment; but i think that they'll release it as a expansion pack with it's own campaign that we'll had to pay. And i'll pay with a smile for that; even if i had to kill, rape or steal to my "dear" spanish bros i'll buy that for sure; but that just don't gonna happen, so we better go back to dream with horny girls and free sex, drugs and R'n'R instead disscuss in this tread what BIS could do in the future, sure that they already have they're plans; and look at the amount of bugs that they've to fix... they've work enought. Hi, well DevilDog... replace the game's ACU textures with this Marpat textures is a bit complex. You'll need: A) PBO pack/unPack tool. B) Open the Characters.pbo, locate the original textures inside the opened folders and replace 'em with the Marpat textures inside this Marines. C) RePack again the Characters (or Data.pbo) folder and copy it again inside the ArmA folder. The thing with this is that you may not play in MP or patch the game, because you moded a file in the game. But i think that that's the right way for replace the ACU textures with the textures of this Marines. Hope that this info helps you. Let's C ya

Hi, a mixed load will be great, some iron bombs, some rockets, some AGM 165 and some AIM-9L/M. A real load out of the CAS plane; that will be pimp and much more utile than loadouts focused only in one task, bombing or guided ATG strike. That kind of thing don't happens in a war; and by the way... i'll like too to see the camels removed from the game, WW-I planes in a game like this just make no sense. Let's C ya

Hi, that V-22A Osprey model was made, textured and mapped by Sole, not by me. I just remade the textures a bit; very poorly if you ask me, even lower than the OFP 1.10 CWC textures detail. I'll love to have a MV-22B Osprey up to the ArmA models/textures quality, where transport my Johnn's Marines to the death or glory; but with so poorly made textures... this MV-22B is not that pimp. Hi, yes stewy; i though in do some in that way, but i preffer 'em in this way; as it's a game... it don't really matters how it looks like while it works better than the naked skin, at least i don't really give that much about it. Let's C ya

Hi, the OFrP Mod/Addons made soem of the best addons that i ever seen for the OFP, and i don't care if they're frenchs or not; i hope that they do it again in the ArmA, those screenshots look very good. Let's C ya

Hi, i belive that some OFP addons could be easy ported to the ArmA without loose detail and maybe adding new details to the ported model, like a spitting window for the empty cannon shells fired by the tanks; addons with a reasonable graphic quality closer to the ArmA's graphic quality, like: - INQ M60A1. - INQ Dodge Pickup (with cargo on the box and anims to the cargo). The M60 could be "easy" transformed too into a desert camoed M60A1, and the Dodge Pickup could use some of the civilian cargo anims. That M60A1 will fit for the RACS units. Let's C ya

Hi, if RHS gonna do some tanks, i'll like to see 'em spitt the empty shells by the right ejection ports, like with the OFP T72/T90 pack, that was a very good and scary feature that i'll like to see in the ArmA too; someday with the right tools, a modification of the BIS tanks with this feature will be great. Hi, to make a tank remain static in a position, what i'll do, will be: Move all the way to the left the Fuel percentage into the armoured unit menu; that way it'll not move a single meter. And if i wanted it to move, then i'll create a trigger that refuels the tank's depot; something like: "rustypieceofshit setfuel 1"; but as i don't know anything about scripting... you should check what the damn & chaotic biki tells you. Hi, now we only need some good coop missions and that the public MP servers use 'em; ain't like that much how the woodland vest look on the FR units, but i guess that's the best that can be made without change the vest model for a M-CIRAS model and textures, will had been nice to give 'em a green or Tan Mitch-TC2000 with some velcro pieces at the sides or on the top; but this Marines look good, and what i've said... now we only need some MP missions for use 'em and public servers that host the missions. Hi, i miss the old OFP sun glasses pack, something like that will be very pimp; but i don't think that at the moment a "remove lens flare" addon could be done, at least... as stand alone addon; maybe as a mod. But i think that's impossible to remove the blinding effect from the game, but well, i'm not a config writer or scripter, so i don't know. Let's C ya

Hi, the best solution to deal with the cheaters in a game like this one, that i know... is to identify positively that the man's using cheats and kick him from the server or... ban him and send his nick/IP to that global banning list. Unfortunately... you can't count with have always an admin or just a serious admin in a public server; also you can't always count on the big amount of fool damn kids that play to this game, lately is really hard to find a public server where don't be at least a Team Killer or many people that don't really follow orders or that just like to play as rambo, risking the life of they're team mates and wasting the mission resources in a stupid way; like waste or destroy the not respawning vehicles available in a coop mission or things like that. Hi, i know that the yankee Marines don't use to put flags and in they're jackets, but i've seen some photos of Force Recon units with flags over the sleeves pockets closure. If you look at the current addon version... you'll notice a red & white medical cross over the Corpsman's backpack, and a Tag preying: "Wagner" over the Force Recon's backpack; i just though that use those more generic "Murphy" and "U.S. Marines" Tags may be a good idea for a future update, just that. I also have seen some photos of Marines wearing a "Marines" Tag or a Tag with they're name in the Eliminator III vest above the heart and in the back side of the neck cover of the vest. But i'll not add the Tags there. Let's C ya

Hi, i think that the rockets and gun pods smoke clouds and trails should be black or dark gray instead white; and that the hinds should have another benches in front the current ones, so the cargo troops could breath a bit. I also think that the benches should be moved a bit forward because the units at the far end clip through the inside bottom wall of the cargo area; and that the benches should be moved a few centimeters to the right, to avoid the cargo units on the left benches seats, to take out the feet finger nails by the hinds wall. Also the empty shells from the cannon should have a golden shape instead the blue color that they've right now; but the hinds are scary and really great, it's sad that they don't engage ground troops unless the hinds be stopped on the ground and the tangos in the cannon searching arch. Hi, if i had to use any kind of medic patch into some USMC addon units, i'll use this one: And i'll use over the backpack, the subdued snake rolled up on the cup with the angel wings at the sides (the default medic sign) for prevent anyone to think "oh man, i've a Force Recon man at my side, great" when what he really have at his side... is a medic with less ammo than any of the other squad mates. What i'll update for sure, is the Grenadier, and i'll give him a pimp M16A4/M203 ACOG; i'll arm the Team & Squad Leaders with it too and i'll give the Team Leader, 4 M433 nades & 4 Green Flares; and a B92FS with for mags and 4 Green Flares to the Squad Leader. I think that may be a good idea... maybe even give a M4/M203 ACOG to the Team Leader too; i don't know... it's not my addon. Two reference photos of the sleeves pockets: Right Sleeve Pocket: Left Sleeve Pocket: For the "Marines" Tag on the backpack... i'll use this one instead that "Wagner" Tag: Or those ones for the Desert Marines. But as i've said... is not my addon & i like how they look; i just hope that all those photos and ideas serve for something. Let's C ya P.S: Notice the cold light temperature of the photos that i took of the jacket sleeves pockets; that's because they were took near winter; and i live in the N side of spain (here rains).

Hi, another thing that i forget to mention is that there aren't the units Class Name into the the readme, that will make it much easy for the mission makers. No USMC Needer, i wasn't meaning that one, i was meaning in the 8 peaks cap, booth in the (W) & (D) Marines, i've a good photo of the 8 peaks cap(D), but unfortunately... i haven't any of the cap(W), the closer thing that i've is a photo of the left chest pocket; but the eagle is banked to the right, so it don't serves. And speaking of banked things... most of the USMC soldier's photos that i have, show the sides of the helmet cover banked to the right if we look at the helmet from it's left side; but that's a small thingy. Hi, what ain't like of that sign &/or the Corpsman patch, is that booth look as displaced to the right, plus the fact that add the same name or tag to all the soldiers of the same class, reduces the random shape in 'em; will be better a tag that just say "Marines" in my opinion; will not reduce more the random shape and may look good. But that's just my opinion. Let's C ya

Hi, is true... the Glove, anchor & eagle are there (im an asshole) but i think that they're on the wrong side, that it should be in the external side of the boot, like in this pics: U.S. Cavalry USMC boots But that's not a so bad thing, i like how they look anyway; what i ain't like that much... is that "Wagner" letter on the top of the FR units, or the Corpsman patch on the backpack, it looks weird & ain't like it too; but's not my addon & i keep saying that it looks good anyway. It'll will look better when BIS release some editing tools, then you could add much more things; i could steal some things from you >>;-) . Let's C ya

Hi, they look very good in game, much better than previously released Marines that i had; plus that this ones have M16A4's instead M4's. But i miss some things on 'em; like: - Green or Coyote Tan Jungle hat head band. - Sleeves pockets. - Glove, anchor & eagle in the 8 peaks cap. - Glove, anchor & eagle on the boots. - Darker Coyote Tan in the Marpat(W) boots. - Green or Woodland Kneepads in the Marpat(W). - Coyote Tan Kneepads in the Marpat(D). And the pants leg's pouches could have costures marks for the differentiation of the vertical marks; also in the right side of the central part of the helmet cover, in booth (W) & (D) versions... there's no costures/shadows/lights differentiation, as if they were out of the shown mapped zone. If you look really really close... you can see a clipping area under the kneepads pad, where you can see the BDU; and the boots sole is an Altama sole instead the Vibram sole that the USMC boots use; but those are small things. The units look very good & i like 'em alot. Well done. Let's C ya
